Peel off masks are a no go for me. Maybe it’s just in my head, but I’ve always felt that if the mask is actually solidifying on my face, then what is my skin absorbing?? They never helped with pores for me either. I also don’t like the lottery of if they are gonna hurt like heck to peel off. Just my humble opinion. 🤷

This mask made my eyes water continuously for the whole time I had it on, even after it dried. It has a lot of alcohol to allow it to peel off.

Never ever liked charcoal masks for me .. I love hydration on my skin so I enjoy sheet masks, or disco kitty ( only peel off masks I’ll use ), and sleeping masks . Charcoal drys out my face :/ Hope spoilers get better 🙄 BF was my go to box for skincare and they were so great , like larger sizes and no water bottles etc.. like year ago .. just resub Last month I hope I won’t have to cancel again :/

I was about to cancel my subscription, but I logged into my account and found out that after my October box is processed, I will have $10 in rewards points, so I guess I can wait another month.

I have only been with BF since August. Aug was terrible, small product samples on super expensive products I can’t afford. September was better but a water bottle as a full size item is not why I subscribed to a beauty box. I have combo skin so I am excited to see this mask for October and I can afford it if I like it. (Amazon reviews are not promising though)

Head over to boxycharm! I love it. You will never have that problem.

All right, you’ve got my attention, Beauty Fix.

Melissa

Oh I love this mask! It isn’t too harsh for a peel off mask and leaves your skin baby soft. I just used up my last bottle last month so I am thrilled to get this!

Alice

Me, too!

Does anyone else have a giant box of masks that they don’t find the time to use? I keep wanting to resub to Beautyfix but I’m just not seeing what I need to get me to come back.

ShadowFaerie

😂 Oh, yeah, do I have a box of masks! Even after donating a massive amount of skincare (masks included) to an excellent “safe haven” for homeless and low income “at risk” women.
I kept all the stuff I thought I’ll get use out of and still have a full box.

Nina

Yes! I have shelves of them AND boxes of them. Clay, charcoal, sheet, gel, bubble, peel off, exfoliating, hydrating, illuminating, pore refining, soothing, purifying, plumping, retexturizing, firming 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s endless

Paula

Oh I have soooo many masks! I gift them to get rid of some!

Tamara

I’m glad they’re back to spoilers instead of releasing all at once. I love the anticipation 😃

I have dry, aging skin and won’t use this but I have 3 teenagers, and they will, so I’m still with October BUT I hope there’s something good for us dry skin folks too.

I think I still have one from the ulta black Friday sale last year.

“To remove oil from the skin”… And the next product they spoil will be a face oil.

😂😂 you probably just 💅 ‘d it!

Anyone with experience with this product? I haven’t used peel-off mask because I am a bit… scared with the word “peel-off”. I enjoyed PTR Irish Mud mask (rinse off type) and used up the sample from BeautyFix. I initially used it only on my T-zone, but I felt it was gentle enough that I used it for overall. It left my skin soft.

Use disco kitty , so gentle peel off mask and leaves skin so smooth 🙂 I’m not a fan off peel off either until I found this one in Ulta 👍

Kay

Hi Dot, thank you for the recommendation! I will look it up.

Kelly Crummer

I have this mask and LOVE IT for my combination skin. The key to less pain for this (or any peel off mask) is to layer it on THICK so that when it dries, you have something to hold on to to peel it off.

Kay

Hi Kelly, I have a combination skin with slightly oily T-zone, so I will give it a go if I get this box, depending on the rest of the items in the box. And I will remember to layer it thick!

Dawn

It is awful. I have dry skin and tried it in my t-zone ONCE. Never again. It would be better for oily, acne-prone skin. My 19 year old daughter won’t even try it.

Kay

Hi Dawn, I am so sorry to hear about your experience. I have combination skin with slightly only T-zone. My skin was a lot oilier before, but got to less oily as I aged. By reading some online review, I think this mask is more suitable for oily skin.

Annabella

I haven’t used this one, but have others. It depends on the product. Some are gentle, and do the work of a physical exfoliator which is necessary. And then there is Bliss The Real Peel, which felt like it was ripping my face off. I have dry skin and some peelers are not drying and others are – those I use on oily areas (nose, breakouts, forehead).

Kay

Annabella, I have the Bliss one and after reading MSA’s review, I got too scared to use it. Now at least I have learnt those 2 brands mentioned won’t work for me either. But this seems gentle, so I will try at least on my T-zone which is slightly oily.

Alice

My favorite box! Love Beautyfix!

Kirsten

Kay,
I have this product. I use it every now and then. I’m not the biggest fan of peel-off masks. It’s completely a matter of preference, and I urge you to try it (this one is especially good for combination-oily skin or acne prone skin). It’s not harsh on skin, but it is a purifying mask so it could get drying for some skin types. My tips: do not get this in your hairline or eyebrows & if you have a lot of peach fuzz, you may have spots where you’ll prefer to wash this mask off. Wash off any remnants, as well. Get a good peel with an even, thick (opaque) layer.
Good luck, I hope you enjoy it!

Kay

Hi Kristen, thank you so much for the info! I have a combination skin with slightly oily T-zone, so if the rest of the spoiler looks good and get the box, I will defiantly try it. And I will also watch out for the hairline, etc! Great advice.

Dot

Yeah good point Kirsten I had a headband on last time and some hot in my baby hairs – and I didn’t notice it hurt like a mutha to get it out 😂😂

It’s been quite a while since I’ve been a subscriber, but I did subscribe for a long time prior to canceling. I really hope BeautyFix can start with some really great boxes along the lines of when they included a microneedle roller or high-end brush and a few full-sized great products for skin care. Miss the greatness, so hoping for some good months ahead.

Same here dry skin…I hope this month is better…I have already skipped 3 months..

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

Not for this dry-skinned girl. Especially with the cold weather coming. Clay dries me out big time.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Same! I really can’t with clay, it almost always dries me out. I also don’t feel like peel off masks are very effective. I’ve used exactly one that I have been impressed with and it contained lactic acid, which is probably the ingredient that actually made a difference. I give all my peel offs to my husband, who finds that skin pulling feeling when you take it off to be satisfying.😆

Nat

Good start.

Michele

Loving it! Hopefully this will be a great box.

Annie

I was always told to be gentle with my face, so the only thing I can see happening with a peel-off mask is my face sagging sooner. Reality check, It’s going to happen anyway, but I don’t need to help it along by pulling and tugging at it with this stuff. Pass already, with this being full-sized.
