The theme for the upcoming GlobeIn March 2019 Box is…Tasting!

Dear Friends,

Are you a lover of scrumptious tapas, small samples, and snacks? Perhaps you prefer hor d'oeuvres over big meals, and a bit non-committal or indecisive about what to eat and when?

I have curated the Tasting Box for all of you who like to have your cake and eat it too. You can try it, taste it, love it, hate it, and have it all. Test new brands of booze or try out mocktail recipes on your friends with your new set of Tasting Glasses and Flight Stand.

I recommend placing the bottle up for discussion in your Handwoven Large Bottle Coaster. Gather friends together to savor the aromas and tannins of wines, pop open a beer with your Bottle Opener Necklace and relish in the hoppy or maltiness of that variety, all the while jotting notes in your Tasting Journal of which flavors you fancied (or detested!).

So don’t feel shy, stick your nose in the air. Imagine yourself as a master brewer or a true sommelier. Enjoy the critical conversation of delighting in one flavor, while recoiling from another. It is your chance to express an opinion, and commune with those you love.

So gather ‘round the glasses and get together for all the good times and tasting.

Each box will include:

Hand-carved Flight Stand: India

Measurements: Glass (single): 16" x 3"

Materials: Eucalyptus wood.

Care Instructions: Hand-wash only.

In case you missed the previous spoiler:

Tasting Glasses - Turquoise Rim (Set of 4): Mexico Retail $45

Measurements: Glass (single): 3.5" x 2"

Materials: Recycled handblown glass

Care Instructions: Hand-wash only.

Am I missing something? This says tasting glasses but what I see are shot glasses?

Aren’t all of the items in the box spoiled by the picture and the statement? All of these items are capitalized and pictured:
Tasting Glasses
Flight Stand
Handwoven Large Bottle Coaster
Bottle Opener Necklace
Tasting Journal

I’m no prude, but I do think it’s a bit distasteful that a beer is called “Delirium Tremens”. (It’s not the one pictured, but I found it while googling to try to figure out what beer they were showing)

The one in the picture is Delirium Nocturnum. But yeah they have a other beer called Delirium Tremens, which is pretty distasteful. But the beer has been around for 30+ years, and it’s so famous that it’d be difficult to change the name now.

I think it’s more ridiculous that they are passing off the flight stand as a separate item…

It is a separate item since it is made from different artisans from a different country. Also, you can use the glasses without the stand.
