This month, we also got a few samples.

Pink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - A’Pieu Naked PHA Peeling Gel Front

A’Pieu Naked PHA Peeling Gel, 100 mL – Retail Value $10

I love A’Pieu, but I am not a big fan of peeling gels. This one was mild and non-irritating, and I thought the ingredients list was decent too.

Pink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - From Nature Red Ginseng All-In-One Cream Box FrontPink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - From Nature Red Ginseng All-In-One Cream FrontPink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - From Nature Red Ginseng All-In-One Cream Top

From Nature Red Ginseng All-In-One Cream, 100 g - Full Size! Retail Value $35

After I tried out the peeling gel I followed up with this rich cream. Along with red ginseng, this also has seven herbal extracts to treat damaged skin while providing nutrients for your moisture barrier. I think this is pretty heavy to use during the morning, but I was happy with its performance as a night cream.

Pink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - A’Pieu Everyday Sun Gel Front

A’Pieu Everyday Sun Gel, 30ml – Retail Value $14.95

Along with SPF 50, this provides protection against UVA/UVB rays and it's made with the extracts of 10 different fruits. It has a slightly tropical scent to the traditional sunscreen scent, but it rubs in easily and felt lightweight on my skin. I have been using this every morning since receiving it, and I am happy with how it performs under my BB cream, too.

Pink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - Duft & Dote Hand Cream in Coral Passion Front

Duft & Dote Hand Cream in Coral Passion, 1.8 fl oz – Retail Value $10

Pink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - Duft & Dote Hand Cream in Stockholm Rose Front

Duft & Dote Hand Cream in Stockholm Rose, 1.8 fl oz – Retail Value $10

Is it just me, or does it feel like overkill to have received two hand creams in one box? These were pretty nourishing thanks to the shea butter, aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants, but they are both pretty heavily scented so I would skip these if you are sensitive to fragranced hand creams.

Pink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - From Nature Biosystem Embossing Cotton Pads 1 TopPink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - From Nature Biosystem Embossing Cotton Pads 2 Top

From Nature Biosystem Embossing Cotton Puffs – Retail Value $5

These may be basic, but wow do I hate paying for things like cotton pads, so I am always happy to see functional items like this in subscription boxes. They are 100% cotton with embossed sides, and they’re soft.

Pink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - G9 Skin Self Aesthetic Water-Full Facial Mask Top

G9 Skin Self Aesthetic Water-Full Facial Mask – Retail Value $4

This mask fit my face really well and was cooling the entire time I wore it. This has nine different herbal extracts to soothe stressed skin, and I would say my skin looked and felt calmer after wearing.

Pink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - G9 Skin Slice Sheet Mask in Peach Top

G9 Skin Slice Sheet Mask in Peach – Retail Value $3

You’ll probably either love or hate slice sheet masks, but I like using them under regular sheet masks to layer the hydration and add some targeted benefits. The peach slices look like peaches, smell like peaches, and come in a resealable pouch so you don’t have to use all the slices at once.

Pink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - G9 Skin Milk Bomb Mask in Chocolate Top

G9 Skin Milk Bomb Mask in Chocolate – Retail Value $4

This isn't a new mask for me, but I am always happy to get more milk bomb masks- they're cooling, nourishing, and fun. I like that they're well-saturated without dripping everywhere, and this one smells like chocolate milk.

Pink Seoul Plus Box May June 2019 Review - Goodal Tea Tree Water Infused Mask Top

Goodal Tea Tree Water Infused Mask – Retail Value $3

Goodal sheet masks appear frequently throughout these subscriptions, and I appreciate how affordable they are. This is a basic one with tea tree extract, but my skin enjoyed it and that’s really all I can ask for.

The Verdict: I enjoyed this box from PinkSeoul, even though it was a bit weird to receive two hand creams- I would have liked to see a different product substituted for the second one. I will note that all of the masks in this box I have tried previously through PinkSeoul, but I think they came in the mask version rather than the bi-monthly box. Value-wise, I calculated a total value of $98.95, which I think is pretty great.

Got the huge Plus box yesterday. Not my style of K- beauty. There’s only so much aloe vera products a person needs…

Went to their site to cancel, I keep getting the message that my log in isn’t valid.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I emailed them to cancel my subscription but I have NO idea if they received the email, if they will cancel it or not.

If someone reading this hasn’t yet subscribed, I think I’d hold off as they seem to be making it very hard for people to sign in to their accounts and change anything or cancel.

I’m slightly miffed.

I’ve put my subscription on hold several times without any ussues. I’ve also emailed them before and got a response within a day or so. I’ve been subscribed for about a year and haven’t had any issues with them. Good luck! 🤞🏼

Is this box customizable? I don’t care for sheet masks, but love regular old masks. Do they take in any info about preferences?

When you subscribe, the box does let you choose your skin type, color, and what you’re focused on (I can’t recall the options but I think it was makeup, skincare, or just want to have fun & experiment). They do seem to mostly curate the boxes based on skin type with some overlap in each box for the different skin types, however they always include a couple of sheet masks.

Can you state your preferences when signing up? I don’t care for sheet masks, but love regular old masks. I’d much rather have one full size item for four sheet masks. I think this this is why I don’t subscribe to K beauty boxes is because of too many sheet masks. And I love K beauty. I lived in S. Korea for a year long ago and miss their beauty, stationary and makeup

I love k beauty too. I just don’t see value in sheet make. I think they’re messy. I always want to try a k beauty box. But they revolve around sheet mask a lot of the time. My favorite one I’ve tried is joah box. Incase you wanted to try one. No sheet mask, that I got.

I remember getting two hand creams in a k-beauty at one time too. I can’t recall if it was Beauteque or Pink Seoul. I agree that a different product would have been nice to try, and if they really wanted subscribers to have both hand creams, maybe hold the other one until the following box or a few boxes later.
