Fabletics February package

Fabletics
3.6 overall rating
60 Ratings | 19 Reviews

Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. You can shop Fabletics in two ways—you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:

  • Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
  • Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $19.00 for new members. (I'm not sure if "new members" refers to just your first order, though.)
  • Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you'd get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
  • As you shop, you'll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.

The key takeaway here is that this subscription won't automatically send you monthly packages like other services do. You have to hop into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

I also got a little pamphlet explaining how Fabletics works. I'm already a devotee, but this is probably handy for new members. And their refer-a-friend program looks great!

Fabletics February colorblock leggings and black top

Pointe 2-Piece Outfit, Size Medium Top in Black, Size Large Leggings - Retail Value $124.90, Member Price $59.95

February's additions to the Fabletics catalog are full of rich jewel tones and comfy casual styles. (In particular, they've started doing a few slogan tank tops that are really fun!) This look stood out to me 1) because I've wanted a pair of colorblock leggings like these (I feel like I see them EVERYWHERE) and 2) because the breezy top seemed like the kind of versatile piece that I could wear to the gym or out and about once the weather warms up.

Fabletics February open back top

Here's a hack you might not have expected. This outfit is set up to feature a pink version of this top (the color is called "Dusty Rose"), but if you click through to the outfit's product page, they give you options to change the color or sizing of either element of this 2-piece outfit as you see fit. I like blush pink but knew that I'd get much more use out of something black. (My wardrobe's favorite color.) One click and I customized this piece to suit my needs! It's fun just to look at the different color options for each outfit and make sure you're getting something that really works for you.

Fabletics February sheer crew neck detail

I love the neckline of this smooth, blousy top. Crew necks look really good on me, plus this one has an extra band of sheer fabric that helps soften the sporty shirt in a stylish way.

Fabletics February black top with open back

The back hangs open, which is ideal for sweaty situations. Note that the bra in this pic is mine—some outfits do come with a sports bra, too, but this one is just the 95% Polyester, 5% Elastane shirt (which doesn't have any supportive element to it) and the leggings.

Fabletics February berry burgundy leggings

Speaking of the leggings, aren't they great?! I really like this warm, pretty color combination. Plus, Fabletics' Powerhold leggings are some of my favorite leggings of all time. The fabric is a little bit thicker, which makes for a flattering fit, but the leggings still have a comfy brushed-cotton feel. The high-waisted cut is really lovely for my wider hips. Nothing slides down or out of place, even in a bendy yoga class.

The Verdict: As usual, I'm super happy with these items from Fabletics! The items fit great, and they're truly performance quality. I'm always impressed by how well this brand's looks stand up, sweat sesh after sweat sesh, and more importantly, wash after wash. They're tough, yet super comfortable and reliably flattering to my figure. And if you don't have it in the budget to nab a new outfit each month, so worries—just set a Google calendar reminder to skip the month before their deadline, and you won't have any charge to worry about.

So, if you shop that month, you have to spend a minimum of the membership fee of $49.95? Or is that just to avoid the shipping? Also, the link to sign up and the leggings link at the end of the thread goes to Hello Fresh (I’m on my phone)

I don’t like the leggings, but I do hoard in my account so when I do order, I can order a few entire outfits every couple months.
