  1. I signed up for this promo on May 17th at 4 am and here it is June 25th and I have yet to receive my box or even a shipping confirmation. I also have not received my June box either! Anyone else having this problem?

  2. Can we know what keywords prevent our posts from showing up immediately? I just wrote one and have posted on MSA for years with the same username and email; did not include anything offensive or inappropriate, so not sure what’s going on…

  3. I did not get the perfume and instead got some other small welcome gift I have no interest in whatsoever.

    I emailed Allure at the email address from their customer service in the blog comments and attached screenshots of EVERYTHING (my order confirmation date/time, when I originally purchased, the order confirmation email, their customer service response, etc) and even though I ordered well within the window to receive the perfume, the CSR responded back that I ordered outside the window and changed the AM time to PM (which would not be in the time frame) even though my screen shot clearly captures the correct time. I responded back with that information, but if they don’t honor the advertisement and promises by their customer service, I have no dilemma filing a complaint with the BBB and filing a dispute with my CC. Companies cannot illegally advertise and have a bait and switch. NOT ok.

  4. Of course I didn’t get the perfume, I signed up on the 15th, it was showing in stock for several days after I signed up, but I got a mini eyeshadow! Sick of this bait and switch subscription!

    • Same here false advertisement, canceled my subscription, I believe that they do that to get customers, can’t stand lies

    • I signed up when the promotion was still active not only did I not receive the perfume…I didn’t receive any bonus gift at all. They are the worst.

    • I got the mini eyeshadow too, but just got the full sized perfume in the mail today. Happily surprised!

  5. I’ve contacted CS a few times, my order was confirmed 5/1719 at 9:25am but I still have yet to receive my box, or even a confirmation that my order has shipped, but I have received no response other than the standard reply that my email was received and someone will respond shortly.

    I didn’t cancel for June, in case this would effect my May box, but I haven’t even been charged for June yet.

    • I subscribed when this promo came out and have yet to receive anything either. I called in late May and was told that they process orders in batches so mine would be processed later, and I would likely get the May and June box very close together. Im going to wait until Monday and then try calling again. The CS rep I spoke to was very nice and helpful so I’m not too worried about it

    • Same I didn’t cancel b/c I was worried it would affect my May box too! I have yet to be charge for the June box Also

    • Anyone still waiting on tracking? I’ve gotten the run around from customer service a lot. Last email said it should arrive within 20 business days. Tomorrow will be 20 business days and still not even a tracking number! Very frustrating!!

      • No tracking or shipping confirmation for May or June, but I have been charged for my June Box now.

  6. Just a heads up to people who are considering the Allure beauty box. They don’t stand by with what they say on their website. I saw the free perfume pop up on May 17 and subscribed. I was charged that same day. May 30 came and I still didn’t receive a shipping email. I contacted them on May 31 because I didn’t want to be charged for next month’s box when I haven’t even received my previous box. (Their website says if you don’t want to be billed for next month’s box, you should cancel your subscription on or before the day prior to the 1st day of the next month.) Instead of cancelling my June box onwards, the agent cancelled my May box, which I already paid for. She said they will refund the amount paid. Naturally I got mad because I was so excited for my free perfume. When I asked them why they cancelled my May box which I already paid mid May, they blamed me for not specifying that I meant to cancel my June box and not my May box. But their website also says, “If you have already been charged for your next box when you cancel, we are unable to refund you, as the order is already in progress with our warehouse.”
    So why then did they cancel an order that was made more than 2 weeks ago?!

    I did what their website told me to do and this is what happens. They refuse to fix my problem and would instead send me a check refund two to three weeks from June 1. WTH?!

    Poor business ethics, Allure! Boxycharm would never do this to ther customers!

  7. I got my box today (ordered through Amazon pay) and it did contain the perfume! But the Lue Erase paste was 1/3 used without the little stopper (I know from receiving it in a previous box). I called and CS was very nice and said they would send a replacement. So good experience from me.

    • I ordered on 5/17 and when I called I was told I was getting the perfume. I called again because the box still hasn’t shipped and was told that no, I didn’t qualify for the perfume because I had to purchase the box as a gift for someone else. 😡

      • I received a response when I sent Allure a message through their Instagram account:
        We’re so sorry about that! The Badgley Mischka gift ended on 5/17 at 3PM and you will indeed receive it (without having to buy a gift subscription) if you signed up within the given time frame of its launch. May we have your Allure Beauty Box associated email address so we can check in our system if you qualify for the gift? Thanks!

    • I received the same email and I appreciate them reaching out and making it right. One thing I truly value is good customer service. I’ve dropped box subs and stopped shopping at stores I love over bad experiences and associates that didn’t care. A good experience will keep me as a customer and make me tell my friends all about it.

