I ordered the March and Feb box but I got 2 March boxes. I contacted Target and they will send me a replacement Feb Box.

I actually love Shea Moisture products but I am going to have to pass on this. I would only use two of the items in the box, so it’s not worth it. Perhaps I will change my mind as the month continues.

Well, considering I’m allergic to both shea butter and argan oil, it’s an easy pass for me. *Shrugs*

I detest SheaMoisture product, dont even know why. Is something wrong with me?

I tried a couple of SheaMoisture products and didnt like them either. I also didn’t like the Love Beauty & Planet Smooth lavender hair products, I thought they weren’t as good as Costco brand that I use. This is also a hard pass for me.

Nothing’s wrong with you Svetlana 😉 Sometimes products that are loved by the masses just won’t work for us as individuals. We all like different things, and that’s okay! I know there are certain brands that everybody loves, but they just didn’t really do it for me. I would never say something is a bad brand or product or that something is “over-hyped”, but just that it didn’t work for me. 🙂

Luna, you are so nice 🙂

I still have plenty of shampoo and conditioner from previous boxes. Hard pass.

I grabbed two. I have three daughters and we avoid silicones so this is right up our alley.

Ok, I gave in and got one. I want to try the lavender scents of the shampoo and conditioner, plus the Shea moisture items. And I do like bliss products.
Still waiting to see if the February box will drop to $5.
I checked earlier this morning for the new beauty box, and they had some of those Christmas time boxes that were 14.99. Or there now, but I thought that was weird.

*Not there now is what I meant about the random 14.99 boxes.

C’mon Target… I’d like to try some new brands!!!

The SheaMoisture Silicone Free Miracle Styler Leave-In Treatment looks to be full size.

And I was just at Ulta looking at that spray deciding wether or not to buy it. Good thing I decided against it. I got it here.

I think it’s actually slightly bigger than the full size. Listed full size is 3.4 fl oz and the one in the box says 3.5 fl oz. Such a good value and I love trying new hair and skin products. I have plenty of other boxes for makeup honestly.

=I know last month I was annoyed because it was mostly hair stuff, but I think I’ll actually order it this time. Every time I’ve gone to Target lately (including THREE times yesterday), I’ve circled around that specific Love Beauty & Planet shampoo and conditioner, but they don’t have that one in the trial sizes at either of my Targets (just the blue one). And I use the Bliss Gold Rescue already and I could really use another one for days when I’m *forced* to shower in my “other” bathroom and I could use the toner in there as well so I’m not constantly moving stuff!

You’re absolutely right about it being hair heavy again…what’s the deal Target? Yes I got one.

I snagged one. That Bliss cleanser sounds nice, and I’d really love to try that Shea Moisture mist. I love all Shea Moisture products I’ve tried, so I’m sure I’ll love that leave-in spray, and I recently used a Tresemme hair mask that I really liked, so I’m looking forward to trying that too. I’m sure I already have samples of that Love & Planet shampoo & conditioner scent, so I’ll gift those to my mom who loves anything lavender.

I love the Bliss cleanser. My only suggestion, from recent personal experience, is to make sure you don’t inhale while washing your face with it! It buuuuurns!!! 🙂

Luna
I’ll definitely keep that in mind! 😀 Thanks!
JuJu
That means that it’s harmful and you should stop using it immediately.

Whatever happened to *beauty* boxes? Too much hair stuff in every box. When was the last time they even offered makeup in one of these?
I feel like for a long time now Target has been phoning it in.
Yawn.

I agree. I used to buy these every month! That’s not been the case this past year or so. I enjoyed when they had actual make up in them, not all these hair products. it’s been overkill on the hair samples from them.

And it doesn’t have to be make-up, what happened to deodarants, razors, cotton pads, face wipes???? All the stuff I never had to buy because I always had one on hand.

It’s called a beauty box not a makeup box, though. It seems that Target defines beauty as more than just make up, skin care and hair care are included. I’m glad that there is not just make up included ( I don’t need another mini mascara or lip stick in a weird color). There has been a little too much Love Beauty and Planet hair care lately but I appreciate trying out new skin care.

JuJu
It’s MOSTLY hair care though, every single month, which is not beauty. I mean, it would be something of a stretch to call a primarily hair care box – a beauty one.
Besides, it’s not like they send large sizes of skincare samples either when they do include them.
Sally
I’m looking forward to trying out the items in this month’s box. But I do agree with you that it would be nice to have make-up in some of these boxes.

I’m with you. I don’t like the LBP shampoo/conditioner. Doesn’t leave my hair feeling clean at all. I’d like to try the Bliss, but nothing else in this box is calling to me. Don’t want hair stuff, cause I’ll just never end up using it. Too lazy haha. But I would like to have more skincare and makeup

Jessica
There was a lipstick in one of the February special boxes.
I’m glad to not have makeup, personally. I equate beauty with skin and haircare and have no use for makeup I don’t select myself.

I jumped on Target’s website early this am only to find an easy pass. Don’t need anymore haircare products. Looking forward to April and the Whole Foods beauty bag later this month.
For those that got one, enjoy!

What’s the Whole Foods Beauty Bag? Link?
Reply
Luna
Oh! And they usually sell out fairly quickly… within minutes in some stores, a few hours in most, and a few days in a handful of stores. Also, I believe you can pre-order the bag (or maybe just have someone hold it for you?) in the Whole Body department, then pick it up in the store when they go live. At least that way you won’t have to worry about it selling out before you can get to the store.
Luna
To add on to Jennifer’s post, in prior years, the Whole Foods Beauty Bag has only been sold in stores, and never online. Plus, last year they implemented a one bag per person rule. I’m lucky enough to have a multiple Whole Foods near me (with two of them being within 10 minutes of my work!), so I able to make a couple of runs and grab one for me & my mom. MSA always posts about them, so if you’re interested at looking at prior bags, you could probably do a search using “Whole Foods” . 🙂
Jennifer Davis
Every March they put out a beauty bag in stores for $20. It’s awesome. They probably won’t release ad until mid month.
Trish
Thanks for posting. I just snagged this one!

Not a fan of the Love Beauty Planet shampoo and conditioner. They made my hair feel really gross.
