Harney & Sons is a fine tea company that offers two tea of the month subscriptions: a Premium Loose Tea Box, and a Premium Sachet Tea Box.

This is a review of the Premium Sachet Tea of the Month box, which is $14 a month.

Each month you receive a small info sheet with a few details about the tea included and the steeping times.

A few individually packed bags of tea are included as well. I love throwing these in my purse to have on hand, as the tea selections at the coffee shop at school are a bit subpar.

Victorian London Fog, Tin of 30 Sachets – Retail Value $10.95

This black tea is blended with citrus, vanilla, and lavender to evoke what a London Fog latte tastes like! I found the aroma to be more floral than it actually tasted, but I solved that by adding a bit of cream to my cup. I love London fogs, so this tea is a big win for me.

Earl Grey, Tin of 20 sachets – Estimated Value $5.99

I couldn’t find this exact tin online, so I linked to the larger size and based the value on what other 20 sachet tins go for. This is the classic earl grey, which is black tea blended with bergamot oil. My preferred way to drink this is with cream and sugar, and it is delicious hot and iced! This is a classic tea that surprisingly I didn’t already have in my extensive tea selection, so I am pleased to add this to the mix.

The Verdict: If you're a tea lover, you can't go wrong with the tea of the month club from Harney & Sons! I love getting new, high-quality teas mailed to my door, and the value is always more than the $14 a month cost. I am a big black tea fan, so this month was a perfect match for my tea-loving soul. I appreciate the small element of surprise that comes with this box because I never know if I will get something brand new or a tried and true favorite.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? You will likely receive the April box.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $14 with free shipping which means I saved about $3 off my tea tins, not included the free samples.

Wish they did a decaf only box. Love this brand but unable to consume caffeine.

I work for a café that makes a delicious and very easy Lavender London Fog. You brew a large batch of Earl Grey tea. And add lavender syrup (you can use Torani or another store brand) to it to taste. It lasts about 1 weeks. Add some steamed milk for a latte, which is delicious. 🙂
