HangSquad March 2019 "Spring Fling" Review
These are the questions from the Style Profile that you fill out when you set up your account. They also ask for your Instagram name which is how they track which earrings you comment on and like so they can possibly include them in a future box.
This is the card that was included in the box to describe which style of earrings I received. This month I received a pair of Simple & Sleek and a pair of Classic Beauty. While there is no indication of a theme within the box, they have started with some cute themes on their website and social media accounts. This month they had a fun theme of "Spring Fling" that features a lot of fun florals and colors.
Black Marble and Gold "Bulb" Earrings - Estimated Value $18 (based on the price of similar earrings in their shop)
This is a pair that I had seen on Instagram and "liked" because they are just my style! I love the gold and the fun marble detail on the stone. They had these in white as well and I couldn't decide which I liked more, but seeing these in person, I definitely think the black was the best choice for me!
While these aren't exactly studs, they are still tiny enough that they can work for any outfit or occasion. I love the way that they fit in my ears and I can see myself wearing these often!
Matte Gold Double Hoop Earrings - Estimated Value $18.00 (based on the price of similar earrings in their shop)
I am not sure I am much of a hoop earring girl, but these are so fun and versatile that I think I've changed my mind! The matte gold finish is really nice and the thick hoop with flat sides gives them such a different look than traditional hoops. Plus, these can be worn two different ways!
How cute are these on? They are so simple but have just enough flash to dress up a casual outfit. I really like the look of them a lot more than I thought I would.
If the longer hoops aren't your style, you could easily remove the bottom hoop to create an even more simple look with the single small hoop. It really feels like getting two pairs in one since they are so versatile!
This is the feedback form that you fill out once you receive your earrings. I like that they ask you what you would like to see next time. It makes it so easy to change up your style preferences for the next month or to request something specific! I have not had a month yet where my requests weren't taken into consideration.
The Verdict: I really loved the selections from HangSquad this month! I feel like they always send me one pair that plays it safe and is completely my style, but then they take me just a bit outside my comfort zone with the second pair and I always end up being pleasantly surprised. While my style is pretty simple and basic, they offer such a wide range of earrings, some that are super bright and colorful. You can check out a lot of their styles on their social media pages which will give you an idea of their range. This is such a unique service that tailors to their subscribers making it feel so personal. I think its a great value for $22 per month plus free shipping for such a fun surprise and quality earrings.
