Nature's Kindle 'Rain' Candle, 8 oz – Retail Value $20.00
This candle has a really fresh scent, like clean air and subtle florals. It isn't really my type of scent by itself, but I could absolutely see myself burning this in my kitchen with my essential oil diffuser loaded with a fresh blend of citrus oils. It is a great choice for a day of open spring windows and laundry. It was pretty strong scent wise, easily filling up my living room and kitchen (around 650 sq feet combined.) These candles are hand poured in Portland and are made of high-quality soy wax.
This candle arrived in this month's Ignis and Lucerna subscription boxes as well.
Nature's Kindle 'Cucumber Mint' Travel Tin Candle, 4 oz – Retail Value $10.00
This is an extra minty take on the classic cucumber mint scent. I like it a lot! The little tin is great for taking to the office or just using in a bathroom or smaller space in your home. It is made of clean burning soy wax.

Marigold Seed Packet
I love that they sent along a flower seed packet with a rain scented candle. So Springy!
These seeds arrived in this month's Ignis and Lucerna subscription boxes as well.
Verdict: This month's VellaBox has a value of about $30.00 (minus the value of the seeds.) This is the same as the cost of the box. While the rain scent is not something I would have necessarily reached for at a store for myself, the scent is better when the candle is lit because it is warmer and more sophisticated. I also really loved the over the top mintiness of the mini candle. The main focus of this box is sending candles free of beeswax, filled with natural fragrance oils, and lead-free wicks. If you are looking for a sub to send you clean candles and love a surprise each month, check this one out for sure!
