Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. You can shop Fabletics in two ways—you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $19.00 for new members. (I'm not sure if "new members" refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you'd get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you'll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
The key takeaway here is that this subscription won't automatically send you monthly packages like other services do. You have to hop into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

Fabletics Spring Sweatshirt & Cashel Leggings Review

Bliss 2-Piece Outfit, Size Medium Top, Size Large Leggings - Retail Price $109.90, Member price $69.95
Here's my outfit for the month! The blue tones of this look really drew me in. I've also been interested in trying their Cashel leggings, which are the type that have the ruched fabric on the calves/ankles.
I realized after putting this top on that I already got a pink version of this 60% cotton, 40% polyester sweatshirt in a previous order. I love that sweatshirt—it has a nice lightweight and a boxy shape that's pretty flattering to me—so no worries there. I really like this blue, though. I could go either way on the waistline, which you can either cinch up or leave smooth, but I'm a big fan of the mock neckline.
Here are the Cashel leggings. Technically they're "Cashel Foldover Powerform Leggings." The first thing I noticed about these leggings is how lightweight they were—not wimpy or thin, just light and breezy compared to the thicker fabrics I'm used to with Fabletics' Salar PowerHold leggings (which I love). They're honestly just what I need for spring/summer. The black sections are made with an even lighter fabric that reminded me of soft, breathable, basketball-short-style material. I wore these to a particularly sweaty yoga class and they were amazing. They stayed in place but never felt restrictive nor stuffy in the least, even after 90 minutes of work. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for more Cashel styles for my next order.
The Verdict: Fabletics rarely disappoints. I love that the items they're offered this month were aligned with the changing seasons—my thicker Salar leggings are still going to get plenty of use this summer, but I like knowing I have a slightly lighter pair handy for sweatier workouts or jogs on hot days. And as usual, I appreciate that what I get fits my body reliably well.
