Clean Beauty Box from Art of Organics February 2019 Review
Each box comes with a booklet detailing the month’s products, prices, and brands.
LILFOX Cleopatra Restorative Milk + Honey Beauty Mask, full-size 3.4 oz. – Retail Value $88.00
Y’all know I love a clay powder mask and of course, I love this pretty packaging.
This smells divine and is packed with so many amazing ingredients that it’s just too long to list (but you can check them out here)!
The powder is incredibly fine and soft and says it’s suitable for all skin types. As with powder masks, all you need to do is add water, or my favorite way (like they suggest with this one), with rose water. Since they’ve also included the Aphrodite Rose Toning Mist, I’ll be using that to create a lovely paste to spread on my skin. The mask turns into a beautiful brick red color and can be easily spread across your whole face or target areas. The directions suggest 20-40 minutes and to use the toning mist on it to extend the experience. I simply love masks like this because once they’re removed, my skin feels so fresh and new.
LILFOX Aphrodite Rose Quartz Infused Rose Toning Mist, 1.7 oz. – Listed Retail Value $24.00 (Buy a 3.4 oz bottle for $40.00)
Also included is their smaller size of rose quartz infused rose toning mist. While I have several different bottles of rose toner, this one is slightly different due to its inclusion of the rose quartz which I love since it incorporates metaphysical properties to open your heart chakra.
This has a really pleasant yet powerful scent (if you love rose as I do) and can be used after cleansing day or night, anytime you feel your face needs a refreshing spritz, or how I used it with a powder mask above. I can’t believe that I didn’t use toner for most of my life. I don’t want to think about those dark days!
Verdict: My first brush with the Clean Beauty Box was a wonderful one! If you’ve read my other beauty reviews, you know I love clean beauty and appreciate when brands choose quality over quantity. Receiving two natural products that contain a lot of organic ingredients always feels luxurious to me and well worth the money. This box costs $41.95 but I received $112.00 worth of product.
