Am I the only person that remembers when they introduced Boxyluxe, Yosef told us in a video that the Boxyluxe would have everything that was in the Boxycharm but more things in addition? At first this was true. But now, it’s not. The Boxycharm had things I wanted and didn’t get. They were not variant items either. The tanner was one that every Boxycharm got and no Boxyluxe boxes contained.

Oh no! I just realized that the body butter was missing in my boxyluxe!!! Is it too late to complain to them?? I sent them an email but I don’t know what will happen. I totally forgot to check for it and when I went back to this spoiler page i was like “shoot! They forgot the body butter!”

Jamie
Did you get the spray instead? Check to be sure you were supposed to be getting the body butter and if so, definitely email them!

Got my bodyluxe yesterday. I loved it. I got almost everything I wanted except that my dryer came in blue meanwhile I wanted pink! Who wants to trade?

I have been a subscriber since January, and this is my first BoxyLuxe. When I opened up my box, I loved it so much that I caved and used my backup email to resubscribe just to get another June BoxyLuxe! I ordered on June 17th, and on June 18th they charged the additional $28.99 and confirmed I’m getting a BoxyLuxe. I think a lot of people opted out of BoxyLuxe this month!
I am going to give my daughter the hairdryer (#1 reason for getting another box, hope it’s the blue one!) and I am SUPER excited to get a backup of the Honeymoon Glow.
The only item I definitely do not want is the Living Proof Thickening Cream- my hair is THICK. I didn’t understand why everyone got a hair thickening product this month. Oh well! 🙂 Fingers crossed for a second Finishing Spray.
Everything else is just a bonus, I’m just glad they still had extra June BoxyLuxes! 🙂

Mine came this evening and I got 4B, which is exactly what I wanted! I’m soooo happy that I received the full size dry volume blast! I love that stuff! I chose the Tarte eye shadow palette because I already have a ton of blush, bronzer, and too many highlighters from Tarte, and others. That said, I also have too many eye shadows, LOL! Anyway, I’m happy,

I received box version 6B, which included the lip gloss in Peach Tea, the Skin & Co. facial mist, the Living Proof spray, and the purple hair dryer. It’s exactly what I had hoped for… and I love it.

Hi Maureen, Where do you find the box versions? I didn’t see them on the website or on MSA. Thanks!!

I really don’t know how to find out in advance… I guess I was just being extra. LOL The version no. is on the product description card that comes in the box in the bottom right hand corner next to a little heart.
Jamie
It’s on th card that came in your box. In the bottom corner usually.

Does anyone want to trade their M Greengrass cream for my Skin&Co spray? I really didn’t want this.

I received my box today and received variation 3B.
I received the strawberry lemonade lip gloss, Living Proof thickening cream and Skin&Co mist as my variations. I was really hoping for the Living Proof volumizing spray and the body butter 😔 As I have no use for the thickening cream and the body butter sounds really nice. I did receive the coral hair dryer which was the color I was hoping for so I’m happy about that 😊 I chose the eyeshadow pallete and it looks nice but I haven’t tried it yet. Kinda wish I would’ve went with the face pallete now, but it should work well with a lot of my other eyeshadows as transition shades.
Over all it’s a really good box. I’ll use most of the items. Now to look for someone selling the body butter and volumizing spray, lol!

I got this version X2. Would really have loved ONE of the Skin&Co. Roma Umbrian Truffle Therapy facial mists, but do love what I was sent.
My hair dryer is blue. Lip glosses are peach tea.
Got the Touch in Sol, Trestique mascara and curler, the Anderson Lilley body cream which I LOVE, and the Farmacy Honey Glow X2 as well.
Not exactly certain of the ” science” behind the Dr. Brandt cleanser, but since the attachments don’t fit on my blow dryer from the recent seasonal box from another company ( marble colored), I’m glad to have a better quality mini dryer.
I got the huge can of volume spray from Living Proof.. That’s hilarious to me because I have thicker hair than anyone I know. Stylists have commented on it all my life. I guess I’ll go retro 80’s. 😉 Going to get a new hair color technique done on Friday. I’m taking this can of volumizing spray to kid my stylist with.

I received a coral dryer(yay!) and the truffle mist instead of the cream.
I’m very happy with my box. 🥰

I received my BoxyLuxe and am happy with everything in it <3 never tried the Skin & Company setting spray don't really care for a dewy look prefer matte, but I'll try anything new that's what beauty boxes are for – new discoveries I wouldn't normally buy at the store :_)
However if I review products do I receive charms? or is the review free? wondering b/c with Ipsy you at least earn points – Thanks 🙂

I received my Boxyluxe today in the mail! I received version 2B. My hair dryer was blue (was hoping for the coral one but not a big deal), the Dry Volume Blast, Peach Tea lipgloss, Tarte Pro Glow palette and the body butter which smells expensive. Don’t know how to explain it other than that..Recieved everything I was hoping for (minus the color of the hair dryer). Very satisfied and impressed.

Same version here. This was my first Boxyluxe box, and I feel pretty satisfied with the value and the products.

Box triplets. 🙂 I think the blue hairdryer is just fine. I thought all the shades were fine.. Mine goes into a drawer in my makeup room anyway.

I am a longtime subscriber, and I must say that this box is improving. I’m older so I hate peachy-coral colors (reminds me of my grandma) and love everything pink and rosy. I wish the box would respect our color choices because I got the Pro Glow 3 instead of the pink palette and the peach lipstick instead of the pink one. However, the brands and items are all high quality, and there’s a lovely blend of items too. I have so many dry shampoos because every box (and I subscribe to many) includes dry shampoos pretty regularly so I would have liked the Living Proof Volumizer. Still, this box is trying hard to be competitive with the Ipsy Glam Plus box. It would be even better than Ipsy if the box respected our color preferences. Overall, this box is a vast improvement.

