Naturisimo Blooming Gorgeous Discovery Box Review
Nourish Probiotic Multi Mineral Repair Mask, Full-Size! Retail Value $29.78 (£23.50)
This product by far was my favorite discovery in the box - it made my skin absolutely GLOW. I love that the cost of this one product is worth more than the cost of the entire box, and I also love that it isn’t crazy expensive so it is feasible for me to purchase it again in the future (I love this that much). When I was wearing it I could feel a light tingling sensation, the kind that makes you think “yeah look at this mask put in work on my skin.” When I rinsed it away, my skin was baby soft and glowing. I love that the third ingredient in this mask is rose water, too.
Bellapierre Mineral Lipstick in Envy, Full-Size! Retail Value $20
I’ll be honest and say that Bellapierre being included in a box from Naturisimo made me pause and wonder if I hadn’t given the brand a fair shake in the past. Envy is a dusty rose shade that is quite pretty, and this felt super hydrating on my lips. It did transfer but I was happy with how it faded on my lips so I wasn’t left with the lipstick ring around my mouth.
Here it is swatched.
Bamford Amenity Geranium Shampoo, 50ml – Estimated Value $5.70 (buy the full-size version for $22.81/£18)
This shampoo smells amazing - it felt like I was using a spa-quality product in my apartment. Along with geranium this also has eucalyptus, lavender, and peppermint that helped to perk me right up on a sleepy morning. I was happy that this didn’t dry my hair out either. I have a very dry scalp and hair, so some shampoos can really mess with my ability to comb through my curls.
Swell Ultimate Protect & Renew Serum, 30ml – Estimated Value $15.20 (buy the full-size version for $25.34/£20)
Since I believe in transparency I will come right out and say I almost applied this to my face because it wasn’t clear that this serum is for your hair. Oops. Luckily, I avoided that disaster, and I found this to add shine to my hair while taming some frizz.
Sukin Foaming Face Cleanser, 50ml – Estimated Value $3.60 (buy the full-size version for $8.99)
I don’t believe in paying a lot of money for cleansers (save that coin for masks and serums!), so I am always happy when I find an affordable cleanser that does a great job. This was super gentle to my skin and didn’t dry it out, and I reached for this when my skin was being super sensitive and temperamental. If you have sensitive skin, this may be one of the best cleansers I’ve tried under $10.
Agent Nateur Holi Oil Refining Youth Serum, 1.5ml – Estimated Value $6 (buy the 30 ml version for $120)
Hello, you pricey little sample! This non-greasy face oil is made with stellar ingredients like Bulgarian rose, rosehip oil, helichrysum (a flower in the daisy family), and rice! It was gentle and hydrating on my skin, but I would definitely need more than this sample to truly see any results (this is marketed as an anti-aging product that can help with wrinkles). If you're interested in trying a sample of this, Naturisimo offers it for $4 as an add-on to your regular purchase.
A’kin Rosehip Oil, 3ml - Estimated Value $3.42 (buy the full-size version for $22.81/£18)
I love rosehip oil! This cute little baby sample won’t last long in my apartment, as I love sealing in my nighttime skin routine with a few drops of facial oil to keep my skin hydrated and happy while I sleep. This is certified organic, and the only two ingredients are rosehip seed extract and rosemary leaf extract. Rosehip oil has a lot of essential fatty acids that your skin loves, and I enjoyed the way this sank into my skin.
Weleda Skin Food, 10ml – Retail Value $2.99
I have been seeing this product a lot on Instagram as a great moisturizer for dry or irritated skin. I like Weleda as a whole (my first introduction to them was in the Whole Foods Beauty Bag!), but I was a little bummed to see this had alcohol on the ingredients list. Of course, alcohol isn’t the worst thing in the world if the rest of the formula is done well, and I appreciated the hydration that came from ingredients like beeswax, sweet almond oil, chamomile, and calendula. Along with being great for nourishing dry skin, this can be used all over your body wherever your skin needs some extra love.
Rahua Body Lotion, 60ml – Estimated Value $14.40 (buy the full-size version for $48)
I have seen Rahau samples for hair care, but this is my first time trying a body lotion from the brand. I really liked it - it was lightweight without sacrificing hydration. This is formulated with key ingredients from the Amazon, and the scent was a unique blend of palo santo and vanilla that was earthy and light.
Natural Deodorant Co. Palmarosa & Mandarin Clean Deodorant Balm, 5g – Retail Value $2.64 (£2.08)
I am not on the natural deodorant train, but if I was, I can’t imagine I would enjoy applying this paste with my fingers rather than a typical stick. The ingredients list includes baking soda, coconut oil, and shea butter, and the scent was a pleasant citrus thanks to the palmarosa and mandarin essential oils.
The Verdict: I think this box from Naturisimo was another winner! I discovered some great new products, and I thought there was a good variety of samples and full-size items. Considering the relatively low cost of the box, I think the fact that we received multiple full-sized products is even more impressive. I calculated a total estimated value of $103.73, which is well above the promised value of $83. Also, can we appreciate the fact that this box came with free international shipping? You go, Naturisimo!
