I am beyond happy!
I ordered this summer box with MSA code on the 1st of August, and received my box today. I cancelled the subscription the same day I placed the order, so there is no problem of cancelling it. What I wanna say is the moment I opened the box, and tried everything they offered, what an amazing quality of the product. I mean, you would love every single item, premier quality if you really like fashion.
I am so excited to take those items to my upcoming HAWAII holiday!

DO NOT ORDER WITH CODE NOW!

I was able to add the code and check out just a short while ago. It took off the $50, or I wouldn’t have placed the order. But when I looked at my confirmation email it was $99.99. No discount.
I have chatted with customer service and they said it ended at midnight. I am being refunded, but will take 3-7 days. I’m on a tight budget so having double taken out of my account is a pretty big deal.

It’s a flash sale. So it was only good for that day. I’m sure it was posted as soon as it was discovered. It was on here early yesterday. MSA did everything the could as far as alerting us of such a special. So you can’t fault them.

But I do understand the sadness felt when missing out. It always stings when you find out about a deal too late.. we all wanna get those same blessings. I’m sure they’ll have another deal for their future boxes. We just have to be on the look out.

Also want to add that CS stated that they had tried to get the code to work this morning and couldn’t so I believe I fell through the cracks somehow (fairly typical for me! So I’m used to it and there’s no reason to get mad, yes it gets frustrating sometimes)

I hope with my post and with CS stating that the code shouldn’t be working anymore, that no one else has it happen to them. CS said they pushed my refund through and said it was up to my bank on how fast I get my $ back so I feel they did their very best to make things right.

I ordered from Gilt when it was $70, received two towels and the duster. My box shipped fast for BOS and I was able to cancel online. If they continue to actually ship boxes on time, I may resubscribe (again)

Great deal. Thinking of a second box just for the sunscreen and brow gel and maybe a different color earrings if available. HOWEVER, this put the nail in my annual subscription coffin! That is completely not worth it. I feel like I’ve been played. Summer was my last box, so I’m cancelling tonight. There was no annual subscription gift, and why should I pay more?

I am proud that I fought the urge to buy this at $50… I got all the way to enter my credit card and hit the back button. I love that towel, but we don’t have a pool and it is too heavy to go on my luggage on vacay. I will never use the bag. I have plenty of sunscreen. The duster would not fit. I don’t wear earrings… the brow gel would be the only thing I would use, and I already have Anastasia, Glossier and NYX Clear Brow Gel. Yea me! I just talked myself out of the buying tree again! No job means no sub boxes… Priorities.

I had liked the look of this box but after what had happened with the winter box and, them never having made it right, I still felt pretty burnt. Then this deal popped up and it is a great deal.

I decided to take a shot at reaching out to their customer service via chat. I explained briefly what had happened and asked if it would be possible to get a second towel in lieu of the Beauty Bundle I never received. My cs agent was really nice from the beginning and acknowledged what had happened and apologized straight away. She also said that I should have been refunded for my box in January (interesting). I replied that I had not. She checked and saw in fact that I had not been refunded, apologized again and said she would be more than happy to send out a second towel with my order. She let me know I would not see the second towel in my email/shipping confirmation because she had to manually add on the 2nd towel after I placed my order.

Fingers crossed everything goes well but I finally feel much better and that things were made right. Maybe this helps anyone still out there who never got a redress. And hopefully, this is representative of better customer service from BOS on the whole.

I bought one already at 30% off. I’m thinking of getting an extra box just for the towel, earrings, and sunscreen. The towel is huge and luxe and would be nice to have a matching set, the sunscreen feels awesome and the earrings are cute, hopefully I can get the other color. The purse is very high quality, not my style but should make a great gift. Anyway gonna try if they let me, lol.

Update, I got another. I didn’t need to make a new account. Worth it for the 3 items I wanted -the rest is extra, already had the duster from a previous box. Very nice quality but hubby made me get rid of it, he HATED it.

The only thing I want is the towel. My brain knows I wouldn’t pay $50 for a towel. My brain also knows that I have tons of stuff tucked away and haven’t swapped in months. And still, my brain is saying “Get it!!! The towel is so cute and you can swap the other items! It’s suuuuch a great deal for a $200 towel how could you not get it?!” Stupid brain. :/

Nope. Still haven’t. Honestly I probably would have jumped on it right away if add-ons weren’t open right now (or if I had seen the two towel guilt deal). It would’ve been harder to talk myself out of if I wanted anything else other than just the towel.

I also got this box just for the towel. I got the $70 Gilt deal because it came with 2 towels. If you only want one, $50 is a great deal. Everything is great quality and anything you can’t use makes great gifts or you can always trade or sell!

I think this is just their M.O. now. They always have some boxes left over at the end of the season and they put them out for 50% off, either with a code for former subscribers or through the blogs like MSA. I’m not complaining. This is one of my favorite subs but I will never pay full price for it.

So I did the Gilt deal a few weeks back, and received my items but on my membership screen it says “no orders”, does this mean that I don’t have a subscription? What does everyone else screen look like? Also, it looks like I can get this box with the $50 discount as well.

I bought the Gilt deal as well and see the same thing. However, I cancelled my membership, and when I click on “Membership & Perks”, I’m prompted to select either the quarterly or annual option. I take this to mean that my subscription is no longer active. Redeeming the Gilt voucher started a subscription, and unless you cancelled, you should probably assume that your subscription is currently active and you’ll be charged on the next bill date unless you cancel before then.

That’s where I am confused: I thought I had started a subscription with the Gilt purchase but when I went in with the intention to cancel, the “Membership & Perks” tab prompted me to select quarterly or annual and my order history showed no orders. I’ll just start a chat with them to confirm that I truly am cancelled to be safe.

I feel bad for all those who pay full price for BOS. All you have to do is wait as they always go on sale for a deep discount.
I personally wait for full spoilers and a discount before I buy then cancel right after the funds are taken from my account as I only like 1 box in maybe 5. This one for me was an easy pass but I can see how someone with more of a boho aesthetic would like it.

I have to say, that in December I hated BOS and said i would never ever purchase from them again. I even had to file a dispute with my CC after they didn’t send me half my purchase for the winter box.

When the spoilers for summer came out, I really liked them and took a chance and ordered it at $75. once I got my box, went to their updated website, and was able to cancel RIGHT THEN AND THERE! No emails, no waiting, no mess. And I took a screenshot to be safe.

I am glad they listened to their customers and added this as an option because a big part of the problem was in order to cancel you had to send an email, then wait for a response which never came! I think they are listening and trying to improve. Only wish I could have gotten this box for $50 with the duster
