Some brands you might expect to see are Ralph Lauren, Kate Spade, Coach, YSL, True Religion, Elie Tahari, Tory Burch, and more (basically any popular designer sold in major department stores today, can be featured in your future catch).

Luxe Catch just redesigned their packaging. It looks great! These boxes are the perfect way to store out of season items in a cute and safe way.

Luxe Catch offers two different levels of subscription: Bargain Box for $50 per month (valued at $200+) and Posh Box for $250 a month (valued at up to $1000). The Posh Box includes more items and guarantees contemporary brands or higher.

This is the review of the Luxe Catch Bargain Box. Our Posh Box review is coming soon!

Luxe Catch Bargain Box “Goal Digger” January 2019 Review

January's theme is “Goal Digger” and will have everything you need to stay stylish while you're slaying your goals in 2019. Orders for this box were December 1-31 (shipped in January). I received this image in the theme spoiler email. Luxe Catch asks for your preference and you also have the option to let them know of any special requests. This is a great opportunity to work with the stylists to find something that is right for you.

You can post a picture of your catch on social media (and tag Luxe Catch) for a chance to win a free box!

With the Bargain Box, I received an info sheet with the invoice and a few tips to style my Catch.

Value and savings breakdown for my Bargain Catch!

blazer zipped

Nanette Lepore Faux Leather Ponte Blazer, Size 6 - Original MSRP $128

Oh my! I could not have chosen something more my style myself! The silhouette is so amazing and it fits like a glove. I first tried it completely zipped up and I love how sleek it looked. The peplum shape is visible and the zipper has an elongating effect. I'm a fan of the combo textures too. The faux leather is structured (with a little stretch) and the fabric back and arms make the slim cut comfortable.

blazer unzipped

This blazer can also be worn unzipped for more of a jacket style. I still think it's cute, but I prefer wearing it zipped up. It will be a perfect lightweight jacket for nights out in the upcoming transitional weather.

blazer back

The faux leather wraps around the back only at the bottom. This really helps the peplum flare stand out. I do need to do some ironing back there.

zipper detail

I'm so happy with the neckline; it's U shape creates a little bit of length but it isn't so low that I'd need coverage underneath. For me, this is important. If I'm wearing an already sassy silhouette like this, I don't need any other elements (like low cuts) to detract from it. I also like that the zipper is pretty and has an elegant zipper pull.

blazer interior

The faux leather is 100% PU and the combo fabric which makes up the arms, upper back, and the lining is a mix of rayon, nylon, and spandex. The seams are neat and not scratchy. The zipper is backed and there is an extra swath of fabric around the full collar for structure and comfort.

The Verdict:  The "Goal Digger" theme is perfect for the start of the new year considering most of us are reevaluating and resetting goals to better ourselves. Whether that's in fitness, relationships, or career, a confidence-boosting outfit can really set you up for success. Not only is this blazer a perfect style match for me, but it also fits perfectly and makes me feel GOOD! I absolutely would have bought this for myself for full price in store, so I feel that the cost of the Luxe Catch Bargain Box really paid off this month. February's theme is “Winter Wonderland” and is going to include chilly weather-ready items to help you stay toasty AND stylish. I'm seeing some hints about either a "cozy day in" look or a "wintry day out and about" look.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? The “Goal Digger” box sign up period has passed but you can check out the current theme on their Insta feed. If you sign up on February 1-28, you'll receive the "In Bloom" March box as your first catch.

LIMITED TIME DEAL: Use code MSAROCKSFEB to save 50% off your first box! (a limited quantity of boxes will be available)

ACTIVE DEAL: Save 20% off your first box!
CODE: MSAROCKS

Value Breakdown: The Bargain Box costs $50. The blazer had an MSRP of $128. So, I saved $48 off of MSRP and got a 62% discount. That's some pretty incredible savings.

Any review of the February box? I signed up and I am really looking forward to March’s outfits. I had a TON of issues with the codes and ended up paying full price. Wasn’t thrilled, but willing to give it a try.

Do you know what other profiles receive?

