Here are the new Summer 2019 Shirt Styles:

The Unstainable Maxwell

Classic, but with a twist—the perfect description of The Maxwell. We crafted this sophisticated navy button-up in our Vegan Silk® fabric and treated it with our Unstainable® fabric technology to keep you safe from all water-, oil-, and alcohol-based spills. To add dimension, used the opposite crepe-side of the fabric for the covered placket, mandarin collar, and cuffs. The Maxwell also features convertible sleeves with delicate gold buttons so you can get down to business. The twist? We added a triangular cut out under the back neck to keep you feeling trendy and office-friendly. Pair The Maxwell with The Swan skirt for weekday chic or with your favorite light-wash jeans for a casual feel.

The Unstainable Harper

If you want to feel like a million dollars, add The Harper to your Summer Box. The beautiful sapphire tone of our Vegan Silk® will instantly brighten your day and the sleek clean-finish stitching throughout will help you look polished (even though you woke up at 6am to help get everyone else ready). Use the belt of this wrap top to create an instant waist for an ultra-feminine silhouette and let our Unstainable® fabric technology protect you from accidental coffee spills, salad dressing splatters, and more. We also added a hidden 'gap snap' at the bust so you don't have to worry about your bra making any unwanted appearances during the day. Tuck The Harper into some high-waisted jeans or showcase the high-low split hem over your favorite work pants (may we recommend The Brooks?).

The Unstainable Whitney

Get in a summer state of mind even while at your desk with the help of The Whitney. This comfortable jersey tee was made for Casual Fridays at the office and barbecues on the weekend. Wherever you wear The Whitney, we made sure to protect this grey ombre brush print with our Unstainable® fabric technology, which is no match for ketchup splatters or sangria spills. We love how sleek The Whitney looks when paired with a black pant—whether it be your favorite pair of jeans for drinks with your best friend or a trouser like The Banks for reviewing a project with your coworker.

Here are the Unstainable Suit Styles:

The Unstainable Avery

Unleash your inner Cool Girl with The Avery. Slide into this layered cutaway jacket and admire how the sleek angles and clean finish stitching of the Ponte knit come together to form the perfect work or weekend staple. On the outside, our Unstainable® fabric technology will protect you from all water-, oil-, and alcohol-based stains, while the Sweat-Proof™ lining on the inside wicks away sweat and kills 99.9% of all odor-causing bacteria. Oh, did we mention the pockets? This jacket not only has two large, functional outer pockets, but two lipstick pockets and three card slot pockets sewn into the inner lining to keep you hands free and ready for anything.

The Unstainable Brooks

Crafted in a summery heather grey Ponte knit, The Brooks features all the little things you've come to love about our suit separates. Functional pockets that allow you to actually hold things? Check. Adjustable hems to keep you looking tailored whether you're sporting flats or pumps? You bet. Unstainable® fabric technology to protect you from the variety of coffee, wine, or salad dressing mishaps you might encounter during the day? Done. We also added a button in addition to the hook-and-bar closure at the waist for extra security. Pair these with The Avery to complete your look.

The Unstainable Swan

It's about time we made another Unstainable® skirt, huh? The Swan is here and ready to take your summer workwear game to the next level while repelling water-, oil-, and alcohol-based spills like coffee, salad dressing, or wine. We cut the panels of this light heather grey Ponte knit fabric on the bias to create just the right amount of eye-catching movement. An elastic waistband makes this skirt comfortable to wear and the silicone 'no-slip' grip on the inside keeps your skirt from twisting and ending up backward before lunchtime. We recommend pairing this skirt with your favorite Unstainable® white blouse or even The Liz Lemon for the perfect Casual Friday look.

Just signed up. I like that they take me a little out of my comfort zone. That’s what I want in a subscription. I tend to get stuck in a rut. I do have a job that the dress is more business casual so these work in great with what I wear. I find it amusing that the dark blue top doesn’t look all that summery and even the sleeveless top, I will probably be more likely to wear later in the year as part of a going out outfit.

I skip this season. I’ve been skipping their summer season, as I like their Fall/Winter design more. I was hoping for some soft linen pieces like they used to a few seasons ago.

I am just not getting the wear out of the shirts I’ve purchased from them the last few seasons so I cancelled. The unique touches to otherwise simple, yet classic pieces have been a big turnoff for me. With the exception of two, I don’t reach for their tops as often as I would like to. The fit is inconsistent. Their customer service is great though.

Love all 3 of these, asymmetrical lines and all! I may be in the minority, but I love the asymmetry and interesting details of E&C designs. For me, they definitely fulfill their original mission to provide classic styles–but they’re also very original. I don’t need a subscription for basic, boring tops, but if I need a replacement white button-down, E&C has those too. This has been one of my very favorite boxes for years.

What is their obsession with asymmetry? It makes everything looks ill-fitting.

Upon further inspection of The Unstainable Whitney I noticed the sleeves are designed uneven. They would have had me if the sleeves were design even.

I was so excited for that shirt until I saw the sleeves. What a mess! I love E&C but their attempts at making pieces edgy can be way overboard. The shirt would’ve been perfect without the weird sleeves 🙁 No workplace would consider that look professional…it looks sloppy.

I love the other 2 shirts. Definitely don’t have enough blue in my closet.

Agreed! I wish they go back to the old days. I still have and, regularly use. 3 shirts from about 5 years bacak.

Their mission started as a providing good quaility neutral shirts so your complement your outfits throgh the Season but they want to be de designers. I just realized I’ve been hoping for them to go back to their style for 3 years now and they are a totally different company now.
