Dawn

Native deodorant turned my armpits black over a few months of use. Apparently, the baking soda is the culprit. I was super sad, because this is one of the 3 natural deodorants which worked for me.

Native did the same to my armpits over the course of a few weeks. My sister who is a breast cancer survivor loves it and it works well for her. I was disappointed that it wasn’t good for me.

My daughter uses it with no armpit darkening. Just my dumb luck.

They also have two holiday sample bags that will release 11/3 as well; a hair product sample bag for $15 and a glam sample bag for the same price. The glam bag has 2(!) false lash sets and the hair product bag looks like it’s all shampoo/conditioner samples.

After reviewing the Oct box contents and scrolling down to this one, I couldn’t stop laughing as I was clicking the link. All I was thinking was “Oh, this will be interesting”! Yep. TERRIBLE! Ha!

These new monthly boxes and the advent calendars have gone WAY down hill with product curation, or maybe better companies won’t partner anymore… who knows.

TWO dry shampoos AND a dry conditioner?? Nope.

Lori

Awww, sad and disappointing. Hope they do another Dermstore collab!

I am *trying* to like this, but I really can’t. There is barely anything in this I would actually use. And they include the Pixi Glow Tonic every year.

I wish they would have had a best of Dermstore like they did last year, it was fantastic!

Great box for the price, I don’t need a thing, but it’s perfect for gifting a non sub box addict friend!

I believe the 2018 box was $19.99.

WOW….This Is A Sad Looking Box !!!!! With all the makeup & skincare products Target carries, this is pathetic.

Lisa

Pretty good deal, especially if the AHC eye cream is full size. That alone retails for $28.99. My rough estimate is that the box has a value of around $54 (if the AHC is full size).

I’ve been waiting for this but too many hair products, some nice items. Just doesn’t wow me.

Finally an Advent calendar I can afford, lol. I agree it is heavy on hair products (2 dry shampoo?) and overlapping brands for just 12 items…

Omg Target had AHC now I’m gonna go look right now bc I got 3 if their quench products and they’re freakin fantastic I’m hooked!!! If I can buy them there I’m set!! Thanks for this post!!!

The AHC might be worth more than the whole box. It is the Native deodorant and body wash if you go to Target you can zoom in and see the items better. Definitely a better deal than most advent boxes, it seems like Target with their sock advent calendars and this is doing a great job. That said – not only am I on product overload, I’m on sock overload.

THe bigger Native doesn’t look like deodorant but like their body wash. I think it all looks pretty good.

You’re right! Just updated the post, thanks for the heads up!

Too many hair products. The price is great though.

Daria

Looks like a pretty good deal – for a change. These calendars are usually such ripoffs (IMHO).

Jackie

Agreed, the deodorant alone is $12 RV.

I think it’s actually a mini Native deodorant and a travel Native body wash in the same scent.
Still looks awesome!
