Postmark’d Studio PostBox “ZESTY” Review
In our tiny blue envelope, we received a super cute handwritten note from Anne with a little torn out postive note.
As always, everything in our box is adorably and thoughtfully packaged.
We usually get one blue pencil, but this month we get a summery citrus trio! I am so ready for summer.
Each month we also get a heavy-duty postcard.
Included is a handy card with a list of each item included and info on the product designers and origins. The theme this month is Zesty!
On the back of the info card, there is a recipe for lemon pie. I now want pie.
We start with this super cute trio of postcards in limes, oranges, and lemons. These are just asking to be sent to a close friend for a bright and cheery hello.
Hey, Hey It’s Your Birthday by Hazelmade – Retail Value $4.00
I am loving these summer vibes! Is anything more summer than a mojito? I could enjoy that mix of lime and mint right now! The birthday card offers up a trio and is a perfect festive nod to your favorite summer born.
Lemon Pie Card by Lili Graffiti – Retail Value $5.00
Lemon Pie does indeed make pretty much everything better. This card comes with a beautiful pale yellow envelope. Designed by Lili Graffiti, this site gives you the option of ordering this card and others in both English and French, which is really unique. This card would be a kind gesture to someone going through a little bit of a rough patch who needed a smile and pick me up without it being too sappy.
Citrus Bowl Card by Brown Paper Press – Estimated Value $5.00
This is my favorite card this month. It is letterpressed and could easily be framed for an adorable small bit of artwork in your kitchen or anywhere else that needs a bit of cheer. If you can bear to part with this one, it does come with a kraft envelope that complements it very well.
Grapefruit Notecard by Hazel + Dolly – Buy a pack of 8 for $30.00
I love the color combo of pink and orange on this card. It is so summery and cheerful. I would have to smile if I opened this card surrounded by snow! It is smaller than the others, which really only adds to its cuteness. Again, it is a letterpress card, so I adore it!
Citrus Slice Mini Booklets – Retail Value $3.00
These little mini booklets are just the cutest! They each have 6 pages and are about the size of an actual citrus slice.
Orange Slice Pouch
As usual, this sub commits to a theme and curates it perfectly. This super soft little pouch was not on the item list, but it makes a perfect addition to this month’s assortment. It is the perfect size for stashing your lipgloss, tampons, eye drops, or whatever other little bits you want to keep accessible easily in your purse.
Star Candle, 1 oz – Retail Value $10.00
This candle is super small, and I thought the retail was a little on the high side until I realized it was a massage oil candle. That does add to the value. The scent is of heavy vanilla and limes, and it is just a little tropical. It is a coconut wax base, which is incredibly moisturizing when used as a massage oil, and the scent clings to your skin really beautifully.
As usual, this sub sends along some really fun vintage stamps. I love that these are so warm in color, and suit the citrus cards so well. They also included the usual postage calculator, so you don’t have to worry about not attaching enough stamps.
Verdict: Postmark’d sent me a little preview of summer this month! It has been so snowy this week, so I really needed it. I can’t wait to send some of these cards, though a few might be reserved for slightly more seasonal weather. We usually get cards in this sub right when we would want to send them theme-wise, so I am happy these came early and I do not feel rushed to send them all out immediately. The other items were all really fun too! The candle smelled great, the pouch was beyond cute, and the little citrus booklets are like nothing else in my stationery collection. This box has a value of at least $30.75, minus the stamps, pencils, postcards, and citrus pouch items I was unable to price. If you estimate in the value of all these extras and the curation, I personally consider it a good box value and a totally fun experience to open.
To Wrap Up:
Value Breakdown: This box costs $25.00 + $5 shipping, which means that each of the 10 items in the box (counting the postcards and vintage stamps as one item each) has an average cost of $3.00.
