ShoeDazzle is a monthly shoe, clothing, and accessories subscription service. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices – many styles are only $39.95 (or less) for VIPs.
When you sign up for a membership, you complete a style profile. On the 1st of every month, they release new styles, and you can pick any item you want - either from your personal "Showroom" or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.
This model is similar to how JustFab, Fabletics, and AdoreMe work. (Which makes sense, as JustFab, Fabletics, and Shoedazzle exist under the same umbrella company!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes)

Shoedazzle Valentine's Day Heeled Boots from the Erika Jayne Collaboration
Alinah Lace Up Boot, Size 8 - Retail Value $94.95, Member Price $49.95
Folks, I have finally found a Shoedazzle over-the-knee style that works for me! The fact that these boots (from the collection curated by Erika Jayne, queen of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) lace all the way to the top definitely helped me out. They don't have a ton of stretch, but I could loosen the laces so that they were more forgiving around my calves and knees.
The heel on these babies is 4.25" tall, and admittedly, they're not the most comfortable to walk in—as is to be expected with most Shoedazzle looks, the soles are super thin and there's zero arch support. But my intention is to wear them to a nice Valentine's Day dinner, maybe over some super skinny jeans and a flirty, fluttery top. Y'know, something kinda sassy. Long story short, so long as I don't plan on walking too far in them, I think they'll do fine.
Two quick downsides to mention. The first is that the tongues of these shoes (it's always so funny to me that that part of the shoe is called the "tongue", haha) are on the thin side, width-wise. In other words, if you aren't able to pull the laces tight enough, there's a good chance that there will be a gap between the tongue of the shoe and the sides of the boot (where the grommets are). The other downside is that if you decide to loosen the laces as I did, you might find that you run out of laces before you hit the top holes of the boot. I ended up having to skip the last two holes, which isn't a big deal to me. But if you're concerned about it, maybe opt for the wide-calf size. I feel like I'm right on the edge. Especially with boots like these, I want the fabric to be super fitted, but they definitely ended up being on the tight side.
The Verdict: Shoedazzle isn't the most functional (read: comfortable) shoe brand when it comes to heels and boots. I've had great luck with their booties, sandals, and flats, though. Since I'm not likely to wear these boots a lot (they won't be a day-to-day look), I'm satisfied with them. I do really wish there was a little more support in the soles, though. That would make such a huge difference in terms of how wearable they are!
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! As of publication, these boots are still available in most sizes!
