Each month, subscribers get a new mix of 5 beauty samples, such as makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance items. Birchbox lets you choose whether you’d like a box of items picked just for you (incl... read more.

I was just looking at the birchbox website, and it looks like June’s box is a “slider” box with a tassel pull. Birchbox has been using the slider boxes overseas for awhile, and I’ve been coveting one! I think that’s a fun twist on our box this upcoming month!

Awe crep.. I don’t want a single thing here and just bought an annual sub LOL There is another box variation though right?
Side note: I randomly got an April box in the mail yesterday and was dead when everything in it was on point. Seriously one of the most useful boxes I have got in a long time… I picked the skincare box for May and hoping for another win like those in June!

I’m not too excited about this box. And being the first box I’ll be paying $15 for, I’ll probably cancel as well. I’ve been having the same issue, trying to request the curated box I’d like, only to find them sold out. If their items make up for the additional cost, I may sign up again in the future. But for $6 more, I can receive full size items, so…

Makeup Eraser samples? Lol…those things are tiny! I got one for free and couldn’t even use it. The samples looks like they’re leftover scraps from cutting down the regular sizes.

I’d be down for this box. Because, I’d take a full-size Smith & Cult nail polish any day. Never, tried Jouer lip stick. I’ve only had their lip conditioner. London would be a new to me brand. while the wave spray and air repair would be repeats they’re both samples I enjoyed. And, I just see the makeup cloth thing as an extra. And, I’d use it for summer travel. But, all that being said… If this box is an official curated box. I hope they give a couple more options like they’ve been doing. Bc, this box is a little too similar to May’s box option #2.

I doubt it will be a curated box. It’s the “box” they show when you go to cancel. I’ve canceled and resubbed and canceled again several times, and the box they show in cancellation has never turned into a curated box.

So happy I cancelled last week after two years!

Usually I like almost every item I get. June looks like a big disappointment for me. Don’t like any of the items.

Love the nail polish! That makeup eraser is a throwaway item, though. I’ve received it before and it’s a joke, it’s so small! Hopefully that nail polish is a sample choice!

Hopefully the curated boxes are much better! I liked most everything in the two from this past month

Even if the curated boxes are better, they use a bait and switch method…curated boxes feel out in minutes so you’re left with crap. I got 5 hair items by unknown brands and a drugstore mascara last month because the 2 good curated boxes were sold out immediately.

Problem is, the curated boxes are the ole bait and switch. I couldn’t get either of the 2 good curated boxes for May within minutes of selection time opening up (not cool). I paid $15 +tax for FIVE unknown hair brand samples and a drug store mascara, and the only good sample I got was the one I ACTUALLY got to pick (the Khiels moisturizer).
If I can’t ACTUALLY select a curated box that is advertised, what’s the point of having them?

Lol at people saying they’re going to cancel based on partial spoilers. Wait until the rest come out.

If I got this box, I’d be totally happy about it. I need new nail polish colors, so I’ve been looking for them in my sub boxes. I like the Air Repair, love anything by Ouai and I’m interested in trying the Butter London shadows.
Like someone else mentioned, I paid $8.25/box for my sub, so I think this is a fantastic deal. If you don’t like these spoilers, we still have yet to see all the curated box choices or sample choices, so it’s a little too early in the cycle to be dragging Birchbox yet. Put down your pitchforks, lol.

When is the deadline to cancel?

Happy to try Smith & Cult or Butter London. I received a terrific Birchbox this month, and I’m excited to try new things. Glad they’re giving out more makeup now.
As long as I remind myself that (1) Birchbox is not in the same league as ipsy, which gives more full-size products and a cosmetic bag, (2) Birchbox is not like Allure, which receives high-end items from its advertisers, and (3) I only paid $8.25for a box of six samples, which is fair, I’m happy.

Looks like time to cancel again. I’m already getting Smith and cult in the may box and have tried or don’t want all the other items.

I might skip too. It looks like the nail color is Bang Tang-pretty but very close to a bunch I already own.

Kelly May Can you skip?? This will be my second box. Noting looks good in June.
Laurie
Not excited. Nothing at all I would want here. I already have a make-up eraser, they have been out for quite some time. Ouai products are high quality, but have been in so many subscription boxes.

Not to mention those makeup eraser samples are like a 2 inch square.
Also, while I like those butter london shadows, I bought a bunch at Kohl’s when they were 80% off!

Same. I decided May’s box was probably going to be my last box anyway so this pretty much sealed my decision.

Good lord, again with the makeup eraser scrap.