Thank you

Does anyone have a 50% off code?

It worked! Thank you 🙂

I got the same blazer – at first I was a little skeptical (I am generally not a fan of peplums) but once I started trying it on with items I am in LOVE with it!! I’ve worn it for multiple client meetings unzippered with black pants (I got ones from Stitch Fix with zippered ankles so they coordinate) and a button down shirt and it looks and feels like a stylish power suit. I’m sure I’ll start wearing it even more once the weather heats up!

I tried this box last month and was extremely disappointed. For $50 plus $14 for shipping I got Nanette Lepore black jacket which originally costs $148. I didn’t like it, it didn’t fit me well, was too long. Ok, maybe it how it is suppose to be and I just don’t like this kind of model. But the real bummer was the tag which said it was bought for $39.99. I mean it’s understandable if you buy some stuff for clients on sale hence low price for the subscription but maybe it’s better to remove sale tags before shipping. Now I feel kinda cheated.

The lowest shipping option cost to Los Angeles was $15.28…yikes.

To those people who subscribe – could you tell us a little more about what you’ve received compared to what Tiffany receives – I’d like to get a better idea of how tailored it is to the individual. Also the sizes? Women’s sizes vary so much, I tend to be a smaller size in higher end labels so I listed those sizes but I was a little nervous about that. What has your experience been?

Charissa

My first box was the February bargain box, I received a cashmere sweater with an MSRP of $365. I also choose the dramatic style so I imagine my item is the same Tiffany receives depending on what she picks when its time to be choosy. Many of the blogs from 2018 list what was in the Posh and Bargain boxes but they do not specify which personality style the items match. There are a few people on instagram showing the items they received.

Try emailing! They’re pretty good on responsiveness.

I just checked their site and noticed on this page it says 2 different things. I guess it used to be $200 plus and is now up to $200. MSA needs to fix that here.

I get the posh box which is 250 a month and my value has never been under 2000 dollars. This is literally the most mind blowing box I’ve ever gotten- posh box is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Please use my code ABBYS50OFF and we both get a month 1-2 off- on with box! The small or large.

I decided to give it a go since that’s a great discount. I’m not expecting much since I usually don’t do well with fashion boxes – I’m too difficulty size/taste, but I always want to try them anyway. I’m curious does anyone else subscribe with different profile – would love to hear about variations others are getting or if they have people fill out these profiles and then send about the same thing to everyone. I hadn’t noticed that about the price either and would definitely question them about that – it looks like part of this shipment is missing. Tiffany always looks gorgeous in everything, me not so much.

Arlene

I thought you were supposed to get $200+ Worth of items but your blazer was only $128. Did you get anything else you didn’t mention? Otherwise, you didn’t get the value they promised.

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

It says $200+ in one place and up to $200 in another. With the $8 shipping, it’s a half price item final sale sight unseen. If I were very open to style and easy to fit, maybe. But no.

Christianne

I completely agree! Not only is there a pretty significant discrepancy between the promised value and the actual value of the item received, the inability to exchange for a different size completely turns me off. I can easily find a $50 pleather jacket from a contemporary designer’s diffusion line at Marshall’s/TJMaxx/Nordstrom Rack, etc. (this jacket is from “Nanette,” not the higher end Nanette Lepore line).

Allison

Thank you for pointing this out! I was so seduced by the cuteness of the blazer that I didn’t realize the discrepancy.

Reply ButtonReply

AmberC

I came here to say just this. While that is a great item, I think I would have been really bummed to only receive this one item that is worth much lower than the promised value.

Reply ButtonReply

JS

That jacket is really cute on you! I love a surprise and a bargain…but this sub is too risky for me, as it sounds like it’s “final sale” as in there’s no exchanging for sizing issues, correct? I’m a tough fit, so guess I’ll need to stick to picking out my own bargains at the likes of Marshall’s and TJ Maxx… 😉

Lisa

That jacket is super flattering! I may have to try this out for my birthday next month! Thanks for the review.

That was such a deal! I love that Jacket! I’ve had my eye on this subject for a while. I still impressed!