I just got my box today and I’m pretty happy (I liked most of the spoilers so no surprise there). I got box variation #1. I think the only thing I’ll be swapping is the Tarte PRO Glow Cheek Palette V3 since I have broken capillaries that give the effect of rosy cheeks so I rarely use blush. My lipgloss color is peach tea which is what I was hoping for but the other color would have gone to my daughter (and it’s not made in China!) The m.greengrass butter scent is “summer in Nice” and I love sweet fragrances. I’m excited to try the Trestique mascara as I’m still trying to find my HG since Rimmel discontinued my fave. I also mostly signed up for the Farmacy (serum addict here) and the full price of that is more than the box. My hairdryer is blue and I’m excited to see how it compares to my HG Babyliss Pro. I don’t actually have a travel dryer so this will be great. This makes a pretty sweet first Boxyluxe for me. I hope since I’m new to Boxy, it won’t feel like I’m getting repeats for a little while yet.

Was anyone else overcharged this month? & I’m kind of disappointed with this box. When they sent me the customization email and on my profile I put that I dont want creams and hair products, and that’s what this whole box is. They should of had a variation with more makeup for the woman that prefer that. Just my 2 cents.

Jamie
I was charged taxes but my state doesn’t pay taxes on those kind of things. I was sent an email (before I even noticed I was overcharged) that said they are refunding me and within a day or 2 it was back in my account.

I agree about the monthly boxes being for “kids”. Glitter eyeshadow? The colors are so juvenile. I am 56…a young 56 but still!!

BoxyLuxe was terrible. This was my first time and the face wash bottle was covered in black dirt, the eyeshadow pallet was dirty and Porebelm was already opened and seems to have been used. I feel like I got someone’s try products and they didn’t like them and threw them in my box. $50 is alot for what I got. Such a shame because I was looking forward to getting my first Luxe.

My coral hair dryer has some sort of black smudge on it that I can’t I get off either. It really takes away from the beauty of it. I did send an email and we’ll see what they say .

My cleanser also has black scuff marks. If it makes you feel any better to hear of my products… my lotion lid has a half long scratch on the lid, my living proof has 2 small dents, tarte palette box has a dented corner oh and my hairdryer has a black mark on the side. I’m happy some people get perfect items but I agree with the theory that Boxy gets factory seconds. Regardless the value is always incredible!!

My cleanser is covered in black marks too. Like deep scuff marks. Washed it with soap and water and scrubbed with sponge and the marks won’t cone out. Looks like someone drove over it with their car. It’s sealed, however. I just wish it didn’t look like it came out of the rubbish bin.

After reading your response, I closely inspected my items. There are some slight scuff marks on the cleanser, but nothing major. Everything arrived I’m good order. I too have subscribed for at least five continuous years, and other than damage from the post office, which is rare, everything comes in beautiful condition. As I mentioned in my previous comments, this particular box is pretty darn impressive (although I got peachy-coral colors instead of my pink-rosy preference, darn it). The variety is excellent, and the brand names are quality. Plus the box was loaded with full-size goodies. If Boxy respected our color preferences, they’d be far ahead the Ipsy Glam Bag Plus with this particular one. 😀
Marcia
I’d definitely email them about this. If that doesn’t work, go on social media.
So sorry this happened to you.

Just got my Boxyluxe today! For the ladies upset about getting the V3 palette – I actually tried the Tarte blush one at Sephora the other day and thought the colors were just too dark for my fair skin tone so I’m glad I ended up with the V3 which has way better shades for me. So happy with everything – even the truffle face mist which was a surprise (thought we were getting body butter). Great box!

I received my first BoxyLuxe too today and received the also received the V3 Palette. I too have fair skin but will use it sparingly. I received the version with the Anderson Lilley Greengrass Hand/Body Lotion. The card says it’s not tested on animals, free of parabens etc with a value of $24 so I’m ok with it.
I think this box is a fabulous value. I was dubious after the “waiting list” first time fiasco….but I thought id give it a try now, hoping more of the glitches were fixed.
I’ve paid full price for the Living Proof Blast in the past, so I’m thrilled with that item and all the other products for the price paid for the box.
I hope you all are happy with your boxes too 🙂

I’ve had Boxy for years but this will only be my second Boxyluxe. I received an email three days ago saying my box is in transit, which implies that it has shipped. The email also said I would receive tracking within five business days and the box within 15 business days. So has it shipped or not? Why so darn long to get tracking? And 15 BUSINESS days for it to arrive? I’ve never had Boxy take that long. Usually I get a spoiler email but I did not get that this time.

Hopefully this gets posted, MSS is notorious for not posting my comments, idk why….
I am sure plenty have gotten this question asked but this is my first month I subbed to boxyluxe yet I was still charged the $21 for the monthly box.
So essentially I am paying $50 for Boxyluxe!?!? Is that correct?
Reply
Nicci
Yes. The initial charge is for the regular Boxy subscription and the additional $28.99 will be billed as a separate upgrade charge. If there aren’t funds available for the $28.99 charge, you’ll still get the regular Boxycharm box. Hope this helps clarify things a bit 😊
Reply
mmaureenn
But, they only make two separate charges for your first Boxyluxe. From the second Boxyluxe forward, you will only see one charge for the total price of Boxyluxe. I hope this makes sense…
Sandi
Yes. The month you receive Boxyluxe (quarterly) you are charged a total of $49.99. All other months it’s $21.
Reply
Jamie
I’m confused by your comment. Did you pay $21 or $50? The boxycharm base box is $21 and the larger boxyluxe box is $50. However, they charge your card in 2 separate transactions. One for $21 and another for $28.99.
