31 Bits Beaded Bracelet Duo in Bubblegum Pink and Cream – Retail Value $24.00

I have always rather liked the 31 Bits brand because it was always so creative to make gorgeous jewelry out of paper and it supports great causes. I also happen to be a big fan of small stacking bracelets, so these little ones were instant winners for me. I like that they included a neutral cream and a cute pink. These bracelets are lightweight and strung on an elastic string.

        Bellapierre Brow Powder, 2 g – Retail Value $15.00

I don’t ever use brow powder because I am messy and clumsy and I really don’t like powder all over my space. I exclusively use brow gel, so I was initially disappointed with this item. The brown color was really great though, and I did have a tube of clear brow gel that wasn’t getting much use so I decided to get creative. I dipped the spoolie brush head of my clear gel into this power and then added it back into its tube, mixing well. I then repeated until I decided the formula was dark enough for my brows and then applied as normal. It actually looked amazing! While I much would have preferred to not DIY a product straight out of a box, I am still happy to put this to use, especially since clear brow gels are something I get quite often as a sample.

        It is a great brown.

Bellapierre Brow Brush – Retail Value $13.00 (Listed Value $20.00)

This was a nice inclusion for the brow powder above, though since I don’t use powder, I was happy it could easily double as a liner brush. It worked really well, especially wet and in high-pigment shadows used as liners.

EvioSkin Rejuvenating Mask, 1.4 fl oz – Retail Value $22.00

I received a tube of this in my recent Bombay & Cedar box and I am pretty happy to have a second, especially since one of my friends fell in love with the formula too. This vegan and cruelty-free formula can be used as a mask or a moisturizer and has Cannabis Sativa seed oil along with other super moisturizing ingredients.

VIP Box Item: Bellapierre Mineral Blush in ‘Autumn Glow’, 10 g – Retail Value $50.00

Welp, this blush is orange. And not in a peachy, cute, fall-sort-of-way like I was hoping, at least not on my skin. Can I use just the tiniest bit and make it work? Sure! But I would never choose to make this orange blush work when I could choose from any of my other blushes that I love. I also think $50 is crazy for a blush. For perspective, you can buy Chanel, NARS, and so many other high-end brand blush formulas for less. On a positive note, this formula is smooth, highly pigmented, and made in the US.

Bronzer or blush? Neither for me, sadly.

Verdict: Love Goodly was not my favorite this time. I had to DIY the brow powder to find it useful in my routine and I just can’t make the blush work. The cream and the bracelets I both liked though, so this wasn’t a total wash. I think this box sold itself short by sending 3 out of 5 items from a brand that is notoriously commonplace in subscription boxes and seems to always have a retail value that makes me raise an eyebrow. The overall value of this VIP box is in the neighborhood of $124, which is still decent for a $48.95 box. I just personally wasn’t impressed at all.

              To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, as of publication, this box is still available!

(Also good to know – with each box and purchase, Love Goodly donates a portion of the proceeds to these charities).

Value Breakdown: At $48.95 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

              • 31 Bits Bracelets $9.47
              • Bellapierre Brow Powder $5.92
              • Bellapierre Brow/Liner Brush $5.13
              • EvioSkin Cream $8.68
              • Bellapierre Blush $19.74

Alternatively, each of the 5 items has an average cost of $9.79.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

              1. I’m very fair, and the blush isn’t orange on me. I just use a tiny bit and it gives me a nice glow. I never would try this if it didn’t come in a sub box, but I really like it. The mask is uncomfortably stingy to me though 🙁

              2. I agree with everyone here about Bellapierre, see it too often in sub boxes. Why?
I want new organic, cruelty free , clean beauty brands like LG usually has in their boxes.
The only Bellapierre product that I kind of liked and used was a small sample of their white translucent powder (forgot which box it was in).
I do love Love Goodly’s boxes for the most part, would like the other items but pass on this because of Bellapierre.

              3. Very sad to see so much Bellapierre. Not only is it overpriced & under performing but they use cheap ingredients & want to play with the big guys but are so far beneath that they’ll never catch up.

                • I agree. I’ve given quite a few of their products a try thanks to sub boxes and never been impressed by anything.

              4. Nothing of value to me here, easy pass. Shame, I used to enjoy this box. They used to have One Love Organics. Those were the days!

              5. This is a terrible box. Is anyone happy with this particular one?

              6. I didn’t realize Bellapierre had its own box.

              7. Yikes, that’s not a good box.

              8. I’ve subscribed to Love Goodly for several years, and this is by far the worst box I’ve ever received from them. There, unfortunately, is not a single item in the box that I’ll use, and to me Bellapierre is an overpriced and underperforming brand. I’ve typically been pretty happy with the sub…they’re one of the few I’ve held onto…so am really hoping that this was just a one-time “off” box, and not a downward trend.

              9. This was not an impressive box. I’d think the box would have a cost of $21-$29 to send the items they did.

              10. Worst box I have seen from them.

              11. Sorry but that blush looks like a really bad self tan. Oompha loompha all the way!
