Stryve Beef Biltong, 2.5 oz – Retail value $7.99

These were just too spicy for me. Will, on the other hand, LOVED them! He is a spicy snack aficionado, and these got two enthusiastic thumbs up. I loved that the ingredient list was super short and I could recognize all the ingredients. I also thought this was a really generously sized bag, though they honestly didn’t last long in Will’s hands.

Apple Cinnamon Freedom Bar, 1.7 oz – Buy 15 bars for $23.79

This bar had great taste, but I wasn’t as sure about the texture. If you love apple and cinnamon snacks, this will likely be a win for you, but I found the bar a little too soft? You could tell there were dried apple pieces inside, which I loved, but I think there needed to be some sort of crunch or firm element. Maybe oats?

Beanitos Baked Bean Crunch in Mac’n Cheese, 0.75 oz –  Buy a 6 4.5 oz bags for $24.99

I am obsessed with these. I need more bags STAT. They have a consistency that reminds me of extra crunchy Cheetos and the most excellent cheese powder coating. They are just salty and cheesy enough to tick all of my boxes when it comes to a savory snack. * adds to cart *

Wonderful Honey Roasted Pistachios, 2.25 oz – Buy 8 packs for $31.40

I love pistachios and these are already shelled, meaning no work before enjoying them as a midday snack. These happen to be honey roasted and they were so good. I am a sucker for a sweet and salty snack. This was pretty generously sized bag too, meaning they lasted a few days.

Split Peanut Butter and Jelly Pack, 38 g – Buy 10 packs for $24.95

Anyone else out there totally crazy for squeezy packs of peanut butter? If you are, you are going to love this, just like I did. This pack is split between peanut butter and grape jelly, making it the ideal on the go snack for both protein and sugar cravings. You can also squeeze them out onto bread or crackers.

Fit Joy Nacho Cheese Puffs, 2 oz– Buy 6 packs for $19.99

More puffs! Though I was a little afraid these would be too spicy because they were nacho cheese-flavored, they ended up tasting more like cheesy taco seasoning which suited me just fine. They were airier than the other puffs this month but still felt like a substantial snack. I liked the flavor and texture a lot.

Verdict: This was my favorite SnackNation box yet. I felt like all of the snacks were home runs for me except the jerky, but Will devoured that bag so fast I didn’t even mind. The puffs were out of this world and I am still craving more pistachios! I am looking forward to next month’s creative and healthy snack options!

              To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? It’s more of a randomized selection. From SnackNation:

              1. Wow, we didn’t even get one item in common! When my sister got this box, we’d compare, & we usually had a few in common.

I did get the protein puffs in a different flavor: peanut. I got that brand of biltong in a previous box & loved it so much that I purchased some via the Snacknation shop (though I did not get the spicy version, thank goodness).

              2. I have been buying cases of those Beanitos things for a year or two now. I eat them nearly every day.

              3. Yum, what a great box! I saw last month’s review but forgot to sign up. October it is!
