Luxe Catch is a monthly themed women’s surprise fashion box with a mix of clothing, accessories, jewelry, handbags/small leather goods, beauty, and footwear. Some brands you might expect to see are Ralph Lauren, Kate Spade, Coach, YSL, True Religion, Elie Tahari, Tory Burch, and more (basically any popular designer sold in major department stores today, can be featured in your future catch).

Luxe Catch just redesigned their packaging. It looks great! These boxes are the perfect way to store out of season items in a cute and safe way.

Luxe Catch offers two different levels of subscription: Bargain Box for $50 per month (valued up to $200) and Posh Box for $250 a month (valued at up to $1000). The Posh Box includes more items and guarantees contemporary brands or higher.

This is the review of the Luxe Catch Posh Box. Check out our review of this month's Bargain Box too!

Luxe Catch September 2018 - Style

Then you choose your style from a selection of style boards and your favorite types of clothing. Lastly, you fill out a size profile. Here you can see the style board I choose, “The Dramatic.”

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Luxe Catch Posh Box “Goal Digger” January 2019 Review

January's theme is “Goal Digger” and will have everything you need to stay stylish while you're slaying your goals in 2019. Orders for this box were December 1-31 (shipped in January). I received this image in the theme spoiler email. Luxe Catch asks for your preference and you also have the option to let them know of any special requests. This is a great opportunity to work with the stylists to find something that is right for you.

You can post a picture of your catch on social media (and tag Luxe catch) for a chance to win a free box!

With the posh box, I received a print out with "The Luxe Find" – a short fashion article to help you get the most out of your catch and your closet – on the front and a specific breakdown of the items and values on the back.

Value and savings breakdown for my Posh Catch! This month, all three pieces are from Nicole Miller's Artelier.

Nicole Miller Crinkle Satin Black Crepe Blazer, Size M - Original MSRP $375

I have a few blazers, but I don't have any with a menswear cut like this. I usually don't like boxy but when done the right way, like this, it can be so flattering. I really like it unbuttoned and paired with a white tee and jeans for a casual look. It pulls me together with no effort. Plus, it's super comfortable and I have plenty of room to move my arms. There are small shoulder pads for some definition and the interior is gorgeously constructed with finished seams, enclosed pockets, and bright red piping around the collar.

Here it is buttoned up. While this isn't how I'd wear it normally, I like that I still have room to move. I like the length of the body but am really impressed that the arms are the perfect length for me. This crepe blazer is made from 82% viscose, 15% rayon, and 2% spandex and lined with silky polyester.

Four mother of pearl buttons show on the outside of the jacket with two tabs to button up.

There is an interior button and tab to help keep it straight when buttoned up.

Nicole Miller Leather Pant, Size 6 - Original MSRP $495

Luxe Catch must know how much I love black and leather finishes. The front of these skinny pants is 100% sheep leather and sooo buttery and soft. The back side is a slightly stretchy twill that is matte which creates a nice contrast to the texture of the leather. The back has a satin lining too so it twists and moves with my body without pulling. I actually appreciate that the whole pant isn't leather; it makes it feel a little more wearable for me. Plus, it's cooler and more comfortable. The high-rise makes for a sleek silhouette under any style top and the pockets are functional. Yay!

Nicole Miller Solid Silk Asymmetrical Ruffle Blouse, Size M - Original MSRP $275

The beautiful silk top I received is only my other most favorite color for my wardrobe – cobalt blue! I'm crazy for a good asymmetrical cut and this one is subtle but interesting. First, the left shoulder is accented by a black mesh panel and secondly, the hem is cut slightly longer on the left with a ribbon of fabric flowing from the ruffle. I'm thrilled that I have enough room in the bust because there isn't any stretch in this top. The buttoned opening at the back of the neckline makes getting it over my head easy and I appreciate the extra button sewn onto the tag. I realize I need to steam...it's (always) on my to-do list.

Here are all three pieces together as an outfit. I'm loving the different textures of black! I'm ready to crush any meeting now.

The Verdict: The "Goal Digger" theme is perfect for the start of the new year considering most of us are reevaluating and resetting goals to better ourselves. Whether that's in fitness, relationships, or career, a confidence-boosting outfit can really set you up for success. I'm digging my selections for this month. The colors, fabrics, and textures are all so luxe and beautiful! I can't get over how well constructed the blazer is and how perfectly everything fits. The one negative I have is that all three items are dry clean only. But, I guess if I'm going to have luxe clothing, I'm going to have to get used to taking luxe care of them. I'm confident I can do it! 🙂 February's theme is “Winter Wonderland” and is going to include chilly weather-ready items to help you stay toasty AND stylish. I'm seeing some hints about either a "cozy day in" look or a "wintry day out and about" look.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? The “Goal Digger” box sign up period has passed but you can check out the current theme on their Insta feed. If you sign up on February 1-28, you'll receive the  "In Bloom" March box as your first catch.

Value Breakdown: This month I received both the Bargain Box and Posh Box (check out our reviews here!) and below is a comparison:

  • The Posh Box costs $250. The blazer, pants, and top I received are from Nicole Miller's Artelier and have a combined MSRP of $1,145. So, I saved $895 off of MSRP and got a 78% discount.
  • The Bargain Box costs $50. The blazer is from Nanette Lepore and had an MSRP of $128. So, I saved $48 off of MSRP and got a 62% discount.

I ordered the feb box, but even at 50% off I couldn’t be more disappointed. The curation was terrible: my items were almost identical, had no link at all to the “in bloom” theme, and didn’t match my style profile. They also ignored my choice from the choice items email. To top things off, I was fobbed off by customer service when I complained. I advise against this box.

Did anyone else not receive their box? Mine was “returned to sender” on March 8th and I haven’t heard anything.

The 50% off February code doesn’t work! Does anyone know how to apply the discount?

Omg I am loving those pants!!!

Interesting, but their no returns or exchanges is a bit daunting. What if something doesn’t fit, or I don’t like it? Also, I didn’t like much shown on the style page and none of the categories fit me.

I have that same worry/ but I know my sizes really well. Their customer service also helped me decide which way to go when I was between sizes- they know what’s coming and they know the brands. I haven’t not liked anything yet. Even if at first I wasn’t wowed I put it on and damn, they’re good. Everything has original tags on so I’m sure you could sell to recoup- I personally am interested in more items- especially is someone was getting rid of them at their cost- not some crazy markup. Probs why I love the posh box- so many items per box!

Wow. I cant believe this. I went to their website because of this review and started doing the style quiz. To my surprise, they only go upto size 12 or so. Yeah… because real women don’t need clothes. Oh well, that’s better for my wallet!

I’m 87lbs and a size 00 and I’m a real woman.

Jane

I’m 87lbs and a size 00 and I assure you that I am a real woman. Why do you say only curvy women are real women? Because I was born with genes that give me no curves I’m not real? Why would you say that? Some of us are naturally extremely thin and there’s not a thing we can do about it.

ALL women are real. ALL sizes are real.

Designer subs can’t cater to large sizes because designers don’t cater to large sizes. Some designers don’t even go past size 8! Is it right? No. But unfortunately, there are very few designers who know how to create pieces that flatter a large range of body types.

Me being under a size 12 does not mean I am not real. I exist.
