Rocksbox is a designer jewelry styling and renting service. Members pay a flat rate every month to get unlimited access to the Rocksbox collection and the option to buy the pieces they love most at a discounted price. Right now, you can even get your first month of Rocksbox membership for free! (Read on to learn how, or check out our list of other free subscription boxes here!)
Upon subscribing, you'll take a "style survey," so Rocksbox can suggest jewelry pieces that fit your style. You can also browse their catalog and add pieces to your wishlist. Each month, Rocksbox will curate sets of three pieces to send your way, including at least one piece from your wishlist.
Try on the items in the box, and wear them as long as you'd like. From there, you have two choices. If you love any of the pieces enough to want to keep them, you can put your monthly "Shine Credit" towards your purchase.
Or, if you're ready for another style, return your box using the free shipping label and reusable envelope you got with your shipment. Shortly after, you'll get a brand new box of jewelry to enjoy!
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Rocksbox Rental Jewelry October 2019 Review
Here's the info booklet that came with the jewelry set. It includes a product list with retail and member-specific pricing.
They also included a handy jewelry care card.
A free return shipping label is also at the bottom of the box.
FYI: The outer envelope that Rocksbox ships inside doubles as a return shipping envelope! Be careful as you cut it open—there's a second adhesive strip that can be used to reseal the envelope for its trip back.
Each jewelry item comes tucked inside its own protective pouch that can also be used as a polishing cloth.
Aster Clove Huggies in Gold - Listed Value $51.00, Member Price $60.00
I am on a bit of a pearl kick this year. I just love the irregularity and organic beauty of a lumpy, bumpy pearl! These huggies are totally in line with the sort of jewelry I have been loving lately because they have my beloved pearls and are also small enough to layer with other pieces and earrings but still special enough not to go unnoticed. These looked extra polished with my hair up and added just the right amount of shine to my look for a casual turtleneck sort of day.
Kendra Scott Keerti Small Drop Earrings - Listed Value $58.00, Member Price $58.00
Is it even a Megan Rocksbox review without at least one piece of Kendra Scott jewelry? I have a type. I really liked these simple geometric earrings as soon as I saw them. They are lightweight but still substantial, and they have a delightful dangle and sound when worn. These go just as well with my everyday casual look as they would with a dress for an evening event. I think the brushed finish is a nice touch and gives these earrings a little more interest.
Kendra Scott Amiya Bracelets - Listed Value $128.00, Member Price $128.00
SWOON. Ok, we have come full circle. Kendra Scott AND pearl? Check, check. I am obsessed with these cuffs. They are adjustable so you can wear them loosely or a little more flush as I did above. These are the ultimate "play with me" sort of bracelets, and I found them endlessly distracting when worn during the day as I typed on my laptop because they are wonderfully asymmetrical and interesting to adjust and stack with other favorite cuffs. These are a little too steep for me to splurge on (though if they had been sterling it would have been game over for my wallet) so I appreciate getting to borrow them for much less than their retail price tag.
The Verdict: Rocksbox, again, managed to send me all three pieces from my wishlist this month. I always appreciate this since I can be quite picky about my jewelry. There was a definite pearl + gold theme this month, but that is where my head has been for months when it comes to smaller jewelry items so I am pretty pleased! The cuffs will absolutely be the most difficult items to send back, so I plan on holding on to them for another week or two to really enjoy them!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on the customer's tastes and what's available at the time. You can, however, give the Rocksbox stylists a nudge by adding your favorite pieces to your wishlist!
Value Breakdown: Rocksbox membership costs $21.00 per month. At retail, the three pieces would cost me $246.00. With my Rocksbox discounts and the member pricing (including the buy-all-three-items discount, my $20 worth of Forever Credit that I have on my account, and the $21.00 of Shine Credit [the membership fee for the month, which goes towards your purchases]), and the $10 buy all three discount, that price drops to $186.00.
