Man, this pin would have been great to wear for my city’s Krampusnacht event we had, but alas it came later in the month! I thoroughly enjoyed the Krampus movie and saw it in theaters, but I don’t feel this pin necessarily captures the Krampus character terribly well because it is so dark in coloring. Maybe the art didn’t translate well into the enamel pin. This is one of three variants to get you in the holiday spirit! As always, the back has two pins with the rubber clasps to keep your enamel pin in place. This will look great on a jean jacket or my faux leather biker jacket! Wear it next year with your favorite ugly horror themed holiday sweater!

Patrick Bateman Replica Business Card from American Psycho

Got my new card, what do you think? Do you like the coloring? That's "Bone". And the lettering is something called "Silian Rail.” It has a nice thickness… and is a replica of Patrick Bateman’s business card in American Psycho. This was a movie that my friends and I quoted in college often, so I was rather amused to see this piece included in BAM! Horror’s selections this month.

Poly-Resin Self Defense Keychains

This item has nothing to do with a horror chain, but it’s definitely my favorite piece! I love self-defense keyrings, so I was stoked to see this as a selection! Also, it is a scorpion and I am a Scorpio, so it made me even happier! This piece is not a novelty item whatsoever, this is no joke--- those pincers are incredibly pointy! Someone could be maimed or immensely hurt if you used this on them! Thanks, BAM! Horror for keeping me spooky AND safe!

BAM! Box signing with Heather Langenkamp aka Nancy from The Nightmare on Elm Street

One of the penultimate scream queens, Heather Langenkamp, signed this 8x10—I am living! If you are an 80s horror movie fan like me, I know you are freaking out as well! This is by far one of the coolest signed photos that BAM! Horror sent in a subscription box. I actually squealed when I saw this, no joke! This ties in wonderfully for the last two months that included The Nightmare on Elm Street signed photos!

BAM! Box Exclusive Tall Man from Phantasm Fan Art Collection Art Print by Artist Bianca Thompson

Finally, we have this art print of Tall Man from the Phantasm movies. The colors on this print are vivid and have an airbrushed/graffiti quality to them. I also like the limited edition variant that as in a moody, monochromatic blue!

Verdict: This month’s BAM! Horror Box was an improvement from last month’s box. I loved the Scorpion self-defense keychain and the awesome Heather Langenkamp signed 8x10! The other pieces I was indifferent about, but I can always gift or trade them with other BAMMERS on the BAM! Site. This month had a wide selection from different movie chains, so it was enjoyable. I still am over the moon that I have a signed photo from The Nightmare on Elm Street’s Nancy—too cool! That alone made the box well worth it this month!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the February box. From Bam!

Your box will ship on the 28th of every month. Please order by 5 pm on the 17th to get the current box.

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $26.99 + $7.99 shipping, which means that each of the 5 items in the box has an average cost of $7.00.

Luna

I’m a huge-mongous horror movie fan, and about two or three years ago my brother went to our local Comi-Con that Robert Englund attended, and he surprised me with a signed Freddy Krueger photo that said, “Luna is my next victim!” -Freddy and he signed his real name. I think that made my year! Lol! Oh! And I even have the red & green striped Freddy Krueger sweater (& a matching knit hat) I wear each holiday season, but about 98% of people think I’m just being extra festive. 😀 😀 😀 But it makes it that much more cooler when someone recognizes it!

Luna, omg I love it! That is too cool! I love what he signed you and your sweater! I have seen some cool Freddy ugly sweaters online too! Like ones with him on it as the design. Same with Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees.

CAUTION! In some states (like Texas) carrying a self defense keychain is very illegal. It can land you in jail and/or with some hefty fines…. This box looks awesome and fun, though! I just didn’t want anyone to get into trouble over it.

Totally! Yeah, I never take mine when I fly! I appreciate that info. I learned the hard way taking one into a courthouse. Haha. Luckily, it only got taken off of me.
