BoxyCharm December 2019 Spoilers!

I hated Decembers box. For a holiday month this box was the worst I’ve ever received

Is this just for the luxe box or for the regular box?

NOT at all!!! To be quite honest I’m not feeling ANYTHING so far!!! Unless something great shows up as a spoiler over the next week im cancelling ALL of it! No way in the world am i gonna pay 30$ for one of them ole dinky mini storybook palettes and CERTAINLY NOT 50$ for LUXE as well!! Heck NO! I picked elemis face oil but to be honest I have been getting SO much face oil from ipsy I don’t want ANOTHER or need another! And a face roller or qms(a brand with VERY few reviews) and ALSO heard that crap might not even be authentic! NO ma’am! I’m gonna pass on that! There’s just no way I want to pay nearly 100$ for that crap! And I’m STILL on premium waitlist which means i have to keep my basebox to get it …thats just entirely too much money for me and esp not to already like ANYTHING so far!! Ehhh i REALLY wish they hurry the hell up and announce what’s going on with pop-up bc that’s really what I’m most interested in!

OMG I cannot believe they are giving us this Palette for December. I love all colors of eye shadows but they really should be giving us something more suitable for Winter that majority of us could wear. I would think the December box would be the best since it is Christmas and all. I will be giving this one to my niece for xmas which is fine, I can always give products to my nieces if they don’t work for me. It is just a little disappointing to be getting this one and brand in the last box of the year. I have not checked the foundation sample I received yet but looking at the color of the package, they all really look way too dark for me. It would be great to get a foundation or concealer in future boxes but they really need to get the colors right for each of our skin tones.

Thanks for another great review! I wondered if anyone knows what time the Boxy Pop Up shop opens for current members? I know it opens Monday November 11th just wondering what time. I never get to shop cause I’m always late CAUSE they never post a dang time! I set my alarm for 7am central time.

these palettes are awful…i already hate the palette they sent in november. i’m holding out tho in case they have a concealer/foundation next month

Storybook cosmetics now has a monthly subscription box! A different book every month starting with Little Women! Comes with a full size lip product and 3 full size eyeshadows!

I for one am happy to be getting Luxe for December. The shades in the Storybook palette in that box look a lot more wearable for me.

I have purchased eyeshadow palettes from Storybrook before and the quality was awful. Lots of fallout and poor pigmentation. As soon as I saw the spoilers for this brand I cancelled for December. Their are much better brands out there, especially when you take into consideration how expensive they are! No thanks, I saved the money I would have spent and put it towards the Tati volume 1 eyeshadow palette instead.

I can’t believe people don’t like these! I’m getting Boxyluxe, but I wouldn’t mind one of the minis in addition to it. My husband purchased the wizard brush set for me, when it first came out. It’s very high quality. Their items are unique and the quality seems to be quite high.

This brand has good reviews on You Tube. I’m excited to give them a try. I don’t always wear really bright colors but I’ve found that using a nice taupe all over with a color on the lid makes almost anything wearable or under the eye as a fun pop of color. I love being able to try new to me brands!

I get kind of upset when I write a thoughtful, long post and it disappears. MSA could you tell us why our posts disappear at times?

Really these are awful, I am 56 years old, and while I think that anyone can use any products their comfortable with as they mature, I have found somethings just hold no interest for me anymore. I do see 70 year old ladies with Disney clothes and purses etc….etc…. Yet I prefer a more classic, plain, neutral look, in both Cosmetics and clothing. I sometimes instead of variations I wish Boxy offered a classic and a trendy box. Some of us just are not comfortable with bold, glitter or neon Palettes any longer.

I’ll be gifting or donating both eyeshadow palettes for luxe and premium. They aren’t bad but it’s just not something I will enjoy. I do appreciate Boxycharm bringing semi-indie brands to the table. Storybook does have a small YouTube influencer following just not as huge as other premium brands.

Since I plan on gifting/donating I may do double storybook based on ages. 🙂

Meh. For some reason, I could never bring myself to put red around my eyes… 😂😂😂

do not want any storybook Pallette. I know Boxy has been popular for it’s eyeshadow Pallets, but I Sure wish we could choose if we want a eye pallet or skincare item. A eyeshadow pallet with moderate use can last 3-4 years if your getting 12 of them a year, you have to throw them out, I do not give people used eye shadow pallets for sanitary and hygiene reasons. I threw out 10 barely used pallets this month. I feel wasteful.

Nope. After the weird color palette in November, these are just adding to the pain. November is my final box. Boxycharm doesn’t work for me. It was a very short relationship, lol. I’m really glad I got the Tarte make-your-own-box! Beats the heck out of this.

Sorry but neither

These are adorable, I’m totally down to get minis since I don’t want the boxyluxe so far. If I get green I’m ready to trade anyone who got the brown! I’m full up on Brown and red shadows but I’m never ever gonna wear green so… Rambling!
