  3. I just sent an e-mail to cancel after I signed up first time with this deal. I was excited about the serum but apparently nobody received it except influensters. I’m in Norway now and I will be not back till mid Sept. So I dont know if my August box includes double fake lashes or shimmery eyeshadows 🙁 I’ve been waiting to upgrade to Boxyluxe but I’ve received an e-mail stating that Boxyluxe members before August 14th is able to customize an item. And I’ve been on the waitlist. So I guess I will be not upgraded till that time too. I hardly use make up, I love skincare. I guess I dont have any luck with Boxycharm.

  4. I haven’t received my box yet (tracking says it’s on the way). Boxy just emailed me that they did not include the item I selected for August – the serum- but, that they will send it separately. They told me to keep the mistaken item.

    At least they are trying to fix their system, so I certainly appreciate that.

    I hope others get what they requested 🙂

  5. I got the pallet and brushes inside my July box yesterday. The shadows are shimmery, which always looks clownish on me. I’m bummed, because they are gorgeous. My sister is thrilled. The brushes feel like amazing quality. They are so soft and lovely! I’m happy to be back to boxycharm. I took over a year off and I’m ready for some makeup again!

  6. Do the gifts usually ship separately or with the first box?

    I got my shipping confirmation for the August box quickly (within 2 days) and it will be here Monday. Shipping weight is 0.9 lbs and the email says “August subscription box with free gifts”.

    I’m assuming it’s already in the box but wondering how it usually works since it’s my first time subbing with boxy

    • The gift shops separately. It won’t be in the same box as your August box.

    • Mine shipped with my August box. I received it this past Friday. I wonder if it depends on the size of the gift and if it will fit in the box with everything else.

  7. I got the primer gift as a returning subscriber. A couple days later it showed up before the July box even shipped. A few days later the Glamglow mask showed up. Now today another primer showed up. Boxycharm told me to keep them. Good thing I absolutely love the primer. In my opinion Glamglow is extremely overrated.

    • They are definitely having duplication issues though. It’s like their system keeps sending me stuff. I didn’t even want the mask. Boxycharm did say they had fixed it so we’ll see how many more gifts they send lol

  8. I love these Luxie brushes but not enough for me to come back. Too many highlighters imo and I hate that there’s no customization since I always seem to get the palette or blush that’s too dark for me.

    I’m really loving IGBP since they seem to have the customization part down pat.

  9. I used a different email to create an account to get the Glam Glow mask. I just used my original email address and account to try to get the palette and brushes but no confirmation that I qualified. I was last subscribed in June and canceled that month. Now I have no confirmation that I qualified

    • So I emailed Boxy and they got back to me right away. They said I am getting the products! They have stepped up their game with customer service reply time. Yeah Boxy!

  11. WOW – this is so annoying to me lol. I JUST subscribed to a Boxycharm on July 20th. I looked everywhere for coupons and didn’t see one so I gave up. I was hoping my first box would be the August box because I didn’t like the natural box – nope! Got and paid for the July box. Now they’re doing this coupon. Das annoying lol.

    • They had another coupon in July for a Glamglow INSTAMUD Mask it was ‘Boxyperks’, maybe contact them and they might still send it to you.

  12. I’m a returning subscriber and I got the primer within days before my July box even shipped. Today the Glamglow mask showed up even though I didn’t use the code for it. Boxycharm told me to go ahead and keep it.

  13. Well I resubscribed I wanted that palette but told myself I didn’t need it in July. Then was sad – tried to swap for it but nope. So I see this as a sign. I’m back in for at least another month.

  15. In the sign up page it asks for a code, what is the code? Or I don’t have to enter anything and they’ll still send me the new member gifts? I don’t want to risk it, none of the August spoilers look good to me but that butter London palette looks so beautiful!!! Can someone tell me what the code is please? Thank you!

  18. I think it would be nice if they sent these out to loyal and faithful customers.

    • I find it funny people are complaining that they aren’t sending the same products we got last month to loyal customers. You already have these. Plus, how else is a business supposed to draw in new customers or get old ones to resubscribe. Loyal customers do reviews on the site and get rewarded by using charms in the charm room.

  19. I signed up with the glam glow promo and received the promo item before my first box.

    • I did also. Although it shipped, it has been stuck with USPS in transit with no new updates since 7/24. Boxy told me to go to USPS about it. Finally they agreed to resend me the mask as a one time replacement. So in the future if my box is lost or stolen they will not replace it? No thanks, not worth the aggravation! I will stick with Ipsy Glam Bag Plus in the future.

  20. I might actually take this bait if I thought Boxy would send the extras. Given what I have seen people say about how Boxy handles (or doesn’t handle) customers who recieve damaged products, have missing products, etc., I don’t trust their follow through. It’s exactly what keeps me from subbing to them to begin with. I would love to sub to Boxy, I just don’t trust them.

    • I received an eye pallet that was damaged around the end of last year … only one of the shadows broke… but it was the color I would have used most… and I just took a pic of the pallet beside my shipping label on my box and sent it to customer care and they shipped a new pallet at the same time they shipped my next months box. I’ve never had any trouble with customer service with boxycharm 🙂

      • Well that’s good to know. Maybe I’ll have to reconsider. Boxy’s curation has been really tempting me lately.

      • I’m glad, I love their box. Sometimes it hard to read so many neg reviews… I’m a patient person and I don’t mind waiting for my items especially with a company that I have been with for so long. When I email customer service I try to only send one email and wait for a response.. many times if you send multiple emails it will move ALL your emails to the end of the list so that when they read it they have the most recent email from that specific email address… Also in their FAQ section they have very specific directions on what to do if you don’t receive something or if something is damaged. Just make sure to follow their directions exact In your first email and they will make if right sooo much quicker… then be patient bc they usually send replacements with the next box and if it doesn’t fit in the next box they will ship it just before or just after the next box ships. I hope this helps in your decisions 🙂

      • I got my free gift last month(glamglow mask in a yellow box) two weeks after I ordered the box so I do think they are on top of the gwp unlike allure 🙄

    • I signed up with the free IT cream in May because I wanted the June luxe and they sent the promo right away, within a few days of signing up. Boxy has consistently been the first box I get each month, they send it to me via FedEx and it comes right away. No, sitting around in limbo at DHL, no disappearing tracking, no funny business whatsoever. I also purchased the Coola during the popup sale and my product wasn’t expired, but they credited me the charge (I got a notification from my cc company yesterday) and I have been very happy. I just wished I could have purchased more at the pop up but I don’t really need it. 🤣

      • I’ve never had a problem with Boxy! Received my new member bum bum cream last year, never a shipping issue, had a cracked pallet and
        They sent me a replacement in my next box, boxy pop up items arrived super quick too! I honestly wouldn’t let a couple neg reviews detour you, this is really a great box.

    • My hairdryer was broke in the boxyluxe, and they sent me out another one right away!

  21. Why would I want a palette from the July box that I cancelled? Scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

    • I believe this is for accounts that cancelled before July, but if it doesn’t interest you then you just don’t resub. Some people might like think it enticing. 🤷‍♀️
