Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences. After choosing when you’d like to receive your delivery, your stylist handpicks 5 items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Stitch Fix may be completely different.

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Box April 2019 Review

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Subscription Box Review April 2019 - Booklet Front Top

This is the invoice that was included in my package. It lists out the items I received and the cost to keep each. I think a 25% discount for keeping everything is pretty generous!

This really fun sheet of cards was also included. It has a note from my stylist in the upper left corner. I really appreciate the personalization that goes into her selections! All the other cards are styling ideas for the items in my box. How clever!

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Subscription Box Review April 2019 - Menlie Peplum Detail Top By Madewell Black 1 Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Subscription Box Review April 2019 - Menlie Peplum Detail Top By Madewell Black 2

Menlie Peplum Detail Top by Madewell - Cost to Keep $78

This top is an instant, easy win for me. I am really getting into Madewell these days; I like it a lot as a brand. It's a linen blend, so it is nice and breezy for spring. I think the button detail down the front is super cute! I usually don't really like peplum tops, but this one hangs straight instead of doing that blousey skirty thing on the bottom that peplum is known for, so I really like it.

Christoff Distressed Ankle Zip Jeans by 1822 Denim - Cost to Keep $48

I love these jeans! I'm not gonna lie, it's because I think they make my legs look thinner, haha. I have been wanting to dip my toe into the raw hem look for a while now, and at this low price, I think it's a pretty safe entry point. I love the zippers at the ankles, too! So cute! The wash is also perfect.

Justine Crochet Neck Linen Blend Top by Cupio - Cost to Keep $38

This linen blend knit top is really comfortable, and the cut is not bad, either. I just am not a fan of clothing that is this close to my skin tone. I also really like crochet, usually, but I'm not wild about this pattern. This will have to go back, I'm afraid.

Abby Frayed Hem Jacket by Curve Appeal - Cost to Keep $88

It is already way too warm here in Georgia to be thinking about denim jackets, and it's just going to get much, much hotter for the next five months or so. It's too bad, too, because this jacket is really cute! Of course, I would never wear the jacket and the jeans together, but this jacket feels well made and has a good cut for my shape. It also fits well and has a little stretch so it doesn't feel super stiff like some denim jackets do. It has a lot of frayed/raw edges, but I think it's pretty visually interesting and not really overdone. I like it, it's just not the right season, unfortunately.

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Subscription Box Review April 2019 - Leeah Lace Knit Dress By Wisp Front 1 Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Subscription Box Review April 2019 - Leeah Lace Knit Dress By Wisp Front 2

Leeah Lace Knit Dress by Wisp  - Cost to Keep $68

I am loving teal for spring this year! I have seen so many beautiful pieces in various shades of teal and peacock blue. This dress is super comfortable, and the lace is just gorgeous! Unfortunately, it is not the right cut for my shape. I need a more open neckline, and the "fit-and-flare" shape is not my favorite. I also don't like cap sleeves on myself. It's a good price, though.

The Verdict: I am a big fan of Stitch Fix! This month there were more misses than I like, but the hits were solid. I really love the black peplum top and the jeans! I am enjoying my subscription to Stitch Fix so far, and I think their prices are among the most reasonable. I can't wait for my next Fix!

That yoke decoration on the lavender top is mass produced Battenburg lace, not crochet. It was a thing in the 80’s and 90’s but I haven’t seen it in ages. Didn’t realize how much I didn’t miss it until its reappearance on that top!

Keep grandma’s doilies where they belong.

You’re nuts if you seriously returned the teal dress. I think that’s one of the best items of clothing I’ve ever seen on you. Time to get over those petty insecurities and rock it!

Watch out for Madewell! Once you start it’s hard to stop. The do classics with a cool twist better than anyone else.

I’m so sorry to disagree with you, but that teal dress looks stunning on you. All that matters is if you feel good in it though!

I know you didnt like the way that teal dress looked on you, but I think it made you look really thin. It was beautiful on you! The pink shirt was also beautiful on you as well, it gave a nice glow to your skin.

I think everything looks great but the edges of the denim jacket. You have to keep those jeans!

Girl no that pink top looked amazing on you!!! You most def need to keep it!! I am from Georgia as well and yeah i dont imagine why they would send you a jean jacket cause we don’t have spring here, we only have summer and winter haha.

That jean jacket is great for those times when the AC is cranked so high in some places that it’s actually cold. Or nights when it might dip into the 50s. Do you guys not have that there? I’m a little north of you and while we have hot summers we also have frigid AC.