  9. I received my box. No perfume… 🙁

    It was a renewal account from last year, so with all of the back on forth of who qualified for the perfume, when I ordered May 15, I called CS and the lady said, ” I see what you mean…our website is confusing. I’ll reach out to my manager.” Never heard back. I had already ordered it….thought, well, it’s only $10… and it was a gamble. Super disappointed, I have to say. I won’t fall for the gift with purchase again.

    • This is false advertising, which is illegal. It should not be a gamble when we see a clear message with a clear offer. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Buerae. It only takes a few minutes and I would like to encourage all of you, who didn’t receive a promised gift, to do the same. Otherwise, they will continue doing this unchallenged.

    • The same here, I didn’t receive the perfume even thought I ordered right away. I am on the phone with them and they are claiming that the perfume was with three month subscription only. They don’t even care that I have screenshot of this offer. This is unbelievable!!

  12. Just got my box and did not receive the perfume despite it still being shown as the new member gift when I ordered and well after. I received the Natasha Denona shadow and Caudalie, both of which I already have. Not very happy as this is the second time I’ve gotten screwed. Last time was in February I believe. I ordered then they cancelled it the next day because my account was suspended in their system. Ugh.

    • Me too! I ordered BEFORE any comments were made on the post on May 15th–and it showed as a new member gift when I placed the order. This post shows updated on the 18th with it being out of stock-3 full days after I placed my order!

      No one from Allure ever reached out to me at all. I would have at least expected an email saying they were subbing a $115 valued item with two small items valued at $46 total! I feel totally blindsided and bait and switched. Especially with having to come to this third party site to find out why I did not receive the item offered to me for my subscription. I have emailed Allure but have no hopes given other comments I’ve seen about this being an ongoing habit with this company. Not a very good way to start off our new relationship! Very disappointed!

        • Thank you-I will email to this email you have provided. I did email once and was told opps we don’t see that on your account. Replied again showing what date & time I purchased it and received an email saying it would be sent seperately-I will forward all of those correspondences to the new email address you provided and give you the opportunity to make it right.

    • I just received a reply to the email I sent them. It says the perfume is being shipped separately. It is being prepared for shipment and will be shipping shortly. I’m confused.

      • I heard that they do this, ship the box out and you have to wait on the gift (sometimes for a few weeks) to get it.

  13. Just thought I would leave an update for everyone. I just got my May box and the perfume was in it! In a box, sealed, and in perfect condition! Kudos to Allure this time around!!!

    • I also just received my May box with the perfume included. It looks like I bought from a store. People complained about the new pouch and about the outer box being a waste, but one benefit is that it can fit more. With the old box design they had limit items to things that would fit in the box and had no choice but to gifts separately.

      • My comment got censored for some.reason but I listed everything I got in the box and the frizz sheets wasn’t one of them, but I don’t think I would complain about anything with this box. Ten bucks for things I haven’t tried yet and a $115 bottle of perfume!!! Score!!

    • Did you receive the frizz sheets?

      • No I got Laneige water bank, Laritzy lip gloss, St. Tropez face spray, Amore Pacific essence, Model eyelites, and the Lue face cleansing powder. With the perfume in the box and the items I would be a really big *#$_&@_- to complain about $10 lol

      • No. I received the amorepacific vintage single extract essence. I used my mom’s old account to resubscribe for the perfume. I got the frizz sheets in the box from the subscription I had for almost 2 years. I canceled that one. I understand that maybe they need to sometimes have variations, but they should be at least be a similar value.

        • I received my box, got the perfume and the essence…I’m obsessed with toners so excited to see how a $145 full size toner measures up to others I favor.

  15. This is for people actually gifting a subscription but it’s perfect for me because I am gifting a 3 month subscription to my mom for her birthday. I had to call it in because the website glitched when I submitted my payment, but CS said my mom is even getting the new membership gift with the Natasha Denona eyeshadow and Caudalie! I am excited to get the Badgley Mischka perfume as my bonus gift! 🙂

  18. This offer is over their site is showing the eyeshadow and claudial serum for new subs. And the perfume for the gift sub only. I think we are good if your order went thru NOW it’s just a wait and see game & allure usually takes forever to ship so hope you like June’s box. Which I do so it’s still worth it too me.

    • They may have run low on stock. I signed up this morning and the perfume was listed as the new member gift at the bottom of the May box product list, it’s now changed to the Natasha Denona shadow + Caudalie serum. It is still listed as a bonus for giving a gift subscription as you mentioned.

  20. The Allure sign up page is no longer offering the perfume as a sign up bonus. Instead, new subscribers will be receiving a Natasha Denona eyeshadow single and sample sized Caudalie Vinopure serum. However, the Badgley full size perfume is still listed as a gift for those who purchase a multi-month gift subscription.

