Sprezzabox “The Chambers” May 2019 Review

Our box came with several inserts this month. One of the cards introduced our theme of “The Chambers” and detailed the items inside.

They also included a coupon for 20% off at Spier & MacKay and $10 off at Basic Man.

Blue Gingham Tie – Listed Value $35.00

This blue gingham tie is by Spier & Mackay and my husband was a big fan! The quality is great and I think this is a pattern that could easily work for a dress shirt or for a more casual weekend look. It is 100% cotton and I see my husband getting a lot of use out of this one!

Sprezza Socks – Listed Value $12.00

Our socks this month are a blend of cotton, polyester, acrylic, rubber, and spandex and at first glance, I thought they looked a bit wide, but once they were on, I could see that the fit was fine!

The denim blue with the pale yellow stripes will be a great combination for work for my husband and he found them to be breathable and comfortable.

Kiko Leather Passport Holder – Listed Value $35

Our next item is this passport holder from Kiko Leather. The quality is decent and the black leather gives it a nice sleek look. On the info card, “animal-friendly leather” is noted, but the material feels and smells like leather. While my husband doesn’t ever leave the country for work, he does have a lot of conferences that he needs to attend so I can imagine this would be a nice way to keep his business cards organized while traveling! It also might be a good excuse to book a trip somewhere together…

Weekend Casual Luggage Tag – Listed Value $15.00

The next item goes well with the passport, although it is not coordinating, but that’s okay because my husband and I both like the navy blue color and I especially like the gold details. My husband does travel within the country a bit, so he can definitely use this to identify his luggage next time.

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream (17ml) – Retail Value $6.95

The last item in our box is this moisturizing skin cream. My husband does not really use lotions or creams since he is not prone to dry skin like I am, but I will happily use this little tube! It has a bit of a medicinal smell from the camphor and while it left my hands a bit greasy, it still absorbed pretty well and also made them feel hydrated and soft. I’ll use this as a bedtime hand cream or for dryer areas like my elbows!

Verdict: This was our first SprezzaBox and I thought it was a pretty great mix of items that were pretty neutral for incorporating into almost any man’s accessory stash. My husband really loved the tie and he can always use a new pair of socks. The passport holder and luggage tag were nice items that he wouldn’t necessarily go out and buy for himself, but are definitely nice to have! The lotion is probably the only item he wasn’t too crazy about, but I’m happy to take that one off his hands (literally?). This box has a listed value of $103.95 which is great for a $30 ($28 + $2 shipping) box!
