Facetory is a monthly sheet mask facial subscription. The company aims to provide its members with the latest cult faves from the Korean sheet mask trend. Rather than arriving in a box, like the SEVEN LUX subscription, this smaller FOUR-ever Fresh version comes in a cool pouch that has the same awesome design.

This is a review of the FOUR-ever Fresh subscription level ($8.90 per month + free US shipping), which includes 4 curated sheet masks made from traditional fabrics like cotton and cellulose. They also offer a SEVEN LUX subscription level, which includes 7 curated sheet masks with slightly higher-functioning ingredients (think hydrogels and other more sophisticated ingredients).

Facetory also recently launched Your Story Box which is a personalized box offering oily skin, dry skin, and combo skin options. Learn more here!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Facetory 4 Ever Fresh January 2019 Review

Facetory sends a little info card along with their masks to explain each formula.

There's also a second info card with some simple tips for new sheet maskers.

Facetory Moon Velvet Moisturizing Cream Mask - Listed Value $4.00

I was drawn to try this Facetory brand mask first because of its eye-catching packaging. It doesn't say this anywhere on the package itself, but I've seen it recommended that you massage the packet before opening to spread the cream out over the whole mask. Speaking of the cream, it smelled amazing and felt super refreshing. I can be a little picky when it comes to sheet masks because sometimes the serum is sooo drippy wet that it makes my shirt wet and feel overall too messy, but this cream was nothing but refreshing and relaxing. I rubbed it in before going to sleep, which served me well because my room has been rather dry lately. I woke up with my skin feeling so soft!

LookATME Collagen Essence Face Mask - Retail Value $2.00, Listed Value $3.00

Here's another mask from this month's shipment that gets my stamp of approval for not being overly wet. It was very cooling when applied, and stayed that way over the 15-ish minutes that I had it on. After peeling it off, there was a brief sticky period, but it dried quickly and left my face feeling refreshed. I can't say I noticed the effects of the collagen, but I wasn't expecting to from just one use.

Lyajin 1 Day 1 Mask Pack – Brightening - Listed Value $3.00 (Buy 6 on sale for $8.99 here)

This was a gel mask. It was refreshing at first, but it stayed too moist in my opinion. I couldn't fathom adding the extra essence on with my hands, as it was already all over the place from just the mask! I had a hard time relaxing with this one on because it was so wet, and when I removed it after about ten minutes, my skin felt sticky for quite some time. I ended up rinsing my face to reduce that feeling. This was probably my least favorite mask of the box this month, though it did smell really nice!

NOHJ Mikoleaders Dermal Elasticity Mask Pack - Listed Value $3.00

This mask is meant to improve elasticity in your skin. As with the above, I wasn't expecting to see noticeable results from just a one-time use, but I thought elasticity thoughts while it was on my face, so maybe the placebo will increase the chances. Hehe! This was another gel one that, like the above gel mask, left my face a little sticky. Again, I gave it a quick rinse after the essence dried and felt good to go.

Verdict: I had fun exploring this month's Facetory masks! My favorite was the Moon Velvet and my least favorite was the Lyajin Brightening mask. I'm fascinated by how many different types of masks are out there, and this subscription is a great way to learn what your preferences are!

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? You have until Thursday, January 31 to sign up for this box! After that, you'll receive the February box.

Value Breakdown: The box costs a total of $8.90 including shipping. Using the values listed on Facetory's online shop, however, I came up with a total value of $12. The average price of each mask via the subscription is $2.23.