  21. I received two Nunzio Saviano Anti-Frizz Sheets instead of the Amorepacific or Youth Revolution product. Very disappointed.

    • Me too. The AmorePacific products clearly state everyone will receive one or the other. Frizz sheets were not mentioned. I’m blowing up their email just to see if I can get a reply (since they apparently don’t respond by email). I’ll give it a week and then I’ll call. And then comes the cancellations…..me, my mom, my sister, my sis-in-law. Two months in a row of blatant bait and switch. 😡

      • They absolutely reply by email. I emailed them about an issue at 1:30pm on Monday and they responded by 5pm the same day and fixed my issues.

      • You are so much better off to call them. There’s never any wait on the phone and they USUALLY fix the issue right away

    With any new order that was placed, it does include the new member gift a full-sized Badgley Mischka perfume.”

    • I emailed CS after reading your comment above, and they responded saying :

      “Thank you for contacting Allure Beauty Box.

      If you qualified for the Badgley Perfume then it will arrive in your first box.”

      So unfortunately I’m disappointed, I assume that means I will not be getting it. I knew it was a chance, but it was also the reason I signed up!

  23. I used the link to subscribe to this box, before checking up I saw the perfume as a gift. But when they sent me the email, there was no perfume. This means that I will get there, right? . And also when I went to see my bank account and oh surprise I had a charge of $ 90. 9 charges of $ 10, I already send an email I will wait for an answer. I just hope that my money is returned and I can recieve the perfume.

  24. Ok so if I’m understanding correctly, you only get the perfume if you both give a gift sub and sub yourself? Is this correct?

    • Sorry it is confusing! This promo first was available for gift subscriptions, and now it is available for regular subscriptions, too. No need to purchase a gift subscription, just one month for yourself will work! Hope that helps clarify a bit! 🙂

      • Just received my box with no perfume in it even though I signed up on May 15th as soon as the offer was posted. When I contacted the Allure Beauty Box Customer they denied that the offer for new Members ever existed and it was only a gift subscription offer. This is unacceptable and illegal false advertising practice that needs to be stopped and highlighted by MSA.

  25. I almost caved, but then, I read the fine print. It says that you will get that or another amorepacific item. That’s bait and switch if I ever saw it

  26. I subscribed through this link earlier but when I called to confirm the offer they said they could not find my account. When I tried to login on the website it was not found as well. I hope this does not mean that I will not get the perfume especially since my bank account has been charged. Has this happened to anyone before? The lady told me it could take 24 to 48 hours for my information to be seen by them but it’s never taken that long before. This is a new account.

    • It took a couple days for my subs with allure to show up every time I sub with them. Don’t worry, you should get it :-). Did you get a confirmation email after signing up? I got one immediately after and just to cover my own behind I always take screen shots of everything including the advertisment allure has out for the promotion.

      • They ended up canceling the subscription that I set up for my daughter because I didn’t do it as a gift but as a new member and they tied it to my account. Even though the email address and name was different it was cxld. I called today and had a representative do it as a gift because online it made you do 3 months but through a representative she was able to do only one month. I still have not received the email confirmation but she gave me a confirmation number and I called and checked and they verified it.

    • Apparently I am a ghost…Allure cannot EVER find my account. Ever. But they always take my money and send me a box. That’s just absurd, Allure.

  27. Update to all, I subbed yesterday maybe an hour after the article and wanted to make SURE I got the perfume when I used the link. I emailed them and they told me the perfume is only for the gift subscriptions and I would be getting an eyeshadow. Very unhappy.

    • I am so sorry but this is so typical of Allure. they are extremely brazen to bait and switch and don’t even pretend like they aren’t doing it on purpose.

    • WHAT? Bummer. Well, my credit card has not been charged and its been 24 hours. I have a feeling my re-subbing an old sub won’t qualify me for the perfume. At this point, I think it will be less stress to just go and buy my own…! 🙂

    • Seriously? This link is wrong then, I subbed through this link and the pop up showed the perfume. I will be so bummed if I don’t get the perfume.

    • I got news for them- I took plenty of screenshots of every single step, including where it showed the perfume as the new subscriber gift and if they do not send it as advertised, then I will 100% be demanding a refund and if they don’t want to comply, I will just turn it over to my bank. I also will be contacting the FTC regarding this because it is considered a form of retail sales fraud.

      • I took screenshots showing the perfume as well. From all the comments I have doubts I will actually receive it and I’m pretty bummed about it.

        • Same. I also made sure I paid with my credit card, not debit, so it will be pretty easy to dispute charges if need be.

          • I called Allure and they assured me I would get the perfume.

      • Please let me know if anything comes of it. I didn’t take a ton of screenshots, but I did take one at the very beginning showing it would be there.

      • Wow!! Maybe take a step back for a second before threatening with the FTC over a bottle of perfume. Atleast give them the benefit of the doubt first.

