Pura Vida Jewelry Club April 2019 Review

One thing I enjoy about Pura Vida is that they always send some nice stickers with their jewelry. The designs are really fun and they even included some information on their story and how they give back. They create over 200 full-time jobs for artisans worldwide!

Your jewelry will arrive in this nice sturdy box with a magnetic closure that would be perfect for gifting. Inside is some fun tropical tissue paper that makes for such a nice presentation!

On top of our tissue paper is a card welcoming us to the club and a reminder that our exclusive jewelry is only available to club members. This card states that the value will be up to $50, while their website lists it as being up to $65. This is a little confusing, and also could be misleading since the higher value is listed on their website, but after a quick (and easy) chat with customer service they confirmed that the $65 value is correct. Hopefully, they correct these cards soon!

Inside the box were two little dust bags, one for each piece of jewelry. These are a bit different than the ones that come in their bracelet club pack. These are a little smoother and sleeker in my opinion.

The Dusk Set Rose Quartz Stud Earrings – Estimated Value $20? (based on other earrings in their shop)

I was so excited to see some rose gold in our set this month! This is my preferred metal and these earrings are perfectly my style! Now, I know not everyone will feel this way, but I think these are simple enough that almost anyone can appreciate them. They feature a genuine rose quartz stone in the center which is a nice milky pink that looks nice with the rose gold. They are comfortable and definitely feel like quality earrings.

Here they are on. They have a pretty low profile and are incredibly comfortable. I think they are a great option for spring accessories!

The Dusk Set Rose Gold Charm Bracelet – Estimated Value $30? (They don’t have a lot of metal bracelets on their site, but the ones they do have are cuffs that are $30, and this is probably actually worth more due to the charms and genuine quartz!)

I was wondering if this subscription would include bracelets since they already have a monthly bracelet club, but this is so different than the other bracelets they send out. Although it does coordinate nicely with this month’s pack! I love that the rose gold matches our earrings and that it also has a matching genuine rose quartz charm. The peace charm and the star charm are nice additions and I love the sparkly gem in the center of the star. I also really love the clasp which has three different size settings and features a tiny bead at the end of the chain. Those little details are what really make this bracelet feel like a quality piece to me.

I have it on the second setting here so you can see it is pretty loose, but I can get a snug fit if I used the smallest setting. Either way, it is lightweight and comfortable and just sparkly enough!

Here they are together. You can see that they make a nice set with the coordinating genuine rose quartz stones.

The Verdict: This was the second box from Pura Vida’s jewelry club and I was really excited to see a bracelet and earrings, especially in rose gold! The pieces are beautiful and they are the same quality that I have come to expect from this company. The rose gold and peach tone of the quartz make them ideal for spring and I think they are definitely worth the $19.95 a month cost of this subscription. As for the retail value, I definitely think it was at least $50, but most likely more based on the cost of other items in their shop!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? As of now, it looks like this pack is still available!  From Pura Vida:

Orders ship within 4-5 days of purchase. Your card will be charged $19.95 + tax on the 7th of each month, and your pack will arrive around the 15th.

Value Breakdown: At $19.95 for this box, you’re paying about $9.98 for each piece.

  1. Brandi – always love your reviews. Just to let you know, the link for the bracelet club in this review actually goes to the pura vida subscription box instead of the pura vida bracelet club

  2. Genuine quartz is cheap. I can believe $30 if it is a decent thickness of rose gold plating, though.

  3. This is a really pretty set! I’m tempted to cancel IPSY GBP for a few months and get this instead.
