UrbaneBox November 2018 Review

UrbaneBox tends to vary a lot in the styles they send. This is the first time I’ve gotten two of the same types of clothing items in the same box. Let’s check them out!

UrbaneBox Colorblock Cardigan in Maroon, Gray, and Black, Size M

This cardigan is so warm! The acrylic and polyester yarns are woven together into two layers which makes the material thick and plush (it feels a lot like wool). It also gives the color blocks a variety of textures and color variation. Since the material is thick, the cardigan has a nice structure and holds its shape nicely. The pockets are the only thing I’m not crazy about. They don’t lay flat so they make the sides bulge right at the hip.

I thought these cardigans looked similar, but now I can see they have very different styles. This one is much more drapey and has a lot of movement. The front fabric is cut shorter which creates a lapel-like look. The loose-knit black and white yarn is 100% cotton and warm but breathable. This piece will get a lot of use since I can toss it over my tank tops and quickly create a pulled-together look. And, it’s super comfy!

return

There is a flat rate envelope for any returns/exchanges you have. You simply log on to your account and request a return label if needed. Return shipping is free when exchanging sizes.

 Verdict: This month, UrbaneBox sent me two of the same type of clothing item, but with enough of a style difference to not be redundant. It’s also a great time of year for layering pieces since our weather can swing from 40º-70º in an afternoon. Each month has varied so much in style with this box. I like the surprise but also appreciate that returns and exchanges are easy in case I receive something I don’t love.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? UrbaneBox curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: At $60 for this box, each item averages out to $30 each.

  1. This is all you got for 60$ though? Two cardigans?

  2. Both look great!

  3. The color block is very figure flattering on you! The roses in the background make those look like professional modeling pics!
