I always find the Emma & Chloe booklet to have a ton of style inspo, even if you don’t plan on buying other pieces. The photos are just so pretty!

      Lou Earrings

These are super cute! I love that they cling to the ends of my lobes though they would be even cuter on detached lobes. I like the oversized look of these studs and find something quite charming about the mix of mother of pearl and the edgier geometric angles in gold. These earrings feel super sturdy, heavy, and extremely well made, so I hope to be able to wear them for years to come. I ended up wearing them with a chunky sweater and leggings on an early morning grocery run, complete with a messy top knot and managed to feel quite chic and well accessorized, with minimal effort!

It looks like there are now little skincare items included in this subscription, which is really awesome! I recived three additional items.

        • mint and white tub of balm cleanser

          Erborian Solid Cleansing Oil, 0.28 oz – Estimated Value $3.90 (Buy a full-size 2.8 oz for $39.00)

I love cleansing oils and this is close to a soft balm texture. It also smells INCREDIBLE! The trick with most cleansing oils and balms is to apply it to a dry face, so it grabs onto all the dirt and makeup on your face and then rinse with warm water. A little went a long way with this stuff, which is great because I loved using it and want to make it last.

Erborian BB Shot Mask – Retail Value $8.00

Ok, I am beyond impressed by this mask. At first, I didn’t think it was very good. It had a thicker, creamy-like serum and the fit of the mask itself wasn’t very great. The real magic happened when I removed it. The serum settled into something super velvety and left my skin feeling like it was primed with some sort of magical unicorn primer. I enjoyed it so much I took the time to squeeze the rest out and smear it all over my neck!

            • CC cream sample in foil

Erborian CC Cream Radiance Color Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 25 in ‘Golden’ Sample, 0.05 oz – Estimated Value $1.47 (Buy a full-size 1.5 oz for $44.00)

While I liked the scent and color-changing formula of this CC cream, it was orange on my fair skin. I translated “dore” from French to English and discovered this was their “golden” shade. They do offer a fairer option, and I think it might be worth my time to visit Sephora and swatch it.

Verdict: I liked these earrings! I have been trying to buy less jewelry with better quality, and these are still really nice, though they aren’t “fine” jewelry. The styling is really in line with my look and I usually appreciate an oversized stud! I think what I enjoy about this subscription is that although the main piece is one element of jewelry, it feels like a total lifestyle box with the luxe packaging and aspirational magazine. The added addition of skincare samples makes it even better!

              To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the September box. The first piece you’ll receive is the piece of the month you were first charged for. So if you order before the 31st of the month you will receive your box between the 5th and the 15th of the following month.”

Value Breakdown: Each month you’re getting one piece of jewelry for $35. I couldn’t find these exact earrings on the Emma & Chloe site, but generally, they range from $32-$88, with most of the ones coming in boxes usually around the higher end of that estimate. We also received an estimated $13.37 in awesome Korean skincare samples.

              1. I liked this review, especially the part about the “magical unicorn primer.”

              2. Just want to point out this was August’s box and not September, so if you sign up now this won’t be your first box.
