This collection is all about St. Patrick’s Day. Peep that green ya’ll! Each tube of lipstick is 2.8 ml and has a really nice wand tip that grabs just the perfect amount of product per dip. The name of each color is on the bottom, just in case you forget!

LiveGlam KissMe Gloss Lipstick in Glamrock – Retail Value $10.00

I don’t usually rock a real true red, but I don’t think this is the worst color on me! I appreciate the glossy formula because it is super shiny and you can build it up for different levels of drama. I have it on pretty thick for the photo above, but you could do one quick swipe and get a nice transparent red that I actually like much more than the full-blown red look, but then again, I do tend to lean more towards natural makeup. If you like a bold classic red that is super shiny and smells like frosting, this is a winner!

LiveGlam KissMe Liquid Matte Lipstick in Lucky Charm – Retail Value $10.00

This shade is a little closer to my comfort zone, though at first, I thought it was too orange. I wish this were a gloss or satin finish because I find mattes to be rather drying. This did dry down, but I tried my trick where I add lip balm to a matte and create a faux satin finish, and it worked very well. This also allowed me to wear it without discomfort and though it didn’t have the staying power of a matte finish anymore, it still stuck around for long enough IMO.

LiveGlam KissMe Liquid Matte Lipstick in Liprechaun – Retail Value $10.00

I saved the best for last. Or, the worst, depending on how you feel about green lips! This is absolutely not a color I would ever wear (ever!), but Marne and I were both excited to play with it. It was a little difficult to apply, but this might have been because the deep green color made any mistake REALLY obvious. I will say that this color was not as bad on me as I thought it would be, and it was kind of fun to try such an odd and out of character color on. It was another matte, but a color like this would almost have to be matte and stay in place well, or it would be an all over your face mess. This was rather difficult to remove and I had to use an oil to completely wipe it away.

Verdict: This month’s KissMe collection was more than a little adventurous! I actually am so surprised at how much I like the red, though at a much lower voltage than I modeled. It is going immediately into my purse because it is sheer enough to apply mirror free without error. That s a win for me! The peach is also pretty, though I would have liked a different finish. The green was literally so out of my comfort zone, but that might be my favorite one from this month because it was so unlike anything I would have ever tried. Will I ever wear it? Maybe for Halloween.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

  1. I swapped the green for a color I will actually wear. I just couldn’t see myself showing up at the kids schools wearing green lipstick. Lol!

    • Well, I bet it would be pickup they would never ever forget!

  2. I wear adventurous colors all the time, but a whole green tube of lipstick will never get used. Unfortunately I haven’t been happy with some of these formulas…they can be rather goopy and drying FYI

    • I just really avoid matte formulas because of the dryness factor. I know some people absolutely love them, but I find them flakey! The gloss formula I really loved

  3. I’m sorry but that green is ludicrous. Nobody would look cute in that. The only people who would wear it are people desperate for attention.

    • Def not an everyday color. Thanks for reading Jen!

  4. I don’t know how you women make EVERY lip color under the sun work for you! I swear my acceptable range is only rosy mauve to light berry. Period. Anything else makes me look dead, like a clown, or just frightening. So jealous!

    • Haha I appreciate that LB! I felt really absurd in the green if I am honest, but it was alteast a color I can say I have never ever had on.

  5. Wow! That red is stunning on you!!

    • Thanks Michelle! I may have to try red more often. I am usually much more subdued!

  6. Lucky charm is so your color

    • I really liked it too. I swear I own a million super similar shades/dupes! If it ain’t broke! Thanks, Mika! 🙂

  7. They all look so much fun! That green 1 is perfect for a St Patty’s day party. Just ordered!!

    • The green was a real adventure. Let me know what you think when you get yours!
