Goddess Provisions "Voice Activation" Review

Here's the info card with the theme and product list for the month. The theme is "Voice Activation."

Let's dive in!

Flower of Life Singing Bowl  - Listed Value $33.00

I think sound bowls are pretty cool, though there is a little bit of a learning curve to get them going. What I got wrong the first time I used one of these was circling the striker around the inside of the bowl, when it should be done around the outside lip. Even if you aren't into sound therapy as such, you will still likely enjoy the relaxation and focus that comes from making the bowl sing.

Blue Flower Mantra Roll-On, 0.33 fl oz - Retail Value $24.00

I am always happy to see a roll-on inside a box. This one smells incredible! It is a blend of bergamot, orange, lavender, and vanilla. It did seem to fade a little faster than I was expecting, but I don't mind reapplying such a nice blend.

Medicina Pachamama Inner Voice Essence, 0.5 oz - Retail Value $12.00

This essence is a blend of different flowers and is easy to drop into your fave beverage or directly into your mouth. It didn't change the taste of my water but when I dropped it directly onto my tongue it reminded me of eating the nectar out of honeysuckle blossoms as a kid in the summer.

Little Bit of Mantras by Lily Cushman - Retail Value $9.95 (found here for $8.71)

This is a handy little book that is the perfect size to take to the park or class while you practice your yoga or meditation. It has a nice crash course about the benefits of mantras and how to use them, as well as different sections focused on mantras for peace, healing, clarity, and more.

742 Hz Tuning Fork - Listed Value $11.00

I didn't understand what this was at first but realized it was a tuning fork tuned to 741 Hz, which is associated with the throat chakra. The instructions guided me to ring it, hold it close to my throat and ears, and try to harmonize with it, which I did, though very poorly. I felt more than a little silly, but maybe this is one of those exercises that requires a more open mind and much more practice.

Angelite - Listed Value $4.00

This is one of my favorite stones for its dreamy light blue color alone. This little nugget has super subtle faceting which makes it catch the light beautifully. Just like it's dreamy color, this stone is known for its soothing properties.

The Verdict: Goddess Provisions is always a really fun subscription because the items chosen are very creative and follow a distinct theme. I thought there were some very cool items this month. I really enjoy singing bowls and I thought the kit included was high quality and beautiful. Both the roll-on and essence were very cool and I also thought the mantra book was a great inclusion in a box focused on finding your voice. I always love seeing the beautiful blue of angelite and though the tuning fork may be a bit beyond me, I had fun testing it out. The overall value this month lands somewhere around $93.95 which is good for a $33 box.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I had to pass on September’s box because I over spent on my Birthday. But, I have a drawer filled with Goddess Provisions stuff still in package, so think ill be fine skipping a month without dying. This is my only sub box. I enjoy it overall.

I love this box though this one excites me less than usual. I used to subscribe and usually have major FOMO with this box – none this month, though. The bowl looks cheap to me and everything else is just so-so. Nice crystal, though.
