Jewelry Subscription Box Review September 2019

Jewelry Subscription Box September 2019 - Bracelet Laidout Top

Silver Leaf Bracelet

I love this piece and am soooo bummed it arrived broken. This silver bangle bracelet has a beautiful etched leaf with a silver ball on the end. It has a nice weight to it, and I just adore how they capture the natural beauty of nature! I did contact customer service regarding the condition of the piece, and they were very sorry and are issuing a replacement on Monday.

Purple Abstract Ring (Size 7)

Check out how unique this ring is! I must say, I have never seen a ring quite like it. This piece almost has a question mark shape to it, with a large purple stone, and 7 small white gemstones. I noticed it also is very tall when on my finger, so tall in fact that I was worried I may catch it on something, or accidentally poke my son while wearing it. I also noticed this ring runs small. I have a size 7 finger, and this was painful to try and get on, but even more painful to get off! I think I will passing this piece of art on to my niece who loves distinctive jewelry and wears a smaller ring size!

Long Pendant Necklace

Fall is here, and so are pumpkin spice and sweaters, and I LOVE it! That being said, I can always use a new long pendant necklace to add a bit of sparkle to my fall outfits! This piece comes on a 33” long silver chain, and features a gold and silver “scratched” texture pendant. I love the abstract appearance of this piece, and how it will pair with basically anything! I wore it with an open cardigan, but I have other ribbed sweaters I can’t wait to wear it with! (I also can’t wait to receive my replacement bracelet, because these will pair together perfectly!)

Verdict: Jewelry Subscription is great! I am really impressed with my stylist’s ability to send me items that are really my style. I really loved the bracelet and necklace this month, and although the bracelet arrived broken, I know how wonderful their customer service is, and that they will make it right. The ring wasn’t my favorite this month, but because they ship the jewelry in beautiful pouches and boxes, it will be extremely easy to gift to someone who I know will appreciate it. I can’t wait to see what they send next month!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on your style profile! Also, it looks like Jewelry Subscription is not currently accepting any new subscribers, but check back to their website to see when enrollment is open again.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $36.99 a month + free shipping, which means that each of the 3 items in the box has an average cost of $12.33.

While I am taking a time-out from being a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, I am currently staying at home with my 2 sweet boys! My first subscription was Julep thanks to happening upon the MSA website, and it all went downhill from there! I have subscribed to Ipsy, Boxycharm, Degustabox, Julep, Graze, Bluum, Walmart, and more because I love a good surprise! I truly am a subscription addict!

  1. I think for the amount of items you get, the uniqueness and quality the pricing is reasonable. I plan to sub back, I had to scale back for financial reasons and the owner reached out to me and was so kind. I loved the surprise of what I was receiving in the mail as well but that’s why I love subscriptions period.

  2. Thank you for the review! Are the pieces plated with real metals (gold and silver)?

    • You are welcome Dawn S! Thanks for commenting! The pieces do not come with any kind of information, but I am pretty sure they are not plated with real metals.

  3. Not relevant whatsoever, but where did you get your cardigan!? I love it and it looks perfect for fall!

    • Lol! Thanks Chansie!!! I actually got it from T.J. Maxx- it is the Lucky brand, and was $39.99 about a month ago. Thanks for commenting 🙂

      • Wow awesome find! T.J. Maxx is the best!

        • Agreed! I need to see if I can find this sweater!!

        • Thanks!!! 😊 I have a T.J. Maxx obsession!!

      • I was just about to say the same thing. It’s super cute and looks great on you, Becca! Purple is my favorite color and while I also love unique, mainly silver jewelry, I KNOW I’d end up catching that on something within the first day. I’d either tear something up or injure my finger for sure. 😁

        • You are so sweet Dani G! ❤️Thank you for commenting! And I actually snagged a different sweater when I was wearing that ring- but I feel like it could do way more damage!

  4. the ring is beautiful wish this box was affordable, the cost is crazy for costume jewelry
I make and sell gemstone beaded bracelets with real fine silver beads, sterling silver and gold filled and people do not want to pay $15 bucks for a 10mm beaded bracelet lapis, rose gold etc so I find it hard to believe costume sells for this much

    • Thank you for weighing in mist! I agree, handmade jewelry is worth wayyy more than it gets sold for. I work a lot with seed beads, and the time and effort it takes to create some pieces is insane!

    • I have subbed to this box and will say the quality is really good for costume. Unlike other subs (Bijoux Box) I haven’t received broken items nor had them break the first time I wore them. Plus you get unique styling. Another great feature is that you can personally email the owner with styling tweaks if you’re not loving the selections. Maybe I live in more expensive area (likely) but this seems a fair price when compared with what you would get shopping in a store for comparable quality. I haven’t had little broken chain issues or earrings that are hard to close or open, the things I see in cheap costume jewelry. $12-15 for a piece of quality costumer jewelry seems fair.
