Loot Wearables March 2019 Review

No booklet this shipment. I kind of miss how helpful those can be.

Guardians of the Galaxy Hawaiian Woven Shirt

Ok, so this shirt is WAY too much for me personally. I can appreciate how it is a Hawaiian style shirt and they have a tiki twist on this fandom. Even I have to smile at that tiki Groot! The fabric itself is a little weird and feels kind of like children’s pajamas. It buttons all the way up and has a full collar. The colors are a nice palette (they could have gone super vibrant) and there is a ton of little fun details hidden in this pattern. I just don’t know anyone who would actually wear this to pass it on to.

Verdict: This Loot Wear piece is a bit of a head-scratcher for me, though I admit completely that I totally prefer subtle or minimal fandom pieces. This is def. bolder than that! If you like cute and quirky patterns featuring your favorite heroes and button-up shirts though, this likely is a winner for you!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, since themes cut off at the 19th of every month.

COUPON – Use coupon code SAVE3 to save $3 off your first month, or ADDICTION to save 10% off of any length (saves $8+ on an annual subscription) of Loot Tees!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

  1. I wanted this short. It wasn’t til April that I cancelled after months of waiting for my loot wearbles to arrive. This is the one shirt I was stoked about.. Apparently my dad didn’t like my firefly Hawaiian shirt. I was hoping this came in sooner then later…. Still waiting.

  2. I honestly love this shirt and was excited to wear it out today. It’s comfortable, fun, and the fit is great! I don’t typically wear such flashy stuff, but this one surprised me. I think the overall color scheme and cute little designs really sold it for me.

  3. Looks like a quirky bowling shirt or something along those lines 😀 I can definitely see my youngest daughter wearing and loving this one!

    • I bet it would be much more adorable bowling. I actually love this idea.

  4. I agree, the graphics on this shirt are a bit much. I’m guessing Groot is supposed to appear scary/ intimidating, but instead he seems to be constipated

    • this made me laugh!

    • He’s supposed to be a tiki, that’s why!
