Mountain Air, 4 oz – Retail Value $5.95
This soap really smells like fresh mountain air, and I am in love with it. The scent is a blend of spearmint, orange, and fir (a great unisex fragrance), and it is made with Irish Moss that acts as a gentle exfoliant. One good thing about these soaps is that they don’t dissolve quickly in the shower--I store them out of the direct shower stream and they last for a while!
Morning Mist, 4 oz – Retail Value $5.95
This was my favorite scent in the box, but it was a tough competition. It is scented with spearmint (one of my all-time favorite scents), and along with olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter, this is also made with French Green Clay. This didn't leave my skin feeling tight, but I definitely felt clean. This has been my go-to soap when I am showering after the gym.
Blue Indigo Silk Bar, 4 oz – Retail Value $5.95
This soap is unique in that it is made from cruelty-free Tussah Silk, which is harvested after the silkworms have left their cocoon! This is also made with the same olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter base, and the blue indigo is known for having anti-inflammatory properties. The scent is a zesty lavender lemon.
Lavender Essential Oil Roller, 10 mL – Retail Value $11.50
My biggest complaint with the previous box is that the value felt a little light, so I was happy to see this essential oil roller as the spa item this month. It smells exactly like fresh, herbaceous lavender, and I keep it in my gym bag to apply to my pulse points before doing yoga.
Verdict: I thought this month's Sudsy Club box was a big improvement over last month! While the quality of the soap is undeniable, the addition of the essential oil roller really made this box feel like it was bringing luxury into my apartment. I am also happy that the $29.35 box value exceeded the $25.00 cost of the box. If you like luxury soaps, this is a box you should keep your eye on.
