We get a handy card detailing all of the items in the box this month.
Also included is a card, with info on Aries season.
Let’s dive in!
Love by Luna ‘New Beginnings’ Intention Crystal Set – Listed Value $34.00
I have a pretty large crystal collection and the quickest way to my heart is with rocks. Or food. Either will do. This set contains 5 crystals each meant to help you set new intentions as we begin Aries season. Included are amethyst, peacock ore, a quartz point, a lump of pyrite, and some green calcite. They come tucked into a bag for safekeeping and with an informative card with the names of the stones and their metaphysical properties. You can find more crystal sets by Love by Lune here.
Green Calcite (Ours was chipped)
This has to be the largest eye shadow palette I have ever gotten. It is around 8 inches x 7.75 inches! It certainly won’t fit into most kits. When I opened up the lid I quickly understood why: there are 25 shadows artfully arranged in zodiac order with individual sign names. Some of the colors attached to certain signs surprised me. Who would have expected Aquarius to be a greenish/orange/gold? Aries was another surprise, as I associate it with firey red. I am a Leo and I was surprised to be a beautiful metallic blush. Regardless, the colors are quite pretty and the pigment is great, especially on the mattes. They blend easily and have a little fallout, but nothing horrible. The compact itself comes with a large built-in mirror and the center shade could be used as a highlighter as well as a shadow.
Metallics, Top to Bottom: Sagittarius, Scorpio, Libra, Virgo, Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Taurus, Aries, Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn

High on Love Sensual Bath Oil in Lavender Honeybee, 3.4 fl oz – Retail Value $29.72 ($40 CAD)
This glass bottle of bath oil is very pretty and would look great in any bathroom. The scent is a sweet lavender + honey blend. Meant to be poured into your bath for a scented soak, it would be a great winding down treat after a long day. The main oil in this formula is mineral oil, but it also contains hemp seed oil and skin-loving vitamin E. I also used this as a cuticle oil in a pinch and it felt fantastic!
Grace Eleyae Full/Queen Pillowcase – Retail Value $34.95 (was on sale for $26.21 but is now sold out)
Satin pillowcases are used by tons of people to keep their hair smooth while they sleep and be an easier, softer texture for your delicate facial skin to rest on each night. I generally don’t love them because I wear tons of oils and heavy creams on my face at night and it isn’t a great visual in the morning (YUCK). That being said, even I can’t deny that my thick, unruly hair has improved texture after sleeping on a satin pillowcase. I really like this blush color and will likely reserve it for those nights when I go a little lighter on my skincare routine, or when my hair needs a little extra smoothing comfort. If I ever feel like being super extra or I win the lottery, I would LOVE to buy and try out a real silk pillowcase. Until then, this poly/spandex blend will have to do.
Teleties – Listed Value $7.00
I have taken to using these springy style hair ties over the traditional elastics so I never mind adding a few more to my stash. Especially as I am very predisposed to losing them! This pair consists of a cute thinner leopard print band and a thicker clear and white option.
Verdict: This box has a LISTED retail value of approximately $132.67. That is a pretty great value for a $35.99 box IF you liked the majority of the 5 offered items. The eyeshadow palette has an insane amount of colors and should make many eyeshadow enthusiasts and palette collectors very happy. My favorite items this month would absolutely be the crystals and bath oil, but if you read any of my reviews you knew these items would have me hook, line, sinker. The satin pillowcase and hair ties were nice additions and should prove useful to many subscribers. I feel like this box is still super hit or miss, and although the overall curation feels much more solid this month than in others, I still feel like I am missing something, which might just be consistency across multiple months.
