Quirky Crate June 2019 Review
Quirky Crate samples one item from a featured artist or brand each month; this month’s special find comes from Erin Ozer, the founder of Knot and Bow. This info card gives you a little background on Erin and her company as well as some social media tags for them.
On the flipside, Quirky Crate includes an itemized list of each product and its value. This month’s theme is like a birthday party in a box!
Time to get quirky!!
Coconut Cross-Body – Listed Value $35
The sparkles, the mini umbrella, the straw — if I wasn’t pregnant, I might have to make myself a pina colada! The silver and gold accents are really giving me disco by the pool vibes, and that’s exactly the vibe I am always going for! The straw doesn’t actually go through the purse, and it seems like it is set firmly in place, so no need to worry about losing it. The chain straps are also removable to make this an ultra-cute clutch to tow your essentials. My iPhone Xs Max doesn’t fit in there, which is a bummer, but Ryan’s iPhone 7 fits just fine. I love this fun summer accessory!
Rocket Pop Glitter Enamel Pin – Listed Value $10
Another super summery and mouth-watering find! I haven’t had a bomb pop in years, but today would have been a great day for it. Classic red, white and blue infused with glitter and gold accents — what’s not to love about this 2-inch pin? Quirky Crate offers such adorable pins, and this is my favorite, yet!
Balloon Socks – Listed Value $8
What a perfect way to celebrate Quirky Crate’s 2nd birthday with these adorable balloons and confetti socks! Soft and breathable, this pair ran a little bigger than what I am used to wearing, but I’m sure after a wash or two they will fit perfectly (if my boyfriend doesn’t steal them!).
Ice Cream Cone XL Patch – Retail Value $10
I’ve never had a patch made up of sequins before–be still my heart! This 8-inch gleaming beauty is super eye-catching, and it is a simple iron-on, too! For extra security, the instructions say that you can sew this patch on, too, but hopefully, that won’t be necessary. I feel this is a patch that can be worn at any age, but I am also 30, unapologetically sporting glitter on my eyelids every day. I am loving the food-oriented items this month; however, this mama is seriously getting hungry.
Knot and Bow Gift Wrap Sheets – Listed Value $6
Once again, hunger pangs! I am weak for soft pretzels, and being a stationery addict, this is a match made in heaven. It is incredibly handy to have a neat stash of backup wrapping paper in a pinch, and this small pack will give your present its own unique presence! Each pack comes with 3 sheets which measure 22″x30″.
This phone pocket is a great example of how phone pockets should look and feel. I’ve been looking for one that wasn’t too tight, yet sticks firmly to the phone, and this one fits the bill perfectly. And who doesn’t love that glitter!?
Rock Star Sunnies – Listed Value $18
Ever since I had Lasik in 2012, I’ve been the Queen of Sunnies. I love all sunglasses, and in my opinion, the bigger the better! I love outrageous styles, colors and designs, so these fit right in with my collection.
The Verdict: Quirky Crate’s birthday celebration box brought the party straight to my door! I loved all of the items in this box; it was definitely my favorite, yet! The listed retail value of this box adds up to $97, over double the amount of the subscription cost of $34.99 + $6.50 shipping. I think it is worth every penny if you are a quirky girl needing some fun, colorful accessories!
