Known Supply Weekender Duffel in Lake Blue – Retail Value $108

(Subscribers will receive this color or Forest Green, or Stone Gray. If you are an annual subscriber, you get to pick the color. Slide through to see all options.)

I think this item alone is worth the cost of the box. It’s such a classic piece, and I love each of the color options. The fabric is 100% cotton canvas, it has an adjustable shoulder strap in addition to handles, and brass hardware accents. There’s one zipper pocket on the exterior, and another one inside the bag as well. It feels very durable, and I think I’ll be using this for year.

Underwood Letterpress Felt Letter Board – Retail Value $30

(Subscribers will receive this or Glass Ladder & Co. Terrazzo Travel Wallet (Retail Value $45) If you are an annual subscriber, you get to pick the item. Slide through the photos to see all options.)

I just realized that felt letter boards are great for holiday decorating so this felt board will be busy over the next 2 months! It measures 10″ by 10″ and comes with a cotton drawstring pouch for any loose letters you aren’t using. It also has a picture frame hanging hardware on the back if you want to display it on a wall.

Alternate Item: Glass Ladder & Co. Terrazzo Travel Wallet – Retail Value $45

The terrazzo print on the vegan leather feels very on-trend right now, and the peachy-pink color is working for me, too. Inside there are two card slots, 4 other large pockets to fit your passport, cash, receipts, and even your phone! (I was surprised to read in the CAUSEBOX magazine that the central side pocket could fit almost any smartphone, but then I tested it with my iPhone and it totally worked. I could snap it closed and everything.

Nashelle Heather Drop Lariat Necklace in Gold or Silver Plated – $38

(Subscribers will receive this in Gold plated or Silver plated. If you are an annual subscriber, you get to pick the color. Slide through to see both options.)

This necklace has a 25-inch chain, and you can adjust where you want the ting to go, making it longer or shorter. (Just make sure to wrap the chain through the ring so that it stays in place. I’m modeling it over a turtleneck here, and I think it would be great peeking through from a button-down shirt, too.

la beauté Soi 10-Piece Makeup Brush Collection – Retail Value $24

I’m very impressed with the quality of this brush collection. The brushes are vegan, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic, with hand-trimmed bristles.

The faux leather carrying case is useful, and I really like the all-white look of the bag, handles, and bristles with the rose gold metal accent. My favorite brush so far has been the foundation brush (close up in the last photo). It’s super densely packed and the closest thing I’ve found to a beauty blender in brush form!

(MALIN+GOETZ) Recovery Treatment Oil – Retail Value $82

This face oil is worth well over the entire cost of the box! This is a great (and pricey) ingredient-conscious skincare line, so I was thrilled to see this in the box. The formula is designed to help hydrate skin and decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s lightweight, absorbed quickly, and left my skin feeling noticeably softer. It’s also scented naturally with essential oils like spearmint, grapefruit, and orange!

La Lueur Candles White Cactus Coconut Wax Candle – $35

I was very happy to see that this candle is free from phthalates, sulfates, and parabens. I’m always on the hunt for a scented candle that is phthalate-free, and they are hard to find! This formula is made from a coconut wax blend. The vessel is a reusable glass with a white matte finish on the exterior, and it’s made in the USA! (8 ounces, 40 hour burn time.)

The scent has notes of cactus flower, coconut, and musk – and I was impressed with the scent throw. (Usually, phthalate-free candles don’t carry a lot of scent.)

                    Art Print – $10

And in every box, CAUSEBOX works with an artist to design the box and artwork. These little postcard-sized prints are great for framing!

Verdict: This CAUSEBOX has a value of over $300! As usual, I am so impressed with CAUSEBOX. I love their mission of working with brands + companies that give back, support fair trade, etc., and the box curation is equally amazing. The value is great for a $54.95 box, and incredible with the 30% off coupon. Usually it’s difficult for a box to curate a colletion that feels both practical and special, but I think CAUSEBOX nailed it with the Fall box.

                    To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? As of publication date, yes!

                    1. I have a silly question…is “ladder” supposed to be spelled with 3 Ds? Mine is on the travel wallet

                      • There is a reason for the extra D but I can’t remember. To raise awareness about something. They have more details about it on the site for the company that made it.

                      • The Division of Developmental Disabilities is a division (or department) in most states that offers supportive services for people with disabilities. DDD connects their population to various service providers that support the needs of their community.

                    2. The code does not work 🙁

                      • Sorry just updated the post. Try FALL30

                        • FALL30 code does not work :/

                          • Fall box sold out on Nov 1st. Try $10 off using promo WELCOME10

                    3. I had an issue with my marketplace order so I sent them an email 3 or 4 working days ago. I got a response today and they were incredibly apologetic about the longer-than-usual response time and the issue. They promised to resolve it ASAP. Just an FYI for anyone having problems getting a hold of them. Responses are a bit delayed but they are trying. They are a very small company but I’ve always had great experience with their CS.