        • I don’t believe it’s the first time Allure promised something and didn’t deliver.

        • Benefit of the doubt is given to companies that do not have a track record of pulling scams such as this.

          • They most certainly do have a track record of promising one thing and giving another. If an eyeshadow is given instead of the advertised perfume that’s quite a big difference.

    • I wish they did use PayPal. I prefer it for most orders.

  30. Does anyone know when you need to cancel so you DON’T receive the June box?

    • Anytime before June starts lol

    • You’ll need to cancel before June to guarantee you won’t be charged. (or, if you want to spend your time calling Allure, and maybe not even getting the right info…they can tell you the exact date our next box will be charged.) However, unless they’ve recently changed their policies, they will NOT let you cancel the sub until the first box has shipped. I got caught in an issue with them before where they were way delayed on shipping my initial box, and couldn’t guarantee that they’d ship it before the beginning of the next month, so couldn’t guarantee that they would not bill me. They said they would make notes and if I got charged again I could request a refund…but frankly it’s a ridiculous system…the shipping issue was their fault so it made no sense that I was going to be penalized due to their problem. But, such is Allure…huge pain to deal with, and I”ve found that most of the CS reps don’t have a clue.

  32. Ladies, if all you want is perfume- go for it but don’t expect $32 Amorepacific cream or essence in your box. I got 2 wipes for frizzy hair. There is an asterisk & small font “* or another Amorepacific item”. Nunsio Saviano is not Amorepacific to me!

    • Same. And my LUÉ Erase powder has no safety seal and 26.56 grams of product (just the powder, not the container). It’s supposed to be 56 grams 😶

      • Same on both counts. Half the Lue and two frizz sheets.

    • I think it’s totally random if you get Amorepacific or not.

    • True! I’ve found with allure beauty Box typically (not always) long term subscribers get what’s advertised & new subscribers get the random items included. I also got those little frizz wipes with my new subscription. But with my existing account I got what was advertised.

      • I got those “amazing” wipes as well. I am subbed since July 16, never skipped a box. First time ever I called their customer service and voiced my opinion. Rep told me they will mail me AmorePacific. We shall see.

        • I also got 2 of those frizz sheets and have been subscribing without cancelation for over a year. I got an allure email yesterday with the subject “try this $200 Korean mask for $10”. The email said that May subscribers will receive 6 items plus an amorepacific item. They are so shady! I feel like they are constantly just trying to bait new subscribers. I’m calling them today.

    • Same here! And I only got one frizz wipe lol. I qas sooo busy today but am def calling first thing tomorrow morning. Sooo ridiculous.

  34. I got the 3 months gift subscription to get tht perfume…n now its a new member gift… kinda bummed…

    • Same here. Annoying, but, oh well.

      • I almost did the gift subscription as well. So glad this offer came up. With the free gift I hope it comes in the box. When it ships separate you have a 50/50 chance of it not showing up. I wish the gift subscription prices were lower $45 for 3 months is full price and I always unsub and use a diff email to get for $10.

        When I call to cancel I always get offered a past box of my choice but haven’t got offered the 3 months for $10 🤨 so I just cancel and resub. I have never had an issue (like others being refunded or not getting sign up perks). I subbing for me has always been easy I always call and within 5 minutes it’s taking care of they just ask for name and zip code.

  35. Ladies! Question, if I just reactivate my cancelled allure subscription, can I receive the perfume?

    • No. For brand new subscribers only. If you use a different email they will cancel. Only one account per adress/card etc. They are really strict about not allowing one person to have multiple accounts.

    • I tried this before, and they did not send me my items. I even made a new email account.

    • I do have to chime in here. I reactivated my cancelled allure account to get the full sized Sunday Riley even after people telling me I wouldn’t receive the new member gift. I made sure to use the same exact info as before so that the system wouldn’t find an issue and cancel my account and I DID receive the new member Sunday Riley. As always, outcomes may vary but I tried my luck again but I didn’t have my allure account active. So only time will tell.

    • I’ve subbed off & on to Allure based on spoilers for a while, and I was always able to get whatever gift was offered at the time, plus my “first” box for $10. I never tried to re-activate my account though (by calling or emailing), I just purchased a new subscription using the my same email & physical address.

      • I have done the same, and always received the gifts.

        • Me too. This is one box I cancel and reup frequently to keep the $10 price and I always get the gifts.

    • You guys are just really lucky. They have said numerous times that they don’t allow constant subscribing and cancelling to keep getting gifts. I would say you might get lucky and they won’t catch it but don’t get your hopes up.

  37. How do you know for sure you get the perfume? It doesn’t show on the checkout page.

    • Allure gift with subscriptions do not show up on the checkout page. Sorry! If you see the free gift promotional pop up when you click the link, you should be good!
