Girl-a-Tude Box April 2019 “Positive Vibes” Review

Included in our box was a note for my four-year-old daughter from G-Girl that described our theme of “Positive Vibes.” I think that these notes are where Girl-a-Tude really shines! This note is all about how our body language and the things we say and do give off a “vibe” and it made for a great conversation between my daughter and me. She was exuberant in her expression of positivity and really made an effort, which was so rewarding to see as a parent! They also gave us a hint for next month’s theme, “you do it when you jump in the water,” which my daughter and I had fun brainstorming about.

“Positive Vibes” T-shirt

Our t-shirt came wrapped separately in tissue paper, which was exciting to her. As for the design, she really loved it when she first saw it! I thought the colors were great and this is actually a shirt I wouldn’t mind wearing as an adult either with that grayish oatmeal color and fun pastel rainbow!

This is a size Youth Small (6-8) and she usually wears a 6x so it is definitely a bit big on her, but it is very soft, comfortable, and super cute on her! The shirts they send are a bit nicer in quality than your average cotton tee and this one is made from 52% cotton, 48% polyester.

Rainbow Jump Rope

This jump rope is great for our rainbow theme and my daughter loves it! She has never actually tried jumping rope before so it was fun (and a little scary) trying to teach her. The handles are lightweight and made of thin plastic, but the rope itself is actually nice and thick and seems pretty sturdy, plus the rainbow colors are cute!

The last few items came wrapped up in their own bag.

Girl-a-Tude Pencil

We received three pencils, the first of which was a plain pencil with the phrase “I’ve got Girl-a-tude!” on it.

Rainbow Colored Pencils (2) – Similar pencils found here (there is no branding to confirm that these are the same!)

These rainbow colored pencils are so fun! They are actually triangular in shape making them easier to grip and every time you write you get a fun mix of colors that blend together. These pencils are a decent size too, so they should last a while, especially since we received two.

Rainbow Glitter Notebook – Buy 12 for $5.19

The next item we received was a mini spiral notebook with a rainbow glitter pattern on the front.

My daughter loves to draw so this was perfect for her. She got to work right away drawing with her rainbow pencils!

Rainbow & Sunshine Stickers – Buy 24 sheets for $4.19

The last item we received were these cute rainbow stickers to go along with our other art supplies.

Verdict: This was our second box from Girl-a-Tude and I really loved the message of “positive vibes” which goes right along with their mission of empowering young girls while focusing on traits other than just their physical appearance. Your attitude definitely makes a difference and relating it to rainbows was a great way to engage younger girls! The shirt was really cute and I thought the quality was good. As for the other items, they might not have held a lot of retail value, but they fit well with our theme and definitely appealed to my daughter who has already put every item to use multiple times. This box costs $23.51 ($17.99 + $5.52 shipping) and it’s really hard to say whether we are getting the retail value back out of it, but my daughter loved the items, and I love the unique message that this box sends. So overall, I am happy with what we received this month.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! From Girl-a-Tude:
