This collection is a celebration of LiveGlam's 2 year birthday! All of our lippies have cute birthday treat themed casings this month.
LiveGlam KissMe Gloss Liquid Matte in Paris – Retail Value $10.00
This color is really pretty! It is a very neutral rose color, more tawny than pink. It is in the liquid matte formula which has excellent coverage and staying power. I tend to add glosses over matte formulas because my lips are dry. I would easily wear this color daily as it goes with nearly every shadow or clothing combo you can imagine and gives me a little color without being bold. Without the pinkish tint, I do not think this would be as wearable, at least not for me!
LiveGlam KissMe Liquid Matte Lipstick in Milan– Retail Value $10.00
This is probably my favorite color this month because it is a really bold neutral. I like the reddish undertones, and how it also has sort of a brick feel. I would wear this shade year-round! I feel like it goes really well with my skin tone and the formula is fully opaque with just one swipe of the wand. Again, this is a matte formula, so feel free to add some gloss if matte isn't your jam. I would absolutely love to own a gloss version of this shade.
LiveGlam KissMe Liquid Matte Lipstick in Rome – Retail Value $10.00
This is way too brown for me. I feel like I look like I just ate a fudge pop. Colors like this tend to wash me out because I need a little red or pink for the shade to really pop with my fair skin. I will say that this is a beautiful brown and the coverage is excellent! If you are someone who pulls this chocolatey tone off better than I do, you will likely love this.
Verdict: This month's KissMe collection had a trio that admittedly looked WAY similar when I pulled the tubes out of the bag to see the colors sent this month. I was kind of surprised they would send such similar shades together until I tried them all on and realized that despite appearances, they were each wildly different from the other. My favorite was easily Milan, but the demure Paris shade was another winner. Rome just looks terrible on me, but then again, it is better than green. I really wish at least one of our lippies this month had been a gloss, but I have my fingers crossed for next time!
