Norlii is a bi-monthly home subscription box filled with Scandinavian home decor and accessories. I always marvel at the great curation of the best brands from minimal brands like Normann Copenhagen and others. There's always a great balance of form and function in this $69.95 (+ shipping) subscription.

Norlii Scandinavian Home and Lifestyle Box June Review

You'll get an info sheet with each box that talks about the theme. This month is focused on Tivoli, a beloved 175+-year-old amusement park in Copenhagen, Denmark. The other side of the sheet describes each of the four items and how they are connected to the theme. Two of the items come from a collection by Normann Copenhagen that celebrates the park.

Tivoli by Normann Copenhagen Medium Peacock Tray - Retail Value $55.00

The first item is perhaps my favorite of the box! This brass-coated steel tray is inspired by the peacocks of Tivoli with its teardrop shape that also resembles the bird's plumage. I've been meaning to get a tray for my vintage coffee table to protect the wood and organize items like remotes and coasters, so this is the perfect thing! Its sleek design caters to the minimal aesthetic of my home while breaking up all the dark brown wood of the coffee table. It measures 1.5 x W: 30.5 x L: 22 cm and fits everything I need it to perfection. It can also be used to transport snacks or to enjoy them on a stable surface when in bed. I simply love this.

Tivoli by Normann Copenhagen Tea Towels, Set of 2 - Retail Value $35.00

Next, we have the second item from the Tivoli collection which is a set of two beautiful tea towels inspired by the side-striped pants of the Tivoli guards. Made with 100% cotton in India, these towels are hardy enough to dry dishes and hands as well as making your kitchen look put together. I'm impressed with the quality and love the simple dark green stripes that run the length of the towel. Each one has a loop to be easily hung and bears the Tivoli logo embroidered at one corner. They're incredibly soft and have quickly become my favorite kitchen towel.

Sabine Brandt Studio Print

The next item is an 8.25 x 6 inch print by Graphic Designer Sabine Brandt from Copenhagen. As described in the info sheet, she took elements from Tivoli to create this pleasing design, inspired by candyfloss, peacocks, and the *legendary* Harlekin figure. This looks lovely pinned up on a corkboard or can be framed and hung in a thoughtful place at home. I love the soft colors she chose and the incorporated woodgrain.

Lakrids by Bulow Red Liquorice, 150 g - Retail Value $9.50

Lastly, Norlii sent us a treat from Denmark that can be found in Tivoli and apparently should not be missed. After devouring the entire container in a few days, I can see what they mean. Made with all natural fruit juice, this red licorice is soft yet substantial and has the perfect chewiness to it. The flavor is full without being too sweet so you can easily eat a lot in one sitting. Even the packaging and bag that it comes in is well-designed. I'd expect nothing less!

Verdict: This month's Norlii box included four items worth over $99.50 (not including the print which I was unable to find a value for) which exceeds the $76.95 cost of the box ($69.95 plus $7.00 shipping). While this doesn't have an incredible "value" like many subscriptions, these items are tougher to find in the U.S. and would certainly cost much more with shipping for each if found online overseas. I always love what they choose to send and had fun discovering the magic of Tivoli through these items. I know where I'd like to go if I ever get to visit Copenhagen!

What memories! I went to Tivoli years and years ago when I went to Sweden for a soccer tournament. We stopped in Cophenhagen for the day and went to the park. It was such a fun day!!

I love the Scandinavian influenced home goods. My great grandparents are from Sweden, and I have a lot of Swedish Crystal with the same sleek lines.

I live in Europe and sadly I just saw on the website the company does not ship internationally yet 🙁 hope it will in the near future.

I have been watching this box and reading your reviews. The items have been very nice but feel that the value to cost is not enough for me to subscribe. I realize the shipping contributes to this but I have ordered from some websites that offer free shipping over a certain dollar amount that have these same items.
