The mini magazine includes a note from the editor, opportunities to win free boxes, a list of all the items included in this month’s box and TheraBox FAQs. I love that TheraBox provides a description of each product, a link to the product’s website, the cost of the item and a coupon code if available.

The interactive activities, reflection prompts and advice helps us conquer self-doubt and self-sabotage, build self-love and transform our attitudes, emotions and overall outlook on life.
I love the topic of self-care, journaling, and workbooks so I was super excited to dive into the self-love workbook. There are 8 chapters: self-love, self-awareness, self-exploration, self-care, self-esteem, self-kindness, self-respect, and self-growth. I already know that I'm going to struggle with self-awareness and self-kindness but I'm excited to open up and embark of this self-expedition.

This beautiful and minimalist triangular necklace is made with 304 stainless steel and is gold plated. The triangle represents a balance between the spirit, mind, and body. Balance is key and the lack of it causes stress. Wear this chic necklace as a reminder to maintain balance for good mental health.
I like everything about this necklace from the packaging, to the chic minimalist design, and to the purpose and intent. It's understated but beautiful in its simplicity. This is my new favorite necklace.
Naturally Vain Miracle Eye Cream, 2 oz – Estimated Value $15 (similar item found here for $15)
Imported from Canada, this miracle eye cream promises to reduce puffiness and dark circles while hydrating and brightening your skin. This eye cream is handcrafted, 100% natural, and packed with marigold extract which has anti-inflammatory properties.
This eye cream is thicker than I expected - more like a lotion or moisturizer than an eye cream. It took a bit of rubbing and tapping to get it fully absorbed. But once soaked in, my eyes felt refreshed and were visibly more hydrated.
Story of My Tea, I Am a Gypsy, 6 pack – Retail Value $9.99 (found here for $7.99)
This refreshingly exotic tea is a blend of Egyptian hibiscus with hints of peppermint, chamomile, lavender, and licorice. It's caffeine-free and comes in perfectly portioned tea bags to make cold brew – 1 quart at a time.
I'm a big fan of cold brewed coffee and teas. I happily pulled out my glass Teavana tea infuser, dropped in two tea bags (only one is needed but I like my tea strong like my coffee) and let the tea steep overnight in cold water. The tea turned a pretty red and taste delicious, light and refreshing. None of the flavors are overpowering the others. It’s a great summer blend.
Edgewater Candles, Wood Sage Sea Salt, 6 oz Travel Tin – Retail Value $14.00
These all-natural soy candles are made in small batches and hand poured in reusable tins. Edgewater Candles is known for their unique scent palettes like this wood sage and sea salt scent.
This travel tin is intended for use in small spaces and my home is an open concept with high ceilings. I could only smell this candle faintly but enjoyed the musky and almost woodsy scent. I'm traveling in a few weeks and plan to pack this candle with me to get the full effect.
Modern Skyn Alchemy Rose Lip Polish, 1 oz – Retail Value $12.00
With all organic ingredients and moisturizing vitamin E, this rose petal infused lip polish promises to gently exfoliate away dead skin cells, boost circulation and promote collagen production. The result is lips that are smooth, soft and supple.
I have enjoyed just about every product I've tried from Modern Skyn Alchemy. I love this brand and that it's all organic, handcrafted and made in small patches. I've tried a number of lip scrubs and settled on making my own. I find that they are either too wet and the sugar vanishes before I can get a good exfoliating effect or too dry and thus rough and irritating. I found this scrub to be the latter. It does, however, smell great and after adding a bit of coconut oil, I was able to get a good scrub that left my lips soft and pink.
Elements of Aliel I’m Beet Face Mask, 1.5 oz – Retail Value $22.00
This vegan, organic, paraben and cruelty-free face mask promises to leave your skin brighter and cleaner, free from impurities and visibly more tone and firm. An abundance of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants along with natural ingredients like bentonite and Moroccan red clay detoxifies and energizes your skin leaving it pretty and pampered.
I recently got a bad sunburn and my skin is recovering and healing. I like using clay masks when my skin is oily in the late summer months but since my skin is currently dry and irritated, I used this mask sparingly and for less time than recommended. I found that it mixed well, smells great and was actually soothing initially. Since the mask promises to reduce the appearance of sun damage, I plan to use this clay mask carefully throughout the next few weeks to help heal my skin.
The Happy Shoppe Diamond Laser Cut Heart Pen – Retail Value $15.00
How pretty is this rose gold laser-cut diamond heart top pen? I love the quote on the box as a daily reminder to start each day with a grateful heart and the writing on the pen that says, “choose joy”. This pen has a good weight and black ink that rolls on nice and smooth. I also like how the pin is feminine in design but not too girly. It pairs perfectly with the self-love workbook included in this month’s box.
The Verdict: This month’s “Anniversary” box from TheraBox is fantastic! It contains a wide variety of products that promote self-love and self-care. I’m really enjoying the self-love workbook by Dr. Shainna and the elegant heart top pen. My favorite item this month is the balance necklace. I can’t put in words how much I love this necklace!
Compared to the previous month's box, this month's box has one less item and a somewhat lower estimated retail value but is equally amazing with a great mix of self-care products. This month's estimated retail value is $128.94 making this box a really great deal considering the $39.98 price ($34.99 + $4.99 shipping). That is more than 3x the price!
