  1. I think they are all bland neutral colors. I hope this isn’t the wow item. That would bum me out. I’ll trade this for sure. Any seasonal peeps who want a specific one, hit me up.

  2. Am I the only one who thinks that the way the cotton is woven makes the throw look like a placemat on that close up picture? 🤔 Don’t know that I wanna snuggle up on the couch with a giant placemat 😝

  3. Oooh, I like this spoiler, but then I really like throw blankets! Loved the Popsugar one last winter.

  4. I use my popsugar white 100% cotton throw every night I would usually avoid light color blankets but it doesn’t get dirty easy. So I think this spoiler is great. Cotton is very fresh and cooling and if i am still cold i throw a polyester blanket over to trap heat but keeps me from sweating if layered over cotton.

  5. Do they have edit sales as well? In between seasons?

    • Last season they had a Marketplace to shop add ons etc. it was the first season they had it if I recall correctly. If I’m wrong, someone will correct me.

    • I don’t think they’ve had sales that weren’t at the same time as the seasonal box yet but the marketplace is very new still.

  6. Causebox updates every internet platform except their own website. Weird.

    • I think those are different teams or contractors at companies. Regardless, it’s probably a company structure or PR thing.

  7. I love the one on the right especially. I am getting the throw from FFF, however I feel one can never have too many throws or socks! And I am from Florida. I wish they would allow non-annuals one choice. I have many jewelry organizers and i am already receiving gloves in my FFF box, plus another pair. I could use the serving utensils though. I have received the last three boxes and love Causebox. I plan on purchasing an annual in the Spring for sure!

    • I’m also in Florida and agree on their never being too many throws in the house. I wasn’t thrilled with the first spoiler but I’d be happy with either of these.

  8. My annual was up after the summer box, and did not renew for fall. Mainly do not like the items, and was hoping for a Black Friday deal. Last year, I had just bought the fall box annual and they had a bf deal. Like the spoiiers so far, it will wait until bf

    • What was the deal for black Friday last year??

      • I think they had a mystery box with purchase, but I didn’t order it so I’m not sure what was in it.

      • It was just a couple of leftover items from previous boxes. I didn’t think it was very exciting and I enjoy CB.

  9. Aside from the fact that I can’t imagine a cotton throw being particularly warm, the fact that I can’t choose prevents me from subscribing.

  10. I never subscribed to this box, do non annuals get to make any choices?

    • No, only annuals get to customize at this time. It is a great box though! I love their items, they are quality and not a lot of junk like FFF, and their customer service has been helpful and really lovely. I love their cause, so overall, it is great! Journeebox is another really amazing box and a good replacement of FFF.

      • Curious about your experience with FFF! You seem to not be a fan lol. I subscribe to both CB and FFF. Haven’t gotten my first CB yet but I enjoyed the FFF one. I do hear often that CB has higher quality items tho.

      • Haha I actually really like Fabfitfun because I just don’t expect quick shipping (although they seemed to have REALLY gotten it together and I’ve already gotten a shipping notice a few days after Add Ons closed!). I just have more realistic expectations with Fabfitfun than most people do but there are definitely issues with out of stock items and they don’t seem to notify you and refund unless you speak with customer service. Their website crashes and there’s glitches every season. But, they’ve always made it right so I think it’s still worth it because their selections are great (especially this season) and Add Ons are worth it alone. Spongellé’s are life!!!!

But journeebox and Causebox are really shaping into great boxes and for once are competition for Fabfitfun, they pretty much had a monopoly on the $50 a quarter lifestyle box arena.

  11. Hmm, will have to wait to feel this in person before I know if I’ll keep, gift, or swap. I always have a slight reservation about nicer woven blankets like this because we have a kitty Head Pastry Chef who makes hella blanket biscuits and they don’t stay nice for long.

    • Too funny and totally relate!

    • That’s the cutest comment !

    • Are you from Northern California? I ask because every time I see “Hella” in a comment, I remember it being super popular there when I was growing up!

  12. Tempted to sub to this box! I would love the jewelry box and another throw🙂

  13. I never have enough throws! They seem to be claimed by the fur babies! Lol. I really like this throw! 100% cotton. Since hubby and animals are green red color blind (animals do not see in black and white), neutral colors are the best!

  14. Decent. I’ll never turn my nose up at a throw, I just hope its thicker than it looks.

  15. Darn, I am getting two throws in my FFF box, one with the box and one add on from mer-sea which is so lovely and warm. But this throw looks different so that is a plus! It looks nice and soft too. I think it is looking like a great box. I was not thrilled with the first spoiler because I am in FL and do not need mittens, and have a few jewelry boxes, so by default the spoons it will be!

  16. I can’t believe people complain about getting throws. I can always use them. I put some from other sub boxes in our RV.

    • Not all of us of extra places to put our throws. Some of us have rather limited space.

      • I think if someone has such limited space they have no room for a throw subscription boxes are probably not the best fit for them. There are always items you don’t want or need. Someone with limited space would be best off buying the specific items they need that fits the space they have to work with.

    • I travel with my throws too @Shelley.

  17. I’m with DawnB on this one. I have 6 throws from sub boxes already…same bland color schemes. I actually liked the previous spoiler better. I can’t gift anymore throws, my family is sick of them too.

    • Animal shelters will never turn them down.

    • Donate them! Shelters always need blankets.

    • Donate them to someone in need! I’m sure there are charities or shelters that would welcome them.

      • Yes! Love that idea!

  18. I’m choosing the cream blanket and the mittens! So excited for this box!

  19. I think the same place that is behind these blankets are behind the pillows that are in the GlobeIn November box. Personally I’d rather have the blanket.

  20. That looks fantastic if the fabric is nice. Does anyone know the materials?

  21. That’s more like it!

  22. I wasn’t as excited about the first spoilers but this looks so nice. I wonder how soft the blanket is, hard to tell from pics.

  23. What material is the throw made of?

    • 100% Cotton

  24. Ugh. I already have umpteen throws from sub boxes. And they are all bland neutral colors. I hope this isn’t the wow item. That would bum me out. I’ll trade this for sure. Any seasonal peeps who want a specific one, hit me up.

  25. Ugh! I want both blankets! I’m thinking the cream one.

    • Me too!!! I can’t decide

  26. The throw looks gorgeous–can’t wait to snuggle up in it! I am continually blown away by the quality of the products in Causebox.
