Flair & Paper April 2019 "Wild & Free" Review
Each box comes beautifully wrapped with a welcoming card introducing the theme for the box as well as an itemization to all the items we received. This month’s theme is "Wild & Free."
Every month, Flair & Paper sends 4 of their greeting cards with their subscriptions. Each horizontal card measures at 4 inches high by 5 inches wide and the vertical cards measure at 5 inches high by 4 inches wide. All the cards are blank on the inside for the perfect message or picture and are sent with a coordinating envelope.
Adventure Awaits Greeting Card – Retail Value $4.00
I love this card! We just found out that one of our dear neighbors are moving to England later this year. I will be saving this for them. This card is adorable for someone making a big move, with a tiny camper and a campfire. This card is paired with a reddish-brown a-style envelope.
Let’s Celebrate – Retail Value $4.00
This card is so adorable! The fox with the yellow-flowered headband sitting on top of a mint colored cake in the forest just makes it so sweet. I wish I would have gotten this card at this time last year; my sweet nieces first birthday party was themed Wild One and this just fits perfectly. I will be saving this for a special occasion because it is a special card. This card is also paired with a reddish brown a-style envelope.
Live More, Worry Less Greeting Card – Retail Value $4.00
Like our other cards, this card fits into Flair & Paper’s Wild & Free theme perfectly this month. With green mountains, Christmas-type trees and snowfall, this card is simple but still sweet. I do not yet have a specific person (or family) or occasion for this card, but once I do, I will be prepared. Like the other two, this card is paired with a reddish brown a-style envelope.
Stay Wild & Free Greeting Card - Retail Value $4.00
I am loving this month’s theme and coordinating cards! This one is simple yet has plenty of flair. My favorite part is the whole design – the font and colors and the arrow and feathers. I also love the color of the envelope it is paired with – a turquoise a-style envelope that really matches the card.
Set of Flat Cards
I have received note cards in Flair & Paper before and loved them, so I was really happy to get another set in this month’s box. We got 4 beautiful, colorful cards with sweet messages. All the cards are blank on the reverse side for a message and come with a plain white a-style envelope. These cards are horizontal and measure at 4 inches high by 5 inches wide.
Wooden Magnet
This little magnet is adorable. I love the white pattern, with the mint stitching around the message. And the message serves as a sweet reminder; to me its saying that happiness and positivity leads to more happiness and positivity. I like that it is a magnet, I can stick it to the magnetic calendar in my office at work. Sometimes my industry gets stressful, but happiness goes a long, long way.
Adventure Bag
This bag is quite the adventure! It has everything related to a camping adventure: owls, flowers, bears with spatulas, raindrops, music symbols and so much more! The inside kind of threw me off, I was expecting a solid color or polka dots or something. Instead, I was greeted with scissors, pipes, candlesticks and what looked like genie bottles. The complexity of this bag makes it really pretty and really neat, and I really like it. It stands on its own and is pretty roomy. It seals shut with a zipper with a bow.
April Calendar Sheet
Every month, subscribers receive a calendar sheet for that month which really ties in with the theme. This month’s matches our last greeting card.
Verdict: Flair & Paper is hands down one of my favorite subscriptions. I look forward to the curation and the cards I receive every month. This month’s box is beautifully crafted and everything fit in with the theme very well. My favorite card and item this month is the Let’s Celebrate card with the fox. I was pretty bummed that I could not find any of the cards from this month’s subscription in the store, but there are some great ones for Mother’s Day.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but if you sign up now you will receive the May box.
LIMITED TIME DEAL: Use code MOMSDAY to save 20% off your first box!
Value Breakdown: I received 7 items in this month’s box (not including the calendar page and counting the note cards as a set). The greeting cards for Flair & Paper are a standard $4.00 and since I received four, they totaled $20.00, which is the cost of the subscription; that means we are paying approximately $2.85 for each item which is a really great deal!
