Dia Active Subscription Box December 2018 - Box

Dia Active is an activewear styling service that caters to women plus sizes 14 and up. Upon enrolling with Dia Active, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, style, price range, and what activities and/or sports I partake in. For $20 a Dia Active stylist selects five curated pieces sent directly to me! I am able to try them on at the convenience of my own home and only pay for pieces I decide to keep! The $20 styling fee is applied to whatever I do keep, but if I keep the entire box 25% is taken off as well!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia Active may be entirely different than mine!

Dia & Co. Active Box December Review

Dia Active Subscription Box December 2018 - Note

This note from my stylist (Janet) was included. She explains why she picked some of the items she chose for me.

Dia Active Subscription Box December 2018 - Invoice

Also included was this invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, and color of each item she selected for me. This box was complimentary, so the prices have been removed, but I listed the retail value below next to each item. If the prices were on the invoice, it would also show the total for all five items, the $20 credit for the styling fee, and the 25% discount if I decide to keep all five items.

Hydrangea Tee by ActiveZone – Cost to Keep $28

This top is not necessarily my favorite color, but I really, really like the cut. The pleat in the back makes it nice and roomy for workouts. I don’t know if I would do yoga and go upside down in this top, but it is perfect for long walks. It’s a cotton knit blend, which I also prefer over more synthetic fabrics, particularly on top. I like it!

Bond High Waist Capri Tights by Beyond Yoga – Cost to Keep $65

You really can’t go wrong with a pair of basic black leggings. These are a cotton blend and so they feel like they really breathe well. They have moderate compression. I also like the little lotus design on the back of the waist. Too cute!

Belize Sports Bra by Shape Activewear – Cost to Keep $48

I don’t know if I will ever get used to modeling bras! Fortunately the sports bras Dia sends me are pretty modest. I love the color of this one, and it is super supportive. I also think the strappy design on the back is really cool.

Calla Pullover with Mesh Details by NOLA – Cost to Keep $59

This was the only piece I received this month that I don’t really like. This pullover is a little too long, and the cut is not flattering on me. To make matters worse, it’s a really shiny synthetic blend, so the overall effect is really unflattering on me.

Dia Active Subscription Box December 2018 - PurpleDia Active Subscription Box December 2018 - Purple 2

Verbena Tee by ActiveZone – Cost to Keep $32

This tee is so cute! Plus purple is my favorite color. It’s a synthetic blend, but it is soft and comfortable. The print is cool and the little strap across the chest gives it a touch of style. The cut is great and it seems like it would be very comfortable for a good workout.

Verdict: This was my second box from Dia Active, and I am loving it! The pullover was a miss but everything else in the box was awesome! The tops will be a great addition to my workout wardrobe. I have to say, of all the styling boxes I have tried, I really feel like Dia is the one that most closely reads my feedback and actually tries to make my next box even better. They also have good prices. I love Dia Active! I can’t wait for my next box!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia Active curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $233.95. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $155.46 for the whole box. That’s a discount of about 34%. That’s a great deal!

  1. I actually thought the black hoodie looked adorable
    On you!!

    • I liked the black hoodie on you too! I think the pink top looks like it is too large for you.

  2. I’ve had to take a medication for a knee injury which has caused a sizing change. What I’d call a drastic change but my doc says it will go away when the med. is stopped.

Since I know you do some of the plus size only reviews, Anna, it would really help me to know what your stated sizes are and also how tall you are.

I like the sportswear much more than casual work wear because I need to exercise my knee but don’t work outside my home any longer. 😉

As far as I know, the other reviewers say this and it really helps me know about how much coverage I would have with some of the leggings and tops too.
    Thanks! 😉

PS- We are all on this journey with our body images and I mean absolutely no disrespect by asking for more info. You are beautiful! 😉

  3. The bra and the purple top are super cute. I’m not a pink person myself. It washes me out too much.