                    4. I tried to enter the code for 30% off and it said it was invalid. :o(

                      • Try FALL30 or CB30

                    5. I really love this box. The duffel, candle, and face oil were especially impressive in quality. Shipping is still on the slower side, but I’m more willing to tolerate it from Causebox based on the type of organizations/artisans they partner with.

                      • Awesome to hear Jessica!

                    6. I was sent a code for 20% off so resubscribed. After reading Liz’s review I realize how much better this box is than I had previously thought. I can definitely use everything and what a value! With the 30% code now offered I don’t think you could go wrong by subscribing.

                    7. I finally got my CAUSEBOX today and must admit it was worth the wait! The striped weekender is way nicer than I ever expected! I love it! The necklace in silver will be a great gift for my daughter and the travel case and card case are both beautiful! Love everything!!!!

                    8. Seeing the letter board makes me wish I chose it over the travel wallet. So cute! I loved everything in the box though. Only complaint is the face oil made my face burn. 😫

                      • Use the oil on your body instead of your face. Or mix with lotion on your body to bump up the anti aging benefits all over. 🙂

                    9. Hannah from Causebox sent me the code for 30% off. I went to use the code and when I received my confirmation email I was charged full price. C.S. said I couldn’t use the code since I had used a code previously. My complaint is why did Hannah send me the code in the first place? Not happy.

                      • See that’s weird because I have an annual And was able to add a second subscription to my account and even emailed them and they allowed me to customize using that same code you used.

                    10. I bought a candle off someone, that’s the only item I wanted. And got the empty box to store my kids’ stuff. Win-win.

                    11. I received my box a week ago but haven’t opened it yet (we just moved and are still unpacking) …. I had forgotten what we were receiving but now I can’t wait to open it before our trip next week! The duffel bag, travel wallet and makeup brush set will be perfect for the 4 days we’ll be gone! CAUSEBOX is the only sub I have left and it always hits the mark for me.

                    12. I’m still waiting and I ordered in AUGUST 🙁 No response to emails and nobody answers the phone number listed from the better business bureau.

                      • If you are feeling done and could care less about the box at this point dispute it with your credit card company. Not sure if they’ll black list you though.

                      • Reach out to them on Instagram. Find their page, and post a message on one of their posts. Or try DMing them.

                    13. This was my first Causebox and I love and am using every item. The face oil is the best I’ve ever used. It absorbs immediately. The necklace is high quality. I prefer gold metals but they can look cheap with costume jewelry—not this one! I’ve worn it several times. The candle is heavenly and the letterboard is really fun for my kids and me. The bag is beautiful and durable (I got green). I’m super impressed.

                    14. Got my shipping notice last night!

                      • Love love love this box. The duffle is so well made as are the brushes. Love the necklace since it’s adjustable and simple. The letter board will be a fun gift for my son’s family and the oil is super smoothing and soothing to my face.
Excellent quality and curation. Causebox’s booklet lets me get to know the makers of whom I am so impressed by their determination to build woman power in their communities.

                    15. No to a $10 printed postcard.

                      • If you feel that way about the postcard just calculate the worth of your box without it.
Without the postcard it makes your box worth $317 instead of $327. And that is assuming you received the less expensive letter board over the wallet. Can you live with that? I can! Amazing box!

                      • You know, I actually like the postcard with its diversity of women from different cultures. As a Muslim I was happy to see a woman in hijab. I may frame this one.

                    16. I thought this was a great box. I appreciate the tip on how to get the necklace to stay in place.

My daughter wanted to pull the letters for the letter board off the plastic holder, and she accidentally pulled off a bunch of the plastic tabs that keep the letters in place. So I guess I need to find some replacements…or maybe we just will never spell something that contains the letter S. 😉

                      • Does is come with a money sign? You can just use that instead if an S and look $uper cool, lol!

                        • LOL — I hadn’t thought about that, but that could be a solution!

                          • 😂😇

                    17. I love my Fall box! I got the striped weekender, gold necklace, and the letter board. I gave my 15 year old daughter the letter board and she loves it! I think it would also be great for holiday decorating. The candle smells wonderful and I love the addition of the brushes and face oil. Highly recommend this box!

                    18. I wish they would ship my box. I chose the striped bag, gold necklace, and letter board.

                    19. Liz, there’s no padding in the shoulder strap on the bag, right? Did you find it was uncomfortable at all? I’m definitely looking forward to using this bag once my box ships but I’m worried that when I’m carrying it packed with my stuff that the shoulder strap will dig in to/chafe my shoulder.

                      • The shoulder strap does not have any padding in it. I wouldn’t worry too much, unless your planning on hiking Mount Everest with a dead body in the bag you should be fine..

                        • Are speaking from experience… 😂

                          • *you

                          • My husband said the exact same thing after I posted my reply 😱🤣

                        • Well there went my vacation.

                        • LOL, thanks for the tip 😉

                    20. My first box and the duffle sold me. I am a new fan of their causes….sustainability and value above just makeup and frivolous items. Best box for me and all quality… not cheap. I even got to look up the maker of my bag to send a note. Thx Causebox! Love it all!

                      • “I even got to look up the maker of my bag to send a note. ”

                        Oh wow, that’s super cool!
