FaceTory 7 Lux July 2019 Review

info sheet front info sheet back

This month, there was card that lists of all the masks in this month’s box, as well as a cute postcard.

Now on to the masks!

    Jeu’Demeure Mineral Mask – Listed Value $3.00

As expected from this mask’s aqua-themed packaging, it was very hydrating! It has a subtle clean scent, clear serum, and a well-fitting mask. It left my skin feeling very hydrated and refreshed, and the cooling effect of the serum was very much welcomed after a long afternoon of yard work.

    • cacti mask

      2 of 2

Yadah Daily Green Mask ‘Cactus’ – Listed Value $3.00

This mask was pretty average. I thought I might like it more than I did because of the cool cactus image on the front. It didn’t have much of a remarkable scent and I didn’t notice a huge difference in my skin other than the normal hydration I usually benefit from after most sheet masks.

      • coconut mask

        2 of 2

Ariul 7 Days Plus Mask Coconut – Retail Value $3.49

This subscription usually comes with at least one multi-step mask and this month ours is coconut themed. I don’t much like coconut products, but I was pleased that this one had a very subtle scent and the coconut smell was much more natural than “beachy.” It comes with an exfoliating pad you rub on your face before the sheet itself. I liked this more than I thought and my skin looked great after I peeled the mask off.

        • blue mask

          2 of 2

Elmolu White Silk-Up Bubble Essence Mask – Listed Value $5.50

I absolutely LOVE a bubble mask! They are so gross and fun. This one didn’t bubble up as much as the last one I tried, but I still enjoyed the bubbling, pore cleansing action.

          • kitty cat mask!

            2 of 2

17VDerma Pibuwang Mask ‘Rest’ – Retail Value $3.50

This was the first mask I reached for because look at that cute calico kitten!! This mask was super soothing and the serum felt extra velvety on my face. The mask itself fit really well, and my skin was very soft and dewy when I peeled it off.

            • yellow mask

              1 of 2

            • back of packaging

              2 of 2

Miss Yong Curry Silk Mask – Retail Value $5.00

This might be my favorite sheet mask ever. The serum felt extra thick and decadent and had this incredible herbal smell that I loved immediately. The silk mask fit like a dream and clung to my face without any shifting. I was actually sad to pull this one off! My face was practically beaming after I finished petting in the excess serum.

              • ginseng mask

                1 of 2

              • back of packaging

                2 of 2

Lyajin Fermented Red Ginseng Moisturizing Sheet – Listed Value $3.00

This was another winner for me. I love the slightly earthy scent of ginseng and my skin really likes it too. I always look less red after a ginseng mask and my skin is always really soft. This one fit well and had plenty of clear serum.

Verdict: FaceTory was really fun this month. While a few of the masks were just ok, there were some that were just stellar! I loved the yellow silk mask the most, but the ginseng and the kitty mask were close seconds. This month, I received an estimated $26.49 worth of sheet masks for $19.90, including free shipping. FaceTory continues to be my favorite sheet mask subscription, and my face can’t wait until next month!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

                1. Hi all, if you’re on the fence on this, they currently have a very tempting promo for a free mini fridge to store your skincare in if you subscribe to the 7lux annual: STAYCOOL. I’m having a very hard time keeping my wallet shut considering I a.) have too many masks to even fit in the fridge and b.) already have a mini fridge. The thought of having a mini fridge dedicated solely to skin care that I didn’t have to pay for is super tempting to me.

                2. Thanks for the review! It was great to know this is your fave sheet mask sub because I’ve been debating which one to go with. Just started my K beauty journey and I’m in LOVE. The acne medicine I’m on right now really dries out my skin so these masks have been a lifesaver! I used code LOVEFOUR to get 4 free masks with my first purchase!

                  • You are welcome Jacqui! This is def my choice for fave mask sub. It is always consistently good, customer service has been helpful, and the box is super cute. Enjoy! <3
