Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2019 Review

I sometimes find the dog version of Pet Treater a little bit random but the cat version (maybe because it is smaller) is often a little more focused.

Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Sticker

There’s not a traditional information card with this subscription, but you get a couple of inserts including a humorous sticker. Sometimes there is also product literature.

Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Catnip 1 Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Catnip 2

From the Field Ultimate Blend Sample Silver Vine and Catnip Mix – Buy 0.5 oz for $9.36

This little packet looks to be smaller than the smallest size available online, so I haven’t given a value since it isn’t clear to me how much you get. From the Field items are usually pretty potent and Madison, in particular, is a fan. I sprinkled a little on him to gauge his reaction but I’m going to dump the rest on his favorite scratch pad.

Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Treats

Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Minnows (0.5 oz) – Retail Value $9.67

I strongly suggest taking that retail value with a grain of salt. I can only find this from third-party sellers on Amazon so they may have increased the price since this is a rare treat (I think it may have been discontinued?). Anyway, I find these absolutely disgusting because they are whole little freeze-dried fish with the eyes and everything, but Sneaky thought they were great (she was the only cat who would touch them). Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a good picture of her eating one because I refused to touch these with my fingers and Sneaky was grabbing from the tweezers too fast.

Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Wobbler

Kathy Ireland Loved Ones Wobble Fish Catnip Toy – Retail Value $5.99

This is another item that can only be purchased as a closeout or from third-party sellers on Amazon. That’s not to say my cats don’t like it, because they do – the feather thing on top was a huge hit, and there are at least three interesting textures on the toy part, and it really does work pretty well as a wobbler.

Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Collar

Collar with Bowtie

This was unbranded and not in any kind of packaging so it’s difficult to assign a value. At any rate, I’m never going to complain about a chance to put my cats in a costume (see some models below).

Gratuitous cat photos:

Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Monkey 1

Monkey is probably my most cooperative model these days.

Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Sneaky 1

Sneaky is NOT a cooperative model.

Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Madison 1 Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Madison 2 Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Madison 3

Madison didn’t really like wearing the tie but was pretty happy when I sprinkled the catnip stuff on him.

Pet Treater Cat March 2019 - Sparkles 1

Mr. Kitty was peeved at being awakened from his afternoon nap in the sunny window.  He is a Grumpy Old Man.

Verdict: I was unable to calculate a total value for the March 2019 Pet Treater Cat Pack since I had trouble finding one item online, another was a sample size that’s unavailable for purchase, and two were from third-party sellers on Amazon with suspicious prices. This subscription costs $15 per month so the average price per item is about $3.75 and that is generally reasonable from month to month.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you’d receive April’s package as your first shipment. Also, there may be some variation among boxes sent during the same month.

Value Breakdown: At $15 per month for this subscription, you are paying approximately $3.75 per item.

Poor Mr.Kitty. He just looks so sad and miserable. I hate to see animals suffer 😥

That code for the free pet bed does not work.

Oops. I am so used to getting bowties for cats that I automatically inserted that word when I meant necktie.

That is not a bow tie.

Cat’s always look like they’re being punished when outfits are put on them. Lol.

Silvervine though, they love that stuff!
