This model is similar to how JustFabFabletics, and AdoreMe work. (Which makes sense, as JustFab, Fabletics, and Shoedazzle exist under the same umbrella company!)

Shoedazzle Valentine’s Day Heeled Boots from the Erika Jayne Collaboration

Shoedazzle stiletto boots

Alinah Lace Up Boot, Size 8 – Retail Value $94.95, Member Price $49.95

Folks, I have finally found a Shoedazzle over-the-knee style that works for me! The fact that these boots (from the collection curated by Erika Jayne, queen of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) lace all the way to the top definitely helped me out. They don’t have a ton of stretch, but I could loosen the laces so that they were more forgiving around my calves and knees.

The heel on these babies is 4.25″ tall, and admittedly, they’re not the most comfortable to walk in—as is to be expected with most Shoedazzle looks, the soles are super thin and there’s zero arch support. But my intention is to wear them to a nice Valentine’s Day dinner, maybe over some super skinny jeans and a flirty, fluttery top. Y’know, something kinda sassy. Long story short, so long as I don’t plan on walking too far in them, I think they’ll do fine.

Two quick downsides to mention. The first is that the tongues of these shoes (it’s always so funny to me that that part of the shoe is called the “tongue”, haha) are on the thin side, width-wise. In other words, if you aren’t able to pull the laces tight enough, there’s a good chance that there will be a gap between the tongue of the shoe and the sides of the boot (where the grommets are). The other downside is that if you decide to loosen the laces as I did, you might find that you run out of laces before you hit the top holes of the boot. I ended up having to skip the last two holes, which isn’t a big deal to me. But if you’re concerned about it, maybe opt for the wide-calf size. I feel like I’m right on the edge. Especially with boots like these, I want the fabric to be super fitted, but they definitely ended up being on the tight side.

The Verdict: Shoedazzle isn’t the most functional (read: comfortable) shoe brand when it comes to heels and boots. I’ve had great luck with their booties, sandals, and flats, though. Since I’m not likely to wear these boots a lot (they won’t be a day-to-day look), I’m satisfied with them. I do really wish there was a little more support in the soles, though. That would make such a huge difference in terms of how wearable they are!

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! As of publication, these boots are still available in most sizes!

  1. I have to buy shoes that fit very specific criteria for my issues (plural! sesamoiditis in the balls of my feet, heel spurs under both heels, AND saddle bone protrusions on the top of my feet!) and your reviews always make me wish I could do ShoeDazzle. I should probably stop reading them. But I really wanted to say, those boots are made for you! Gorgeous.

  2. The picture of the boots standing there by themselves…scared me a little.

  3. I envy ladies who can pull off these high type boots. On me, being short to boot, pun intended, it would look slutty.

  4. Ohhhh get it Anna!! Those are super nice! And I like that they don’t tie all the way to the top, you styled them perfectly! 👌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Love!

  5. I saw her in the commercials.. had no idea who she was – I thought she was a stripper or something 🤦‍♀️ I need to catch up on my RHOBH

  6. Those are stunning on you and I love me some Erika Jayne. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
